Really nice museum if youre interested in trucks and American history of trucking and mobility. The tour guide was great and he knew almost everything we asked and could tell some facts about every truck/vehicle of the exhibition. Unfortunately they dont offer a factory tour anymore since theres no factory anymore.
This museum has been on my bucket list a while and we finally went and brought our friends from out of town along. The tours are every half hour and free of charge. There was actually more to see than I expected including a large anechoic chamber and a good number of historical Mack trucks from the early-mid 20th century up to one used in the recent Transformers 3 movie. We even got to see a restoration in progress and sit in a few of the latest model cabs in the showroom (with a guide, though this section is not always open to the public). It was fun and I would come back again with my nephews who love big trucks.
Oh wow what an awesome and amazing Mack truck museum this is. It definitely is, so much fun and exciting. I had learn so much information about each and every truck thats there. Also its fun for the whole family as well. I definitely think if the parents have brought their young kids and teenagers they will definitely have a blast there.
Great place to gather with family and friends.
Fantastic place lots of history there everyone should see it didnt know this place existed for years and the headphones are pretty cool you can be your own guide
What a great museum. Jim our guide was excellent, extremely knowledgeable on the history of Mack Trucks. There was a nice variety of trucks some privately owned and on loan. Very nice for people of all age. Best part of it all was its free, they do have a donation box, but with no obligation.
If youre into trucks this is a great free tour. I do not believe you can wander around by yourself, but rather you have a guide to show you around. I went on a weekday afternoon and I was the only visitor, so my guide (a retired Mack employee) showed me around, pointing out interesting facts about the different trucks.
Great service. Love the management and employees. But not allowed to make some noise.
I was hoping for a great experience; however.... that isnt possible unless you want to listen to a guide spend an hour explaining every photograph they have on display showing the history of Mack trucks from 1900 thru 2010. (By the way, the Mack brother do NOT like brothers.)I love the history of the automobile business, but I cannot stand in one place for over an hour listening to the guide giving a complete history lesson. We went to the Mack museum to see and experience the old vehicles and the history of the exhibits; not to stand with a several people and noisy kids while listening to a guide explain each and every of the thousand or more photos.Good grief what the hell are they thinking, that older people can stand there for an hour or more listening to something they dont want to hear just to see some old vehicles? Have a heart; not everybody can take the physical abuse of standing within a small area for an hour or more.I recommend staying away from this place until they change their policy. The Anthem truck is awesome!
Great historical of Mack with some really neat artifacts and restorations.
Its a small museum with tons of stuff.
I enjoyed the tour and history of Mack Trucks. It was great learning about the brand of truck that makes me a living.
Although they were preparing for a competition staff was great and helpful with the kids. In fact they modified the tour just for our 3 and 5 year old. Great place to stop by if you are in the area.
Overall good tour. We learned when we got there it would be an hour and a half. We had a 3 year old with us. Expected to just walk around on our own. After about 30 minutes we went and looked at the actual trucks on our own and left. Jim our tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. We just didnt have a 3 year olds attention span to stay for the whole thing. Excellent for free and if you a lot of time and interest in Mack truck history. The trucks were very cool. All very old. Some in original condition. Most reconditioned.
Nice truck display take about 1 hour to see it all

If you are interested in Mack Trucks, this is the place to go. Great History, lots of vehicles to see. The only bad thing was the gift shop was closed. Could not get any Mack SWAG
A really nice facility. Impressive.
Excellent website and will be going there soon
Magnificent museum. Our Docent, Chuck, gave us inciteful and interesting commentary about a company that you have to admire. Mack Trucks played a major role in the development of our country. Their ties to Hollywood were amazing to see. My grandson will be impressed with the ties to Cars his favorite movie when he has a chance to visit. You wont be disappointed with a visit to the Mack Trucks museum.
If you love antique trucks I highly recommend the Mack museum. Its a good history lesson also.
Tour was free and fun. They have a good variety of trucks from different time periods as well as a decent amount of history given during the tour.
It a great place to learn about the history of Mack trucks
Awesome seeing them building the trucks
Great guided tour by Don. 35+ year employee who used to work as a test engineer. He knew so much about the history of Mack and the details of the trucks. Kids had a blast. I was surprised it was a no-charge tour considering the quality. I made sure to get some goodies at the company store! I would go back again for sure.
LOVED our private tour with Bill- Super knowledgeable...very helpful with information for my husbands restoration project, GREAT displays!

Dont go here. Recently Mack was hosting a Disney Pixar Cars Road to the Races event. The event was supposed to be from 1-5. Mack changed the event to 1-2:30 and then reserved the 2:30-5 slot for their own employees. They then unbeknownst to the Disney cast facilitating the event stopped people from coming into the event even for customers who had priority passes. Disney was unaware Mack made these changes. Numerous customers were turned away.
Went to training seminar here place was really cool everyone was very nice and professional

Very nice place.
A true spirit of far going organisation.
The museum showcases the progress of Mack trucks along with remembering their roots and Brockway trucks. A must-see for any Mack or truck lover.
The history on display is of interest to people that arent necessarily involved in trucking as well as those who are. Great place to bring kids so they get a sense of the way things were done in the past.
