Great place to take kids to play. Has a pavilion with multiple benches. Which is great for barbecues, birthdays, & picnics; whatever your outdoor activity is. Has Nice playground lots of area to run and play. It has a tennis net so you can play badminton, tennis, & volleyball. Also has multiple trash; cans so clean up after yourself and it has a port a potty if needed But not handicap accessible.

Nice place to eat your lunch and read a little history.

This is a nice little park, tucked away behind the trees across from Merrill Field. You have a nice playground, pavillion, open fields and woods surrounding it. You can bbq and have family picnics

Cute little park, great big gracey space to play games and a giant grass hill to play on or sledding on in the winter.

Fun park. Big field and hill.

Quiet place during the week days. Lists of song birds. At the back of the park is a walking trail.

Anchorage has the best hiking/biking/skiing trails of any city Ive ever been to. Well maintained, well lighted, safe and plenty of wildlife. Moose, lynx, eagles abound.

I arrived just as the sun was rising, the bush is thick and animals, mostly moose will let you know that the park belongs to them! Other than that the lock is always nice

Fun sledding didnt even have to share the hill

It hasnt changed a bit great for really little kids, and theres this rock structure for climbing. But its very easy to get stuck on it. The trail is wonderful.

Kids like the climbing rock! Theres a big hill that they like to roll down that would be great for sledding in the winter. Its geared more towards little kids though.

Walking in city parks especially the ones here in Alaska theyre so beautiful the view is breathtaking

Park was great. However the parking area is very small when there are big parties. You can park on the side of the streets.
