Great little spot to take the kids to jump in the water in this hot summer days, fishing is pretty good, and you can also drop a kayak or a canoe, the water is pretty clear and some areas are very shallow

More commonly known as Cat Beach by the locals, this is a really cool place to have hidden off of River Rd. I’ve enjoyed coming and having many a beer over the last few years. It can be a tranquil little spot overlooking the bustling Springfield downtown area, and if you’re lucky you may get to enjoy a bon fire!

Great little Park situated on the Connecticut River honestly do not even know it was there, but was pleasantly surprised

Very scenic view of downtown Springfield but beware there is lots of trash around. I frequently come across used condoms and needles wile here.

Not a bad place to fish, just dont go around at night. Too many people drinking and yelling and harrassing people that walk by them.

Nice little rest stop ...walk down short paved path to get to rivers edge to fish, there are also picknic tables to sit at ...plus a poke stop for those who play Pokemon go lol

Was quiet and peaceful theres only two other fishermen there

Its a neat experience to walk down to the rivers edge near the exact spot others did heading to the ferry in a bygone era.
