Ok for a night. We were there early September 2020 for a night. Park was mostly empty. Got to our spot, unhooked, then found out we didnt have power. The fuse was broken on the power box. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. After driving all day the thought of moving to another spot was not appealing. But we made the best of things.

Loved this park. Along with the usual activities like bingo and cards, this park brings in outside talents for a reasonably priced evening out. Every Saturday you enjoy the $3 breakfast. On Sundays is the ice cream social.

Paradise in Yuma. Beautifully kept park, with easy access to major roadways. Amenities in good condition, staff are friendly. Many seasonal residents make it tough to connect when youre a short timer.

Desert Paradise is an Encore park just East of Yuma. We found it to be a very pleasant stay. Like most parks of this type it is a mix of (mostly) park model trailers and temporary visitors like ourselves. Overall very clean and neat, with acceptable amenities (nice laundry, pool, wi-fi by Jabba but no on-site store/shop). There are lots of nearby shopping for food and easy access propane and diesel fueling off-site nearby. The standout here was the staff. Exceptionally friendly and helpful, they were also very quick to resolve a problem we encountered with our 50amp power post. It was fixed within 2-3 hours (while we shopped) even though this was early AM and theyd had to bring in a contractor. It is an older park but well maintained. The only downside was, as an older park, the sites were a bit narrow, though our motorhome DID fit, with our large slide it was tight. We heartily recommend Desert Paradise and would stay there again if we are in the area.

Staff needs to work on their ppl skills. And. Be more. Plesent when speaking to guest also dont tell an rv owner there rig is smaller than the site they booked unless you are the one making the payment on it the guy who leads you to your site is a very aragant person. We wont be back here ever again unless under new staff

Good amenities but lacking pool lounge chairs and evening functions.2019 updateIn the past 2 years the acting manager had the corporate office finally invest some money into pool chairs and other park upgrades. There is still work to be done. Unfortunately, the manager that actually put effort into the park is no longer employed here. Only time will tell if this RV park will continue to be revived or decline again.

Wonderful resort tucked into a corner off the I-8 frontage road in Yuma. Most RV resorts in Yuma are right on the frontage road to the highway making them noisy and congested. The amenities are plentiful and attended by most of the customers as well as those from neighboring resorts.I highly recommend this resort to fellow RVers especially those belonging to the Thousand Trails members.

Initial impression: Positive and a neat place to park my RV for a week or so.Yes - if youre a train fan, the Santa Fe passes about 100 yards north of RV park. And, if your aviation/airplane aficionado, location is less than 2 miles off the north end of Yuma Marine Corp and International airport.Thereafter, Desert Paradise is a quality 5 star RV Resort. Though it is rather old, new ownership has invested to upgrade, expand services, and improve your overall experience. Kathy and the office staff are both personable, friendly, and competent. Theyll find an answer for almost any question. The park is mostly snowbirds in both RV and park models; well laid out, scenic with trimmed trees along each street. Space #s are painted in LARGE numbers - most helpful at night hookup.Residents are really open, friendly, and helpful. Theres an upbeat, positive mood and ambiance around the park. Lots of bicycles ridding by. There are daily activities to choose from; also evening programs with visiting entertainers; tickets are usually $7/person. FREE cable TV is a plus.Their FREE Wifi is only in the Library, behind the office; however it is strong and theres room to bring your laptop.Staying a week and perhaps will extend. Definitely will return.

Older RV Resort. Swimming Pool & hot tub. Shuffle board & horseshoe pit. Paved streets. Very narrow spaces. Very few 50 amp spaces. Mix of RVs and Park Models. Nothing very special.

The staffs are really nice, the site is really clean, they even provide cable TV, everything is good until you are wakeuped almost every hour by TRAIN. Its 12:35am Christmas night, I really hope its last train pass here. Ohhhh god, I really want to blow the track away.
