Thought the fact that Mr.Bontemps fathers oldest brother married into the Metoyer family which are descendents of the builders of Melrose Plantation Mansion in Natchez Ms( which was owned by a free black man) was really awesome having now seen both places

I cant really rate it because they were closed when we got there...

Loved learning about the history of the house and Arna Bontemps himself
