What an adorable lake! All workers were so friendly. They set up 6ft distance spots to lay your blanket and beach chairs at and every worker was wearing a mask and wonderful service. You can rent paddle boards and i think kayakes. They have ice cream for sale. They also have an adult swim last 10 minutes of every hour. Its nice since the kids can quickly take up all the room in the swim area of the lake. There are ducks sometimes swimming by which can get kind of yucky but they swim away pretty quickly. I cant speak too much of how clean the lake is. I am used to much bigger lakes, but this lake is medium to smaller and is warmer too.

Beautiful beach. Make sure you arrive with someone from the town. The beach is just for residents. 8$ entrance. Beautiful and safe to bring kids.

Very nice town beach. Excellent set up for social distancing on the beach with regular bathroom cleaning. My grandkids really had a great time.

Good little spot for townies

Great place to get the kids out of the heat. Cheap Kayak and other boat rentals. Snack stand with great prices makes this a reasonably priced way to spend a day.

Very clean, great family beach. Sections for young children as well as an area for older kids. Life guards do a great job.

1. Can not use the beach if not a town resident on weekends. 2. You do have to pay 8 bucks an adult, 4 for kids. Worth the price when you have life guards watching out and also there is a snack shack.Had a great day over all. There is a playground and docks, a picnic area, all around GREAT beach/lake.

Its an amazing place warm water plenty of space to swim kayaking is amazing and cheap food is cheap but the adult swim only for 10 minutes is only for the lifeguards to go on break

Love this place!!! Feels like summer. Safe, clean and well maintained. Super kid-friendly and staff are always nice. Life guards on duty at all times. Season pass is inexpensive even if you are from out-of-town. Great place to go as a family.

Townies only!

Great small-town beach. Has amazing amenities: snack stand, reservable picnic tables, charcoal grills, kayaks, paddle boards, a roped in swim area, shaded area, sandy beache, life guards, and friendly staff. Its on the small Baboosic Lake, which is big enough for powered boats (228 acres). The lake is lined with houses, some awe inspiring and some others for any budget. So get off the couch, come on over to the beach, enjoy the sun, rent a kayak and paddle around Amhersts little slice of New Hampshire heaven.

The Amherst Town Beach is the perfect place for a hot summer day. There is a snack shack for a quick bite, as well as kayaks and other items available to rent; Its $4 to carry in an out of town boat. Staff are thorough about keeping the lake safe from invasive plants that might harm the local ecosystem​.

This is not a public beach. Its open to only town residents over weekends and public holidays. Google shouldnt even suggest this beach. My kids were so disappointed.

I guess theres a star on how beautiful the place was. Mind you this was my first time being there. But because of the customer service was so horrible i will never go back again. The person i spoke to was very rude. When i got there and asked for a flyer or if they had a pamphlet to show a friend. Also because i wanted to know the cost or at least remember it. The kid asked why? With an attitude. The woman was even just as rude!! I was in shock no joke!! I just wanted to take my kids swimming thats all and made a mistake on not knowing the cost. But the people there is why ill never go back..!! I even said to them that they didnt have to be so rude.. Too bad
