A beautiful park with lots of green grass, picnic tables (with grills), tennis and basketball courts, several baseball fields, and even an amphitheater, where plays and concerts are held in the summer. The craftsman lodge has an interior stage and huge stone fireplace. I think it can be rented out for events, like art shows. Such a great location, right next to the mountains. They filmed “The Little Rascals” there. The pergola with the wisteria on it is gorgeous in March, when the wisteria blooms.

Im going every day at any time. This place are so clean. And dogs are welcome.

Decent park. Altadena kinda outta the way. Unless you live there. Good hiking trails nearby. Has a baseball diamond. Couple basketball courts. Picnic areas. I believe you can reserve them. Used to back in the day anyway. Limited parking. At the top or north end of the park. Some street parking all around with a small southern lot on the south east end. Park kept clean for the most part. Pleasant folks frequent.

Not too big but it has a basketball court, a place to play tennis, and a baseball field. The bathrooms are clean. This is a nice place to have a picnic or family gathering because it has lots of tables . Or you can spread a blanket and just relax under one of the many trees. Also it has a beautiful view to the mountains...

Wish the childrens play area had better equipment. Very limited for the little ones. Otherwise very nice, clean park.

Amazing variety of old trees situated on gently rolling hills with a variety of sports fields, amphitheatre, picnic tables and a playground. Nestled at the base of the foothills with a view of DTLA, this park is a gem and had it all. Its also well maintained and has night lighting to boot.

A great local park for our small community. The playground is clean and beautiful with the Mountains as a nice backdrop. Ive grown up at this park with my friends and family and its great to take my daughter there to grow up at. There are many of great areas to walk around and enjoy,from basketball and baseball to picnicking and concert area.

Wednesday evening yoga class with Sheila Smith in the Community Center (enter from Mt. Curve) 7:30p-8:15pm is great! Wonderful teacher, beautiful room, great neighbors.

It is a beautiful park. Although the hall seats 200. If you want dancing at your event it only holds tables for 150

This was my neighborhood park growing up. The maintenance on it is much better than when I was a kid. It is at the peak of Lake Ave. close to the mountains so it feels almost like a mountainside huge rest stop area. Community events are often held here and its always enjoyable. The most recent was the Sherrifs car show. It was small but fun. The views from this park are scenic and picture worthy. A lot of concerts are held but they abide by the noise ordinace of 10pm quiet time. Peaceful and fun park for a picnic, watching a little league game or just walking around for exercise.

This park is pretty quiet, great if you are looking for a relaxing time. There are lots of picnic tables and even BBQ pits to grill on. There are playing fields and restrooms. There is an amphitheater which I heard there are free events at during the summer months. 2 parking lots as well.

This a great place to have a cookout an gatherings. Very nice area to grill ur meat an a bongolo setting. We had our High school Reunion cookout there!

Park has lots of amenities. Mostly go for baseball practices, but there is a playground, basketball courts, tennis courts and green space for fun.

Free parking. Good place for a picnic and for kids to run around.

Enjoyed the location. No fighting, shooting or any other negative things. Peaceful and relaxing.

Amazing assortment of everything Indian. Wish I lived closer as I would shop there frequently.

Located in the North East part of Altadena Ca.. I hadnt been there in probably40+ years but it was just as I remember it, from the ball field to the covered picnic areas and including an open air theatre where as a child I watched classical performances on a warm summer night.

Kept very tidy, various courts for tennis, benches, an amphitheater, and clean restrooms.

Quite, peaceful and easily accessible. You can have a cook out, watch the kids place or just sit under a tree on a hot day.

Great park for functions.We had Church in the park and it was an enjoyable experience. Nestled in the Altadena neighborhood even the restrooms were clean and stocked. I will consider this park for other events.

Great park. It is always clean and not heavily trafficked. There is a large baseball field, a well-lit basketball court, a childrens playground, a few picnic areas and an Amphitheater. During the summer months, the amphitheater hosts local bands. The concerts are usually packed, but the target audience seems to be retirees and senior citizens. This park is popular for birthday parties. Make sure you contact the city and make a reservation.

The low side at a park when you watching a baseball game comes with plenty of shade but the high side doesnt have any shade really unless you sit up at the top of the steep hill up under the tree

One of my favorite parks. Multi-tiered park with two baseball fields, jungle gym, amphitheater, picnic areas and tennis courts. Great place for family and kids.

Its not what it used to be the only complaint I have are the fries the seasoning they is terrible and they changed the type of fries as well other than that its ok.

Friends of mine rent this venue for a small music festival each year, and the acoustics are amazing. The staff is helpful and it is easily accessible.

This is by far our favorite park in our area.

Farnsworth park is nice tree lined park with areas for basketball, a playground, baseball field, and picnics. Park is on a incline so almost like a hike walking from the bottom to the top.

I was with the grands playing baseball on the secondary field on the last day of summer break normally that one is not to busy

Its a nice park, but with so much fenced in area and plenty dogs around it could use an off-leash dog area.

Huge open spaces for playing catch!, sprints, lounging and just about anything else.... super clean away from highway

A hidden gem of a park. Its way up lake street so it gets fewer visitors and hence its in great condition. Deceptively large.
