My husband and I decided to cut up our long drive by stopping by this location. Their online bookings and friendly staff were easy and accommodating!! Mike was our instructor and he made it so we stayed safe while keeping it fun!! I HIGHLY recommend to give them at least an hour of your time!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Very easy to reserve a lane, just go to the website and follow the directions, then show up and theyll be ready for you. They teach you different ways to throw the ax and are very supportive! I was having trouble at first and one of the staff suggested holding the ax a different way and what do you know, it worked much better for me. Thanks for being a fun and helpful staff!

I love axe throwing at The Lazy Axe. The excellent team there makes sure that everyone learns how to throw safely and is having fun. Ive brought friends here on multiple occasions and everyone has had a ton of fun. Its empowering to go from never having touched an axe before to being able to sink it in the board. Ive joined the axe throwing league as well and love the community and family that Ive found. Definitely come try axe throwing out for yourself!

This is a really great time. I have participated in axe throwing before and it is honestly such a great answer for the “We’re getting together with friends/family/combining people who maybe don’t know each other very well, what do we do?” dilemma, so I was really excited when I saw we finally had somewhere local to go. The Lazy Axe exceeded all expectations.The setup is pretty straightforward - you walk in, check in at the front and go right to a lane where you start with your session with an Axepert guiding the process. We were shown a few different variations on how to throw, played games and even attempted to learn trick shots. The Axeperts were friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and adaptive to our party. We had a mix of people who were open to trying it out and apprehensive about being asked to throw an axe, and by the end of the hour everyone was actively participating and having a lot of fun.As far as COVID precautions are concerned, everything is wiped down before you start your session and after you finish up, there is hand sanitizer available on all the tables, everyone is wearing a mask and the floor plan is spaced out so you’re not on top of other groups.We will definitely be returning!

Had a great time! We were the only two in the place so it was pretty quiet, could easily see it rocking when full up. The staff was great showed us several techniques and took time to help us dial in our throws. Once we had it down they guided us through several fun games and trick shots all while keeping a fun banter and having a good time. Plenty of hand sanatizer and everyone wore a mask so the enviroment felt safe as well.We will definetly be back with friends and I couldnt recommend The Lazy Axe more!

Ive been looking into an axe throwing place for awhile. I compared pricing for a one hour session with other places in the area and The Lazy Axe was less expensive at $23/hr per person when purchased ahead of time so I decided to go there. My experience was amazing. I was greeted right away, signed the waiver and got started with my session. Our axe-pert was very helpful and informative with a safety spiel, showing us different ways to throw the axe and playing games once we were comfortable. I had so much fun and it was also a pretty good workout. The staff were very friendly and encouraging. I would absolutely come back again!

We had the pleasure of bringing our staff for an incredible outing with the crew at Lazy Axe. Mark & Kristyn were helpful, knowledgeable, and so much fun to throw with! Our entire team had an awesome time, culminating in a tournament that pit each and everyone of us in a round-robin style format. We brought a trophy for the winner, and it was so much fun! I would highly recommend this as a company outing, or if you just want to have some fun with a newer activity. Great job Lazy Axe, we will be back!!

This place is AMAZING!!! Not only did they accommodate me and my party on a day they are normally closed. But the second I set foot inside I was welcomed and everyone in my party had a wonderful time.I know there are a few axe throwing venues in the area, but this one has my vote. My daughter picked this place. She has never done anything like it before.Amazing people, with an honest and pleasant talent for teaching. We were greeted with a smile, and throwing axes with in 10 minutes.(it would have been sooner, but we arrived a bit early). The time just flew, as did the axes. We will return with friends. I was a bit skeptical but this was a GREAT time and an unexpected workout lol. The guide assigned to our group, I believe his name was Christopher was very clear about the rules and instructions and gave tips and pointers, he also had a good sense of humor.Will definitely return for more Axe throwing!!Also, pretty cool to brag about throwing an axe .

Went for a company Team Building night. We had sooo much fun!! I would highly recommend this place for Team Building, First Date or just to have some fun with friend. The owner and the staff were very pleasant and definitely enhanced the time we were there. LOVED IT!!!

Tons of fun at this place. Friend had a birthday here and they ran it really well. Split us into teams, had us play some organized games, taught us some throws, and helped us with technique. Would definitely recommended.

We had a blast! The staff is so helpful and our instructor (axepert) was a great teacher. Mark went above and beyond to teach our group proper technique. Our group contained 9 people ranging in age from 13-22 with all different skill levels and he managed to instruct and encourage all. I highly recommend The Lazy Axe for a fun outing!

Visited The Lazy Axe today for the first time and we absolutely loved it!! Had a great time and were axepertly led by Ben who was very friendly and helpful. Everyone in our group agreed we are definitely going back.

Lots of fun! Good for small groups. The guides (Axeperts) were fun and helpful for how to throw and ran some games, similar to darts games. Recommend to try out. Leagues available if interested in longer term play. About $23 each for our group.

We had family in town for the Thanksgiving weekend and decided to try this place out. Well let me tell you, We LOVED it! We had so much fun and so many laughs, it was absolutely fantastic! The staff was fantastic, too.

I took my staff to The Lazy Axe for staff bonding and we had an excellent time! It was fun and it was great to engage with one another for a couple of hours without work stress. Our Axepert was knowledgeable and kept the entire team engaged. The facility was clean and we felt comfortable throughout the event.

Didnt know what to expect. Had such a fun time with my family. We laughed a lot and cheered each other on. There was a little competition going on too. LolGreat that we were shown how to throw the axe and the owner was with us along the way. Definitely recommend and I would do it again.

I went to the Lazy Axe with my close friend. We are both fairly fit and were able to find success. The people working there were SO nice. Our Axepert (I guess that’s what the instructors are called) was super nice and friendly, so shout-out to Nick! We played games and probably threw the axe about 60-70 times. Only two people in a group can go at a time, and it would be boring to watch, so probably don’t go with a bunch of people. 10/10 recommend this for a really fun learning experience.

Honestly, I was nervous at first with the idea, but was really happy I went. It was a nice work outing. The folks from the store were really into the sport. Their training lessons and no-pressure environment made it a truly enjoyable activity, even for the uncoordinated (of which I count myself).

We visited for a group event and to my surprise were assigned two staff members who helped make sure every group member was safe and could throw an axe successfully, then led us in some friendly competition. The facility is bright and comfortable with lots of parking, the staff are really friendly, and axe throwing is lots of fun.

I had my birthday there and it was great, Mark (Marc?) was amazingly helpful and energetic and really helped with a positive energy. He was also really informative and fun to talk to about his process to get this place up and running. I live up in lake George and will gladly make the trip down again for a night as fun as it was tonight.

I emailed The Lazy Axe around 10am about making a reservation for later in the evening. Even though their business hours dont start until 4pm I still got a response from them in less than half an hour. I was able to make my reservation online and it was quick and easy.Once there they set us up with and Axepert who not only went over the rules but helped us learn how to throw so it stuck and walked us through tips for a better throw. We played a few scoring games and at one point or another with the Axeperts guidance were each able to hit a bullseye on the target. We had a blast!I highly recommend this place - super fun, good energy and awesome staff. Looking forward to going again soon!
