This place is so well thought out and a delight to go to for softball games. The park is just lovely. The game fields are artificial turf so theres no dust flying into spectators eyes during play. Plenty of space to sit under canopies either on built in benches or in your own folding chair. Kudos to the city of Allen for building this.

Its a beautiful place! I go there to play softball and their fields are beautiful. I just wish their dugouts were a little bigger! I also like to go for walks after my games and the scenery is beautiful. You should definitely visit!

Nice park with lots of baseball fields. There are plenty of picnic benches perfect for a family get together and a bid playground for the kids, too.

I wish we would have had skate parks like this when I was a kid. My son and I went this morning at 8:00 a.m. and we were the only ones there. We went another time in the afternoon and it was pretty crowded. There are some delinquents there smoking pot and drinking in the corner, but other than that it was really nice.

I was able to gather with some of my co-workers at the picnic tables where we had a socially distanced lunch. We had not seen each other since mid-March, so the park provided us with a location.

Great historical spot of Allen. Easy to get to via nice pathway. I like the view from the bridge!!

Nice place to take a stroll or take selfies. Centerpiece is a bridge over a scenic waterfall, with historical signs about the Allen Dam of 1912.

One of the best parks in the area and probably in all of Texas. Lots to do, endless lines to figure out, 2 bowls, several ledges, rails, manual pads.

Love the Train history & preservation of stone dam used by steam engines late 1800-1900s. City of Allen did a great job incorporating bike trail, signs & beautiful foot bridge to cross Cottonwood Creek.

This place is my muse in early June when I do work around here. Beautiful green everywhere and so peaceful. Go during sunset. Everything is magical.I saw one family just run on the baseball fields and play around then leave.I noticed lots of parking and very clean grounds.

Its not exactly a long walk, but it is a fun and pretty one. Take a moment to read up on some of the history of Allen, its quite fascinating really. I recommend taking a stroll across the old railway bridge as well, its adorned with surprisingly kind and upbeat graffiti on it. Thats an interesting change of pace for sure!

Nice place to meet friends for an informal get together. Had a avocado bagel. It seemed somewhat watered down but was okay. Service is good and coffee was very good and kept nice and hot.

I love this spot! Great skate park! Also a roller rink if your into foller hockey. Park has a snack bar and skate shop. If you need to borrow a tool to repair board or scooter. They got you. Skate park is huge and laid out well. You can take long lines though the whole place and mostly stay out of the way. Definitely one of my favorite parks of all time.

My son has recently taken up inline skating after getting a pair of skates at a garage sale. I was nervous to take him to a real skate park since he’s an amateur at best, but overall the park was safe and the other older kids there were nice and watched out for my son. It’s a pretty big park with lots of deep drop ins. Next time we may bring a bike or scooter. Love that we have access to a skate park that is free and so well maintained. We will definitely be back.

To be honest, I liked it better before the renovation as it was more like a secret that my wife, son and I could go where no one else knew its secrets. Now it is cleaner and possibly safer with the addition of security cameras and they repaired the dam itself.

This is a really nice park to walk! Its based off of the old railroad tracks that ran through Allen, so there is a lot of history you can read and see. Also, if you are looking for a good place to have a picnic, then you should try out this park

Nice set up, quality fields, and very well taken care of.

With the price paid to reserve the fields, the infield clay maintenance had a lot of room for improvement.The city spends a lot of money built the fields (baseball and softball). If the infields are not properly maintained and moisturized, the infields can bald due to high wind situation; and the city might have to spend more money to fix them.

The playground between ball fields was really fun! Theres a smaller structure for little kids and a larger structure for bigger kids. My 2 year old wished he was big enough for the big kid side, especially the zipline type feature.

Very nice place for the Allen peoples, sports, jogging, cycling, water surfing, in front of Allen Library. Sometimes there os some events also. Love this place.

Great running trails, sights to see, places to take nice photos, the wakeboard parks cool, skate park is super safe, and senior garden is lovely and available to see while walking.

Nice place for a leisurely stroll. Wide paths give room for everyone to pass by easily. Near the dam there are many historical placards to read up on Alien.

Allen Station Park truly is a hidden gem! I was riding around Allen with my cousin and other family, when my cousin says, lets go to the dam, he then turns into an industrial parking lot and parks. After a short walk down a concrete path we were in the park. As this was an unplanned trip, I was wearing flip flops and was not prepared to hike, though the short one we did to the tracks was great. I would love to go back to Allen Station Park better prepared & really get to explore it.

Havent been here since I was a teenager. Had a ton of fun playing street hockey here, now that Im old. Very clean and well lit. Close by coyotes this evening though, creepy howls and yips!

Great scenery ..

Beautiful place for young people to enjoy outdoor skating activities. Was in the Dallas area and my son stopped over for an overnight lock-in and he had mad fun. It situated in a decent neighborhood also. Highly recommended.

The play facilities at this park are fantastic for kids if multiple ages. There is no parking nearby, so you will have to park and walk aways to get there. There are also no restroom facilities, so that is a problem for families with young children. It is close to a street, so vigilance is important to keep young ones safe from cars.

Me and my daughter, absolutely love this place. Ducks, bikes, skipping rocks, fishing, running, playing, or walking. Fun place to be a kid.

This is a great part for the kids theres a park in the middle where the kids can play and they have rings that they can swing across and monkey bars so if your kids training for Ninja warrior its a great place to come

We love these fields. I have a son in baseball and a daughter in softball. The fields are kept up nice. The bathrooms are great. The concessions are nice. The parking lot gets a little crazy when it is busy on Saturdays. The playground in-between the fields is awesome for Littles.

Great park for kids, pets, activities... everything! They have enormous wide-open expanses of grass for team sports, a fantastic, modern playground for children, and a really cool water splash park in the summer time. We love to come here as often as we can.

This park is great for parties or whatever you like to plan plenty of playground and open space. Seating is good if you are reading while kids are playing. I dont think Ive seen this place dirty. Nice little wooded area on the parkground. Does get a bit windy it was hard to light some candles when we were there.

Great indoor swimming for whole family. You can have birthday parties there. Have an infant area, a lazy river, and competitive swim area all in one place.
