Nice place. Went fishing but only caught turtles. I heard the stock these pond with rainbow trout this time of year, hopefully I will catch one in the near future.

This is a spacious park with a few options for walking around the perimeter around the lake. There are picnic tables, playground, and the lake hosts fish, turtles, ducks etc. I love coming here in the spring when the bluebonnets are in bloom.My only con is - I wish there were more trees along the walking trail to shade the summer sun like some other Allen parks.It’s a nice area to feed the ducks (come early before they fill up though)You can also people watch, picnic, and relax under a tree.

Lots of large pods, play grounds, tables, geese ducks and long sidewalks for a stroll through the park. Very nice our familys favorite park in Allen.

We love going to this park. I wish there was more ground than water though. Sometimes it gets smelly and other times too many tiny flies. But overall I like going there.

Really nice park, sometimes there is a lot of people and the park is super big. One concern is there is a lot of dog poop so that is something you should watch out on.

Nicely kept up park. I took my nephew fishing and he actually caught a small bass.There was a worker mowing the fields and he sprayed fresh cut grass all over us. He was doing it to all of the people who were fishing. Maybe he had a bad day? Not cool.

Beautiful lake, very calm and quiet most of the time. Good spot to fish.

The park is nice and clean cut. Lots of duck and geese droppings on the sidewalk but we will be returning for walks and visits again in the future. Could use a little more shade on the walk path but was very nicely laid out.

Beautiful park, we really enjoy it every single day, lots of trails to walk, lots of lakes...good place to bring your pets and kids and a good place to poke around! My kids love this place especially the Dukes.

Open. Clean. Well manicured. Lots of fierce geese to run away from. Pet friendly. Catch and release pond? Not sure. I dont fish. But there are always people there that do.

Love this Park. Great place to walk or jog. Great for the family and for pets. Very well kept and has a ducks. I enjoy the beauty and peaceful vibe. There is also a park for the kids. You can bring your bikes and ride the trail too.

When we took a walk in an area we hadnt been before we found a cute little Creek. Following it, we kept finding more and more water features. We never came to an end of the nice park-like setting. Well definitely come back!

This park is awsome so clean feels like heaven

Has a pretty good play ground for smaller kids I would say under 6. It has three ponds to fish at. I take the kids fishing in the spring time to catch all the brim. If your kids are like mine they only want to fish if they are catching fish every 30seconds and get bored if they arnt. If you go in the spring time all three ponds have a bunch of brim and can catch the small fish very fast. Use small hook and corn.

My kids love this park. Lot of open graound for kids to running around and easy to exercise social distance.

Took my girls fishing using worms and tiny hooks. They caught a bunch of fish and had a great time. Of course it was catch and release; the fish were tiny.

Really was not the best disc golf course for my second time playing, but I had a lot of fun. The 8th tee is beautiful in the spring, surrounded by wildflowers.

Good food, served hot, busy, but not a long wait. Best fast food burger in the USA!

Nice little neighborhood park, the baseball field is in need of upkeep, and hole 9 of the disc golf course is missing a pad

Fun park to fish and relax. This park is well maintained and with the help APD the unwanted elements stay at away. Now Id I can only find our where the fish are hiding I will be all set...

We came for the Summer Sounds Concert. There were designated staff directing cars into additional parking in the grass. Very easy to access the lawn area set up for listening to the music. Plenty of space for all guests to stretch out picnic blankets or lawn chairs. Many kids playing catch in the space behind everyone. Great family friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to next weeks concert.

Its a great park with ample room to run, play or fish! I took my son here last week to do a little bank fishing and had a great time catching some smaller bass. The park consists of a playground, gazebo pavilion, ample walking trails, and 4 ponds. Take the the family out and enjoy a little bit of relaxation outside!

Its one of the best parks in Allen, if not the best! Its perfect for all ages, and a great spot to watch the sunset.

Its a great park and very well manicured grounds. The park center was a good place for a private party event with a beautiful pond outside the floor to ceiling Windows in the room.

This is a great place to walk your dog. Lots of room, lots of paths and they supply bags for accidents right at the parking lot.

Love this place, has a hidden trail between the Joe farmer rec center and the lake its a tiny lake more like a pond.

Overall great. I do wish they would make a big loop around the park for running, walking, or biking.

Very peaceful and quiet park with a lake, active community of ducks, great park for the kids and some cool architecture, too. Connects to surrounding suburban community via walking trails. They have disc golf as well!

Nice park. Offers fishing, a place to walk your dog and a playground for kids. There are also facilities to rent from the City of Allen and a couple covered picnic tables. The free concerts are held here and there is a nice facility for indoor sports.

Its a nice park that my kids love to go to but I really wish people that fish there would pick up after themselves. Ive pulled up tons of fishing line that my lures get hung up on that it makes it difficult to enjoy.

Beautiful park with scenic trails and ponds. One can enjoy many activities here. Wonderful fishing locations are easy to get to. there is a large covered pavilion on site if anyone wanted to plan a birthday party. restrooms are also on site.

Ive been coming here since I was a kid and great to bring my little one here. Walked around the pond did a little duck watching and played.

Visiting my daughter in allen few times a year, we go at the park every day. Take my grandson to the playground, play baseball ride bike,walk around lakes with beautifull ducks, and the park is very well maintain. Thank you city of Allen.

This park constantly feels like a work in progress. I was excited to learn the park has a disc golf course. Unfortunately, the course is poorly laid out. First throw goes right through a little league field. Many throws are obstructed by people fishing or picnicking. Layout shows a complete lack of concern or desire to have players. I am always surprised to see the baskets are still I place. But would love to see this course updated to a decent 9 hole course.

Local playground with plenty for running adults to infant/toddlers. Quiet and the people are friendly. BONUS: You can feed the fowl

Small park but it’s big enough to walk your dog who loves the outdoors, always kept clean, bathrooms could use some work and lots and lots of birds and turtles. The good thing about this part it’s right next to the rec center so there’s a lot of things todo. Also they need to clean the bird droppings from the memorial. There’s way too many.

Great place to take the kids or go for a nice walk. Just make sure to bring bug spray! Fished here once, but no luck. A lot of algae in pretty much all the ponds.

Love this park! If you fish, disk golf, have a outdoor party or just want a nice play ground for the kids this is the park to go to!! 4 ponds to fish ( that actually have fish that are biting) the covered picnic tables up top you can reserve for parties. Good walk ways to take the dogs or just get some steps in. If your around it and have been its a great spot to check out. And there was some the rec center connected to it that has alot to check out.
