Visited during the Ghost Trolley event and was blown away. They had done a great job with keeping it interesting for even the youngest child. Very informative and super fun! Will definitely visit again!
This small museum makes the best of what it has been able to obtain. You can take a short trolly ride and see an authentic and one of a kind steam locomotive. The admission is reasonable but the museum is in need of donations and funds in order to grow. If people will keep up funding they may be able to restore the incredible steam engine they have to run again. It is still enjoyable in its current state and the friendly staff always try to give the best experience.
Short ride on trolley was fun, but lots of sitting and waiting while other groups move from car to car hearing stories. The storytellers are definitely not actors lol but do the best they can, and seem to enjoy it. Not scary at all so it is great for small kids.
This place was awesome. Liked to get up close and personal with such history that built this country.
If you like learning about the history of trains, especially steam engines, then you will enjoy this.
I enjoyed my visit. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Its small, but i believe staff does a great job packing it full of interesting exhibits. I liked the train ride. This is a fun adventure on a lazy Sunday.
Very good comparing with the resources they got. Very dedicated volunteers running the whole service.
Pretty neat place. A lot further behind on restoration than I had expected but still worth the visit.
A small but very informative train museum. It appears to be ran completely by volunteers so that’s why the museum has limited hours.Yes the some of the trains appeared to be in disrepair but it’s because they rely heavily on donations/volunteer work to restore them.We attended during one of their Saturday holiday events and enjoyed it. My daughter and I really enjoyed the trains. We especially enjoyed the 30 minute ride down the line and back in a old train car.Highly recommend this place for the train enthusiast in your life or for kids. Be sure to check their website for hours and special events.
Sone pics from last year and some from this! Its a great place!!And such nice staff!
Small place but jam packed with neat stuff. The trolley ride is short but well worth it. We were lucky enough to catch a passing NS freight and they stopped so we could watch it.
Kinda cute. Very kid friendly
The Volunteer team that staffs the Museum does a wonderful job with their guests. While the equipment is not all prisine, it provides a wonderful trip back to the era when railroads provided the romance. I love the place.
Trolley rides and great train cars to walk through
For train enthusiast, great display of authentic rail-mail car and much more.
Absolutely amazing! I skipped nap time for a 1 and 3 yr old to try this out, and any parent of a toddler will understand how sketchy a decision that could be. It was completely worth it!! I have never seen a place with a friendlier (volunteer) staff. Every single person we interacted with was happy, talkative, informative and friendly. Not a single bad part to the entire experience. My boys were thrilled about the entire thing. Getting to ring the bell on #2 and blow the whistle as we left the train after our ride was incredible for my oldest.
Really neat spot to visit in Worthington for history and trains. Explore on your own. Good ticket price and you can take a train ride.
Took a ride on an old Streetcar. One of the last ones in Columbus. Have a nice time.
My kids love it!
Lots of interesting stuff. Fun to go.Neat people there.
Id say the museum is a work in progress because theyre still restoring trains. However they do have a train ride and several cars to explore.
Very informative train museum but the staffs are not aroachable
It was ok overall, but could have been better. I took my son and he liked most of it. However, he is sensitive to sound and really hated the loud horn on the train ride. While I understand sounding the horn is necessary for safety when starting off or at a grade crossing, the operator sounded it much more than needed. Then at the end of the ride, despite the workers seeing my son holding his ears looking upset, they encouraged other kids to come up and sound the horn more as we tried to leave but were held up by the crowd. Not a friendly place for anyone with sensory issues, so we probably wont return.
We had a brithday party for a 3 year old here. He was blown away. The staff was amazing and the museum informative and fun.
It is small but if you like trains. It is worth the visit. They have short train rides. It is only open on Sundays from 12:00 to 4:00.
Not open until May 2020. Disappointing theyre not open as the website says
The Ohio Railway Museum is a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The exhibits can use some TLC to spruce them up a bit, but are educational and diverse. The train ride was short but fun, and the volunteers are all super friendly and enthusiastic about telling the story of Ohios railroad past.
Volunteers were very friendly and helpful, the train ride was lots of fun
This is a fun hidden jem for little train lovers. You get to ride the train. It doesnt go far and the ride isnt long, but its still super cool.Only open on Sundays but worth checking out.
They were entertaining with the haunted trolley.
