End of September 2020 and there was a chain across the parking lot and so for all practical purposes it was closed. :(

Off season its a great place to take the dog for a swim. But peak season its a horrible place for people swimming. I tried to go for a swim on a cloudy day, no one was at the beach so the lifeguard was bored and would not allow me to go outside the children area. I went over to the boat launch and she followed me and blew her whistle anytime my feet touched the water. Im an experienced swimmer and understand that I swim at my own risk if Im out of designated children area but she was yelling and screaming and blowing her whistle so aggressively that I felt that shed steal my shoes and towel if just ignored her.

We had a blast here. Its perfect for my family. Close to home only downfall is its small and cant have a ton of people on the beach

It actually really nice here. New bath house plenty of room n large grass areas where ypu can grill. But need own grills

I give it three stars because it lacks order, people play very loud music, they drink alcohol, they smoke and nobody controls that ... the place is beautiful and the lake is good for children ... but there is too much disorder.

Great place for the family on a hot summer day or even a cool summer evening! Doesnt get to crowded and water and beach area is kept nice and clean

This is a nice clean park right in the middle of Worcester. There is a beach house with facilities. Its clean, has plenty of parking and I would encourage anyone looking for a nice, quiet and relaxing spot to go. It is also, free.

Wasnt really here. Got pulled over by a Worcester cop in front of the little picnic area. But seemed really clean. Its kept up by the students at Bancroft. Id reccomend it if youre in the area and dont have a YMCA membership. Youve got little grills a nice little grass area, a parking area, and if I saw correctly, it looked like you had bathrooms as well

Water was clean and warm. With bathroom and life guards. Great for families

Beautiful spot .. no charge to park .. only downfall is bathrooms are locked sometimes, so you have to find other locations for the kids to pee..

Very clean and update since the renovation. Sometimes some riff Raff but a safe place in general. Police detail here on weekends thru summer

There is very little space to really do anything and the construction that is going on really limits the little space there. Once construction is done, it could be a great spot to have little outings.

Would be way better if they could keep it clean, but thats a problem with all the Worcester parks. Luckily the beach itself is pretty clean.
