Green Hill Park

I played golf and the course is beautiful. Greens and fairways are in great shape. This is a gem of a public golf course right in the middle of Worcester. The outside dining here is on the raised deck that wraps around the clubhouse with gorgeous views of the pond, rolling hills and fabulous sunsets. If you have to dine outside this ambiance enhances the experience. Food is great also with g luten free options. Love it!

Beautiful, sightseeing can be done nearly anywhere within this park and it’s an amazing spot to take friends to for a good time.

Green Hill Park is so big and beautiful. This is a great place to go for a walk, run, bike ride, birthday party, take your dog for a walk, or a nice peaceful picnic. They also have the Vietnam memorial which is beautiful, its big tall rocks that have letters from soldiers to their loved ones carved in the rocks that you can read and the rocks surround a beautiful pond. They also have a place with farm animals. If you have never been here you need to visit it because it is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful.

Green Hill Park is one of Worcesters jewels. Most of the grounds are rolling lawn, great for taking a stroll, having a picnic, flying a kite, etc.There are several picnic tables in good condition, and a wonderful old pavilion for larger events. Playground for the little ones.There is also a farm on site, closed currently due to covid, but when open, a good spot to bring the kids to meet some animals.The Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans Memorial is here, and is worth visiting. What a powerful place.

Beautiful, multi-faceted park from medium-high end dining at the golf course to family picnics on the green. Highly recommended for a visit if you ate in Worcester MA.

One of my favorite places to walk around, frolic with the dog, or host photography portrait sessions as a professional photographer. You can walk by the water, appreciate the memorials or changing seasons, or explore one of the many trails. So glad I live within walking distance of this great park!

Super super cute place to come for relaxing, picnics, photography, exercise, anything you want really. Its awesome that its so big, you can hike, go to the farm petting zoo when its open, enjoy the scenery, do yoga, walk the dogs, whatever!!! Very versatile place and an adorable park with nice scenery and views. Family time here is always a blast!!!

This place has been around forever and Im happy its still there. as a kid I used to visit this place and visit the animal farm. Im glad I get to go through there now and drive through when Im bringing my son to school. they have birthday parties and people are always there enjoying the weather. If youve never been I highly recommend you go and just hang out. It is free.

Overall great experience. Hidden gem in Worcester. Only thing is the tee boxes were beat up. Other than that it was great . Will be back for sure. Oh ya I shot a 3 over 75 to boot.

This is a local, very special place. Quiet, safe and clean. You will encounter people walking, running, fishing, cooking out and simply just hanging out. There are individual picnic tables and cooking spots spread out all over the place. We have been having our 7am AA meeting here since early March. The attraction has been the early morning peace and quiet.

We stumbled upon this lark while driving through the city and found it to be such a nice place to sit down and watch the sunset. Some of it was shut down due to renovations but a lot of it was still open for activities. We said that we should go back for a picnic by the water, there are tons of rocks to sit on. Driving through was a little chaotic, but Im chalking that up to it being a busy afternoon with people moving everywhere. On a nice sunny day its a nice escape from the city.

Nice park to visit. It has a golf course and restaurant located by the main entrance. There is a softball field and soccer field available as well. My favorite part is the walking trail located behind the memorial. There are several different routes you can take and my family and I enjoy taking different routes everytime. There is also a lake and gazebo located on the right side of the main road which is nice. There is also a small zoo located in the park with is free to visit. Is definitely a nice place to just come and relax or to spend a day with the family. Im so glad I found this little gem so close to home. This has definitely become one of my favorite go to spots.

It can be such a beautiful place to bring family for different eventsin your life like birthdays, family get togethers, playground, petting zoo. You can go to Vietnam Memorial and sit down and relax, walk around beautiful pond and read wall among other things.

The city has put a lot of time, effort, and money into the landscape remodel and the overall appearance of the park. It is a great place for a walk and let the kids run around and play. The farm they have for free was so much fun as a random afternoon adventure! Im very impressed verse how it was 10 years ago!

So beautiful and peaceful. Come read a book in the shade of a tree, or smell the flowers with your child. Catch frogs, and pet the turtle. Not the snapping turtle though. Thats dangerous.

Always a great place for families, been going here since I was little, lots of memories! Now I bring my children here, and the animal farm is still there which is great!!

