This is a favorite for me. My son and I go there quite often when we want to go somewhere thats not as crowded as parks in town tend to be. They have some nice trails as well. Lots of spaces to play different things, workout, or just meditate and cloud watch. We love it!
We are very happy with the park. The smaller children enjoy the playground which is big enough for about 10-15 kids at a time. Numerous garbage cans for trash and a bunch of nice trails for walking, hiking, or riding bikes. Havent tried fishing the pond yet, but see families on the dock or on boats in the water. Bathrooms are fairly clean, but not very big. Its nice that there is a facility on site though thats central to many of the areas. Nice covered areas for picnics or gatherings.
Rock solid disc golf course. Generally in the woods with some nice open holes at the end of the front nine. Mostly Par 3. Come prepared to climb and sweat. Beginning of the course is hilly.
Great disc golf course. Great place to enjoy nature
Boyd Pond Park us a well maintained county park in a relatively undeveloped part of the county. It features a nice disc golf course as well as a large fishing lake. If off the road bicycling is your passion then this is the place for you. Miles and miles of trails of various terrain from relatively easy to murderous.
We had a great time an the view was great looking across the pong from where we were
Quiet part, starting to get overgrown, the trees are taking over the viewing spot. With a little work, this would be a perfect.
Beautiful disc golf course.
So peaceful!! Whether you are hiking or biking, this park is wonderful!
Expansive, beautiful, well-shaded park with trails galore and plenty of parking
I didnt get a chance to explore all of it, but I really like what I saw. The scenery is beautiful. The trails are ok for bikes and well marked. Plenty of picnic tables. No charge.
Very peaceful place to let a toddler run and play. Our kid wasnt impressed with the playground for long. Fishing is permitted. Restrooms next to the parking lot were open and as clean as institutionalized concrete decor can be.
Great place to walk trails
Its so peaceful and beautiful! Great place to take children to fish, hike, and play on the playground.
Hidden gem, right in the Aiken area but away from all the traffic. Theres a playground, tons of walking/biking trails, room to play sports and bathrooms available for use however, they are spread out pretty far and wide but I absolutely enjoy it here! Definitely worth a stop. Bring bug spray, water and a handheld fanning device for extra comfort! Enjoy!
I bring my dogs to this park all the time. We love the nature trail. Fishing is okay here, probably better towards the middle. The bike trails look incredible, havent tried them. My dog likes wading in the water off the nature trail.
Nice park with a pretty lakeMy son was there running cross country for his high school. It looks like a great place for a family picnic.
Good little hidden fishing spot but desperately needs to be restocked.
Nice park. The Psyco Trail is a must try feature! On Saturday no workers can be found, the office is closed, and no one answers the phone. None of the toilets worked. One was steadily running and flooding around the male restroom.
Best disc golf course in the area! Entire course is always kept very clean, and there are a variety of shots and layouts. Generally, the course is 9 holes in the woods and 9 holes out in fields. The pond and trails are beautiful as well. Its a great fishing spot!
A shaded walk through the woods on a warm summer day is just a couple miles away. Great place to relax. The Bike trail could use some attention, but check it out if you are in the area.
Nice little place, but a little crowded once you take socail distancing in to account
Great place for bikes and kayaks.
Great disc golf course, bike riding, small pond fishing, small boat ramp (no gas powered boats), and nice playground with walking trail
Beautiful park! I love hiking the trail while my boyfriend disc golfs.
I played a disc golf tournament at the course there and it was alot of fun. Many varying types of shots to have fun with and they have taken very good care of the course. Uphill, downhill, left to right and right to left. It is a gem to play on. Watch for snakes during the spring g and summer.
Great disc golf course. Dress light in warm weather (no breeze). Mostly shaded.
Clean and well done. Short but fun disc golf couse.
Disc golf course there is great.
Love to go and just soak up Nature. No facilities just a porta John right now.
The whole family had an awesome time. The bathrooms is a little far for some of the seniors but its a great place for families gathering.
I love this place for my kids!
Quite park with a good walking trail, disk golf, soccer and multi use fields. Fishing is allowed. Hidden gem.
