Place is great for a quick dose of emergency wilderness therapy. Only problem is there is a lot of homeless camps around and they dont even try and conceal their sites.

Great park. Large with creek access, playground, and homeless encampments. Be careful to avoid needles from ol Methy McNoTeeth so you dont get super-AIDs. Thank Berkowitz for this dreamy piece of Americana

Beautiful Anchorage green space. The creek feels amazing on a hot day. It gets crowded but you dont have to go far to get away from most people.

The park they have next to the Creek on Lake Otis is pretty nice compared to the old set up that they use to have. if you walk down the trail towards Elmore you will get a nice view of the trees and the creek. However depending on what time of the day you go walking down them you will run into a good amount of homeless people (just a heads up). Most of them mind their own business and keep to themselves however some of them will harass you a little.

This is a great trail to run, bike, walk your kids or dogs on with great scenery for wildlife and plants. In the summer time theres salmon and trout in the creek to look at while theyre spawning. Theres also a park for the kids to play on and a shallow part of the creek right there also that the kids and adults can play in on a hot summer day. Bring a towel, swimming gear, snacks and drinks for the kids cause you might be there for hours.....

I love this trail and it has a place in my heart. Bums tend to hang out in one section but honestly never had trouble with the ones here. In the woods you can find old camps and secret trails wandering through the woods. Perfect place for a long walk, enjoying the sunshine, and freeing your soul :)

Its a very nice park, and a great place for outings with the kids etc. There is an assortment of playground equipment that is very nice, and a few picnic tables, and a softball or baseball area. Its very sad that the homeless people who hang around here often make the park anunpleasant place to be.Years ago there was a very nice boardwalk overlooking the creek where visitors could sit and rest and look at the fish. Because of the dunks that constantly hung out there and passed out on the deck they were removed.Even with the boardwalk removed, drunks still hang out in the park and four letter words are often shouted in ear shot of little children.Fortunately the drunks dont hang around the playground that often, its mostly in the woods and in the entrance to the parkI dont recommend going into the park at night by yourself, especially if you are female or have little children with you.Perhaps if the rescue mission on Tudor relocated to a different place then the park will be a better place to visit. Ive spoken with many of the drunks who hang out in the park, and many of them congregate because they get locked out of the rescue mission at night because they have been drinking. Its still a great park though, and as long as you are aware of your surroundings and enter the park on the playground side then you shouldnt have too much to worry about

Love it here. Nice trails and everything, but sometimes these hobos bother us and some ghetto kids make graffiti. Small rainbows can be caught, use salmon eggs on a very small hook with a bobber.

Nice park with lack of parking. I hear they will be building more parking soon. There plenty of things for kids to play with such as the creek and norml jungle gyms you would find at a park. Down side of the park is if you follow the creek or explore the woods you will run into trash left behind by bums.

The play structures are great, and I love the access to the creek. I do not like the lack of barrier between the play area and a very busy section of Lake Otis.