Very nice, well kept park. There are picnic areas and and little zoo/animal park (which we, unfortunately, didnt get to see, as its closed on Mondays.Lots of parking spaces, paved trails for LOs in strollers.Vietnam war memorial & arboretum.There is also a golf course and restaurant open to the public.

Green Hill Park is a beautiful spacious park. There is a bike trail and a lovely Vietnam War Memorial.There is a pond, but not to be used for swimming. Also, there is a very small zoo with peafowl, ponies, donkeys, alpacas, sheep and pheasants. Dogs are allowed in the park, but not in the zoo or memorial areas. There are fire pits for cooking a pavillion and some picnic tables. Parking is limited.

Very beautiful place to visit and hang out with family and party. Few grill spots available. Highly recommend

If youre looking for a Great place to bring your kids so they can enjoy the Little farm, playground or just to have a picnic, this is mine and my familys favorite place, and specially this spot here, we spend hours and hours here, you and your kids will love it here

Very Beautiful Place Nice Memorial for the Veterans.

Green Hill Park is a gem here in Worcester and has been for many years. The hiking trails in the park are marked well with the East Side Trail and the East/West Trail the main ones to follow. There are other side trails too to explore. Some of the natural features along the trails are Coal Mine Brook, Millstone Brook, old foundations and stone walls, a ledge-filled pool and small cliffs. There used to be a light-blue colored water tower located in the park, it was taken down in the last couple of years. I posted a photo of it. The Vietnam War Memorial is well worth a visit too, it is close to the main parking lot and pavilion. There is also a playground, athletic field & handballs courts near the high school plus a small farm/zoo, not sure on how many animals are there or if there is a fee.

Food and staff were great. Feels good to be back out. Super friendly and attentive.

I go here for a noon time and 7pm meeting, they are great and full of good ppl

I liked it A LOT. I wish there was more trails threw the woods. The animals are cool, and that huge hill is awesome!!!

Love green hill park.Does not matter how many times I go.Its a great place to rake ur kids,hiking,family barbecue or just reading a book under the shade.

I spent a long time trying to fish out what I thought was a ring, turns out it was a soda can tab. Either way I had a blast. Beware of the mean dog that sits near the shoreline.

I loved going to Green Hill Park as a child to play on the super fun play areas. As an adult, I love being there to look at the scenery.

Best park in Worcester hands down! Beautiful open space, stunning trees and ponds, as well as memorials, a petting zoo, hiking trails and more. What else can you ask for?

This park is a great time for the whole family! You can grill for the family. The kids can play in the park or enjoy the animals. Theres also a beautiful veterans memorial to see.

What an amazing and large park to explore! A large body of water, forest to walk through, hills to meander, petting zoo, etc. My biggest complaint s that there aren’t more entrances to the park/you can’t walk through the golf course. But how great that this space exists! And how lovely in the fall

Beautiful scenery for being in the middle of the city. One of my favorite places to go to take a walk enjoy the various wildlife, take photos of the variety of flowers they have that attract butterflies and read a book amongst it all and relax

A Look To Greenhill Park In A Cloudy Day.Every time I go to Greenhill park its more beautiful and more stuffs add it to it. You could rent the park for birthday parties, plus the sweet 16, Quinceañeara (sweet 15) wedding or like in my young son case his pics for his prom night they come out so beautiful and elegant. Greenhill park still doing some remodeling through the new Worcester Golf entrance but everything else its already completed. They have the small farm with animals and new bathrooms right in front of kids play ground. This not a big zoo, they only have few small animals in the farm. This park also have the Vietnam War Veterans Memorial Stones. This place its beautiful so I give it a 10.

I absolutely love it here! It is so peaceful,and well maintained. The petting zoo staff are wonderful, and the enclosures are always well kept. They even remained open for my friend’s children, because we arrived around closing hours. The Vietnam veterans memorial area is gorgeous, and well thought out. It is a beautiful area to dedicate to those strong,brave and amazing people, who fought for our country. There are also plenty of places to have picnics, or even just sit under a tree and read a good book! The walking trails are so much fun also.

Actually a pretty nice municipal course. I hear of a checkered past, but the course was in great shape and was fun to play. The front nine is very scenic.