Pretty place. Good facilities. Good park area with playground and volleyball area. NO FISH....
I love this park! Its peaceful, clean and perfect for family outings or couples just walking and spending time together. Its beautiful!!
Fun easy course with a good flow and good mixture of woods and open shots. Also a good course for beginners and folks who arePlaying there to build confidence.
Nice nature trail
Excellent disc golf course. mostly short to midrange length holes.
Very nice place took my girlfriend there took a good walk
Not a lot of fish, pond over grown with grass and weeds this time of year.
Great family place fish kayak cook out kids play fish
Nice place to go if you like walking paths, walking animals and fishing.
Very clean, nice secluded area within close proximity of the highway
Would like to see the park cleaned up. Meaning all th fallen branches and trees on the wooded areas. Nice place to just go for a walk.
I love coming here because it is pretty!
Nice just need a little maintenance
Fishing not the best, not a bit
My boys absolutely love this place
Just moved here from Pennsylvania and this reminded me of a spot I used to take the kids to up north. The biggest difference is this spot is more quiet and peaceful which was a nice surprise. I am really impressed with the hiking and fishing spots, the kids loved the playground, and I couldnt believe all of the different types of birds that call Boyd Pond Park home. Beautiful spot for family time or alone time.
Lot of fun! Well kept. Short less challenging course.
A forgotten park. Nice place for a hike or a picnic.
Great trails to run or put a couple of mountain bike loops in on. At about 6 miles it may not be the mileage everyone is looking for, but some short punchy climbs and tight corners make it a fun workout. Park has a playground, fishing, softball fields and a disc golf course across the street.
Went to the disc golf course. Grass was freshly mowed and course was in good condition.
Boyd Pond Disc Golf Course sits in my Top 3 disc golf courses to play within the CSRA. This course has been well groomed everytime that Ive gone out to play. It is so much fun to play, and yes there is some trekking between a few of the holes, but this course is definitely worth the trek I my book!
Very nice spot to just sit and relax you can take the kids on a walk out in the country nice place to go fishing
Awesome disc golf course plays well and quick.
From ball fields to a 2 mile nature trail (5 mile biking trail) to a frisbee golf course...this gem of a park has something for everyone. Run by the county now, used to be affiliated with SRP.
Beautiful, large park.
This is a nice peaceful park thats great for those days when I like to get away from the main areas of town.
My fishin bestie and I went out there today and was not impressed. Water level was down, caught more turtles than fish. And those were about the size of a deck of cards. I didnt think this was a great place for fishing.
The gates on the outfall need to be closed until we get some rain. The pond is extremely to low.
Beautiful and serene, didnt get one bite though. Still beautiful!
One of my favorite disc golf courses in the CSRA. Shorter holes, but they are fun to play. Basically half of it is in the woods challenging you to thread the needle. The other half is out in the open allowing you to throw the disc however you so choose to get to the basket. This course is definitely a hidden gem, and everytime Ive gone it is very well manicured. The most cars Ive ever counted out there was five. Its usually nice and quiet, allowing you to focus on your game, and not on outside distractions. Disc on, and enjoy folks!
Pond is over run with plant life
This is one of my favorite spots in the county to come walk and enjoy the views.
Fish not biting anything
Fantastic park! This was my first time there and we had fun! Great nature trails and playground.
The place was OK as walking nature trails which dogs and your family the fishing and other hand was not good at all No fish to be called
Beautiful place to relax and unwind. Not great for fishing.
Very nice and clean place to take kids.
A very quiet place to have nice family fun. I went and played disc golf there, great coarse!
One of our favorite places to visit in Aiken.
Great place for walking my dogs!
Awesome place
Very nice, very quiet, awesome fishing! Loved it!!!
Very nice and peaceful
Nice location to have a picnic or small gathering of family or friends.
Didnt know it was even there. Looks great.
Small but nice and quiet good disc golf course
Amazing disc golf course, and nice walking trails around a beautiful big pond.
Beautiful park to take a family photo by the lake!
Grandkids love it
Nice place for family picnic . Walking trails, playground, field for soccer or football.
I love this place is a nice quiet getaway and the recent addition of a frisbee golf park is welcomed
Nice little area
