I can not recommend this enough. The host/employee was fun and engaged, the building was super cool and the Asylum room was tough AF. We had a blast and will be back soon!

Did the insane asylum room, it was awesome!! Much much more than meets the eye! If you think youve seen all there is to see, stop, look and listen. Then stop look and listen again. Our group of 4 didnt solve the room, they recommend 6 at least, but we had a blast,... extremely detailed puzzles so pay attention! We are trying the vampire room next.

Awesome first experience lots of fun

I had a lot of fun I loved the way to room was set up and liked it all I got such a warm welcome when I first came in overall this is the best escape room I’ve ever done

Super fun!! It was mine and my husband first escape room (potions escape) and we had such a good time! Would definitely recommend more than 2 people going though!!

We went with only 2 people. The staff was super nice and gave us plenty of hints. We ended up not being able to complete it, but we have a ton of fun!

Made a reservation for our group of 4 individuals. Upon arrival we were informed we were being grouped with 3 other people. Not something wed been informed of ahead of time. Kinda awkward being in a small room with three additional people youve never met in your life, especially when the point of an escape room is working together. This resulted with a bit of chaos.We did the potion room and didnt end up escaping, in a large part due to the hokey puzzle designs. Between it not being clear where noises were coming for some things as well as having to brute force a couple of things, and some puzzle solutions just didnt work the first time.These were at times addressed by the staff chiming in over the room intercom suggesting to try something again, but that really takes away from the immersion.My feeling here is that if youre going to be in the business of escape rooms then the solutions to puzzles need to work the first time. People arent generally going to keep trying to do the same thing while expecting different results.This was my groups first escape room experience and while we havent completely written them off, I dont think well be back to Escape Boardman for the reasons listed above.

Best time of my life. A must for the a group of 4 or more. Heads up there very serious about the no picture policy. Just putting that out there, kinda caught me off guard. But I had the time of my life, cant wait to do it again.

Excellent team building and mental exercise

This was such an AWESOME experience! If you are into puzzles you simply cannot pass up the opportunity to do this. The escape room was far more elaborate than I had expected and was non-stop fun! The 4 of us solved the room with 30 seconds left on the timer, so be prepared for a challenge. They are in the process of building a new Harry Potter room that we got to take a quick peek at. IT IS GOING TO BE EPIC!!!!!

I went and did the Vampire room with my family of 9, for my daughters 16th birthday. None of us had done an escape room before. It WAS challenging! But, the staff kept it interesting for us for our entire time! We ALL had a blast. I would recommend it, and I will be going back again someday. Awesome experience!

So much fun! Do yourself a favor and go to the escape room! Its fun, its exciting... We had a blast! If I could give it more Stars I would!!!

There were 8 of us (2 adults and 6 children) of varying ages and skill sets. The experience is reminiscent of games such as MYST or the escape room apps on iOS and android. You are trapped in a room and are given clues and tools to escape in one hour. It is not at all scary in a horrifying way. It is a mystery in the true sense. It was great and I recommend for anyone.
