Loved it! The park is small but clean with bathrooms and picnic tables. Discover Pass required. We sprung for an annual pass which is $30 or $10 for the day. Bring exact change, cash only here or go to nearby Bowman Bay and pay with a credit card and explore both parks! Dont miss the short hike out to rhe viewpoint. Thats the main reason to visit this park.
One of those places that seems to bring out the humanity as well as the oddities in people. Lots of families; kids being kids. Photographers with everything from tripods to phones. People out for a walk in the air.Its not that big but the trail on the Google map in no way reflects all the places you can go.lots to explore.
Nice place to relax. You can sit in natures lap. Quite and peaceful. One should visit on sunny day.
Ive camped at Bowman Bay with all of my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I love this area so much and the hikes are beautiful and easy for little ones. The Washington state park biology volunteers are great and taught us a lot about the local sea life. The tide pools are always fun to explore and its a close place for a day trip from the Seattle area.
One of my favorite places on the west coast. No matter the weather, extremely beautiful! Great spot for a picnic or to log some miles, connecting it with all the trails in the area!
I love this place. Beautiful.
This is one of my very favorite places. I love to walk around the circle trail that takes you through the woods and up around the cliffs. I love to sit up in the cliffs and catch some sun, relax and enjoy the Puget Sound. Its never overly crowded and you can also walk along the rocky beach. Wear good walking shoes here. Some of the trail can be a little narrow and steap but the trail isnt that long. This is a really great place for portrait photos. I did my childrens here as they were growing up. The lawns have carpets of these little tiny daisies which are a great backdrop as well as large driftwood logs, the forest and if you look to your left right as you are coming in there is a beautiful little area with this tall stone wall with greenery and trees all around that is perfect for portraits. There are clean restrooms, picnic tables scattered here and there and a place to BBQ. I cant say enough about this park. Its a summer must!
Beach is rocky but nice, can snorkel or dive in one area, the picnic benches and areas to grill are well maintained and the hiking trails have amazing vistas with boats and sea creatures in abundance.
Great spot but can be rather busy when there is a great sunset in the forecast.
Wonderful view after a short hike up Rosario Head and fantastic tide pools at the bottom! For the tide pools rope is laid out to follow along to reduce impact on the animals and environment. Great place for families and to see marine life up close!
Beautiful seaside mountain, 200-300 feet high above sea level. Be Very Careful around the cliffs. Several trails on the mountain.
Incredible view with visibility for miles! Check out footage from my time here on my YouTube channel, Life Outdoors!
Very nice State park.
Beautiful.....Except for the roar of navy jets.
Short but exhilarating trail. Views from the cliffs left me breathless. Will try to make this trip again
One of my favorite places on Earth is Rosario Head and the accompanying beach. An excellent mix of forest and sea, and a dose of culture with the Maiden of Deception Pass and also the Civilian Conservation Corps exhibit at Bowman Bay.
Great hike around the bay
My family has been visiting this wonderful place since 1938. Its only recently gained popularity in the past couple decades. Its still my favorite place in the whole world.
Beautiful beach facing West for the sunset.
Accessible through Bowman Bay, it seems there is camping permitted (but Im not positive), the Rosario trail is good for various levels of hikers, very lush and well kept.
It’s a beautiful sight here in the PNW. Make sure to read the story by the statue of the Native Sea woman on your way up.
Beautiful views, not bad if you can get away from tourist
Interesting, nice place for a picnic, very short walk/hike
Great views, with nice little hiking trail
Beautiful park nice trails and pretty nice beaches with tide pools.

Breathtaking 360° views!
Stunning view
Perfect place to drop a line
Great park. Good pavilion.
If you go here, dont forget to take the trail to Bowman Bay. It was my favorite. I love this place and was the highlight of our hiking trip to the area
You cant even really beach explore. Not allowed to touch or move any objects on the beach.
Beautiful place ! Especially for Sunset!
Stunning views from the bluff
This is one of those special places you find every now and then
We went at sunset and the view was amazing, but complete the loop before twilight is over. Youll need light to negotiate the path. We didnt get to stay as long as we would have liked and were were there the wrong time of day to visit the tide pools. Will go again
A beautiful park with hiking trails, beaches, and amazing views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