Perfect for children...or Adults....who love nerding-out about trains
Went here for the Halloween event. Its pretty fun. The Halloween event was geared towards little kids and they did the best they could with the funds they have and with the help of volunteers. Its worth it to give these guys the money (its not expensive at all) just too keep part of the history going.
This is a super cool museum! The volunteers are great, full of great information and fantastic personalities. They are completely voluntary guides and you can tell they love what they do! This is a must stop in Central Ohio! Thank you for your time and for keeping a wonderful tradition going!!!!
I loved the ghost trolley this year. They have changed things up! It was perfect; just the right amount of scary for my 4 yr old.
My first visit.awsome.
Woah! Volunteers were nice!
Always a good time riding and veiwing the trains and trolleys. My kids all love it 6.5, 4 and 1.5. Was disappointed to see an empty Thomas track for kids to play with, sign with bring or own train or buy one (that does not fit) in our gift shop.
We took our 2 year old because he is obsessed with trains. It was fabulous. The volunteers were so nice. It was a fun little ride back and forth on the track and the train cars were so much fun to walk through
Great train/trolley/bus ride ever!
Very nice little museum. Great for kids. Thanks for volunteers who help running this place.
Nice way to spend a few hours really nice people. Not that big but every dime they get goes into fixing what they have and some day making it bigger....
Fun place to see functioning history lesson. I would highly recommend riding the train it is very fun.
It was cold when we went, which made it less fun. Some interesting trains to walk through. A volunteer provides information. Train ride is available multiple times in the day if you plan it right.
Grandson loved it.
Very small and unorganized. Poor condition of exhibits but they need donations to get restorations done.
Really fun. Kids loved riding the train
The look on my boys eyes when they find out they get to ride a real train priceless... And the Yong man Jake who was very nice and explained things to us without a rush out of the yard....I want to volunteer time a worthy place to support
I set up a field trip for my homeschool group and Im so glad I did! Id never been here before, so I wasnt quite sure what to expect. Our tour guide was Ethan and he did a great job with everything from answering questions to engaging the kids (and adults). The tour was first followed be a train ride. It was during the train ride that we learned that everyone there volunteered. I hadnt planned on letting my kids pick something to buy, but after finding out that they were all volunteers and they donated their time, I knew my money was going to a great cause to support further restorations, etc. Im so glad we went. We all had a blast! Thank you so much Ohio Railway!!
Everyone was very nice and very helpful. They knew what they were doing and talking about. Will go back for sure
Friendly staff and knowledgeable
A work in progress but a great cause and a great group of volunteers that make it happen. If you like old iron stop on by.
Fun to do with family!
I absolutely loved it, I even got to board a train and ride it!
Great fun!
Awesome place to take kids that love trains, my boys had a blast. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable.
Thought would be a proper big museum but instead was a just a yard of trains with not a lot of information. And just a small train ride.
It is the best thing that will have your mind fasnation
Nice place to visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon. My 7 yr old loved it.
Interesting place to spend a Sunday afternoon. Train ride was fun and informative.
Weve gone on over 20 rides in the past couple of years, the staff really makes it fun, great ride for children
So nice to take a quick ride and to walk through old rail cars
This is a great little historical spot it is not very handicapped friendly. If you have trouble climbing stairs do not try to take the train ride.
Pretty neat. Not too many trains to view and ride is very quick.
Easy fun day with kids
This place is pretty interesting, although Im not sure how much you would get out of it unless you were into trains.
I found the ORM a great place to visit with friendly informative people to answer your questions.
Neat to see and hear and touch and ride history about trains.
Great for kids. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff!
It was okay. Nothing much to see. Super friendly staff and funny
Fantastic
Always great fun
Great for the little ones...had a good time
Love it, wish i could give them more money!
Nice destination for train enthusiast and families. Facility is not wheelchair accessible.
I like going to the Ohio Railway Museum.
Our 3 year old LOVED it
Disappointed in the schedule and need to take care of equipment better.
Cheap ticket and professional staff. Good experience!
People are rude, not handicapped accessible.
Well worth your time.
Great for little kids.
Volunteers were very nice.
Great place for kids who love trains!!
Small but very friendly
Small, ride a train that is about it.
Great experience for the price
Fun for family of all ages

Quaint fun for the family.
