We love this park. The statues are incredible. The park is small enough that kids can run around without parents losing sight or tough with them, yet large enough that the kids feel free.

What a cool park and a great little city. Storybook character and quotes everywhere. Definitely stop here.

What a great place to see and listen to. Loved it

Went exploring using the app randonautica and ended up here. Nice to throw everything aside and just do something different so me and my more significant other entered a vague description of something that we wanted to see and it gives us GPS coordinates and voila! We end up here and had to call 911 because a person was walking down the street screaming the prophetic return of the messiah which was scaring people on the street. We found (in a way) what we were looking for then drove out to Anson to go see the Anson lights which if you dont know is a ghost story where the ghost of a mother using a lantern responds to you flashing your headlights 3 times from a cross roads thinking it was her children needing help (but she was to late and her children were dead by the time she arrived) beautiful at night with no city lights, its amazing what we can see without distractions, everyone should get out of their comfort zone every once in a while.

Beautiful place. However the foundation water is green. There is a smell of human excrement closer to the bridge. A homeless man was washing himself in the fountain and we arrived and then he laid on the bench.

Super cute statues all over. You do have to walk to find a lot of the statues through town, but there is a central garden that is small, but really pretty. It was fun for my little family to search for a statue and then name the character.

Wonderful little park featuring sculptures of the beloved Dr. Suess characters! There is a fountain along with benches to relax and enjoy. Cute little place.

I am so proud that Abilene has chosen to renovate and showcase our historic downtown, especially during the holidays. Its quite lovely to see families exploring and enjoying time together, capturing these moments in pictures and video.

My kids and I thought this was wicked cool w/the Dr. Seuss statues. WAY smaller than expected. Cute lil park MINUS the unfriendly man smoking cigarettes on the bench w/his sleeping bag and then (possibly) brushing his teeth and spitting as we looked at the water fountain...

Nice little park. The statues are neat for the kids to look at and the fountain is beautiful. Only problem is the homeless population likes to sleep in the bushes by the railroad tracks. If you play Pokemon Go, there are several gyms and stops in the park and several more close by.

The park is small but has dr suess stuff throughout. The fountain foamy. Parking said it was limited to 15 minutes. The dr suess statues were difficult to read. It seems like it would be fun if it was clearer.

The statues are good for the kids to look at and the fountain is beautiful.

These wonderful metal sculptures are interesting to both adults and children just a bit harder to keep the kids in tow running from one to the other as they recognize the characters,, kids recognized the stories depicted and loved interacting

The statues were remarkably accurate and pretty cool. The plaques were faded and covered with dirt though.

Also: This park has multiple pokestops and gyms, its great for pokemon go, youre likely to run into other players here.This is an itty bitty little park. However, if youre downtown with kids, its a great place to swing by and rest a minute. Its full of Dr Seuss statues and has a large, pretty fountain. During the summer months, the trees are lit with christmas lights, its quite nice.
