It’s a small little park with trails it’s great for walking your dog as long as you have a leash and clean up after them. It doesn’t have a playground there is a bench to sit in a trashcan it does have good amount of parking spots.

Ice Skating in the winter is great. We always seem to show up just after they hot- mop the ice. The kids love to play when they are done with skating and they are close enough to keep an eye on the skating and the playground.Summers bring the Saturday market group, and more play time. There are always a few kids to play with and the obstacle course is fun! The multi-person swing is a blast.

If you live close by it’s great place to run, walk, ride your bike or walk your dog, and you don’t even have to drive to it! There is limited parking off of Northern Lights for those of you wanting to drive there. Throughout the trail there are about 20 exercise/stretching stations that can be included in your workout.

Outside perimeter set up as a dog walk with the interior set up as a set of fitness stations. Whats missing as far as I could tell was a kids playground. Very well kept!

Its not as big as some parks in Anchorage, but it is a nice spot to pull over we got see a mama moose and her baby, also heard from another local that there is a black bear around the area. Just be aware of yourself and nature out there.

Been going on this trail for over a year now. Its beautiful and in the warmer months you can utilize the exercise equipment across the park. Its full of neat little surprises like tiny doors at the base of some trees that are sometimes found to have lights behind them to give the illusion of elves or fairies. Occasionally moose roam there but they seem pretty used to people and as long as you know how to handle a moose encounter you will be fine.
