We loved this!! My 4 year old said it was her favorite ride all day. While its not an exciting ride for an adult her screams and laughter made it so. Anyone with young kids definitely needs to stop at this ride. The line moves pretty quick but it does take a couple minutes to load and unload.

This is a nice simple ride that anyone can ride, whether you have eaten food or not. When I first got on this ride, there was a 5 minute wait. However, it felt more like no wait. When the ride started, we got a nice view of Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier at night. Not only that, but we also got a breeze. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing ride that I will definitely go back on when I revisit Disney California Adventure again!

This super fun ride is also super basic - you sit in a two person seat and get spun around at a decent speed. Its a low stress ride, but you are a couple of stories off the ground, so if youre afraid of heights this ride might not be for you. It closes fairly often, as its wind sensitive. Overall an enjoyable ride! If youre with two small children, do know that you cannot sit three across, so youll have to have one of your children sit in another row.

A great ride for those of a younger age and as a added bonus there is rarely a wait.

I love anything Disney, anyone of any age or size can ride,theres hardly a line,everyone is nice and I even found souvenir that I had been looking for at other parts of the park and I couldnt. Go and enjoy with your friends and family.

Disney.....get rid of this ride. Its pointless. Its always closed. It was a cheap and easy ride to build but with wait times always under 5 mins. That lets you know that most park guests arent interested.

The ride’s a standard spinning ride with themeing that’s mediocre at best, figures why this barely has a wait, and the zyphyrs are silver not gold like the name leads you to believe.The ride is fairly solid though, especially at night. With the ride being situated at a nice viewing area you can have a fantastic view of the rest of Pixar pier with all the lights on. But with the ride having no height requirements, kids would enjoy it.

The Golden Zephyr is a steampunk dream realized at Pixar Pier. A mild ride that is appropriate for everyone, best enjoyed after sunset.

A cute fun ride where you ride in a rocket swinging round in a circle. Theres rarely much of a wait. As some others have noted, if its windy the ride will be shut down.

Great views and fun for the kids. The line was short for this one. Get the app that tells ride wait times to help plan out your ride agenda.

Offers nice views of Pixar Pier, but is only worth doing if the wait is less than five minutes. Very skippable.

Golden Zephyr is another in the theme of the old timey boardwalk in the Paradise Pier area of DCA. Its a fun and short ride, with mild thrills but a great view of the whole Paradise Pier. It doesnt really go that fast, but it sure seems like its fast when you lift off the platform and swing out over the water. It closes down at night during World Of Color. If there is no line it is a fun distraction and a nice way to sit back and enjoy the view!
