I had an awesome time. Good environment and great staff, and awesome prices. I seen some of the bad reviewsbut i got the food i ordered at a perfect time, hot and fresh!I got to order multiple drinks. Never told me about a limit.Everything was clean as well.my favorite part of it all were their sweet potatoe friesall in all!!!!I would DEFINITELY be going back!

Great place to visit. I love the old school meets universal studio feel. Decent food for a movie theater. They have really good sweet potatoe fries too. Lots of great art work and autographs inside.

Its always a fun movie going experience at Hollywood Boulevard Cinema. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. There is a nice variety of snacks, sandwiches, and burgers to select. And they all taste great!

Me and my family come here all the time. The food is delicious and just as great as the service. The feel is much better than other theaters. Happy to go to the movies because of this theater.

This place is pretty decent. The screens are just okay, not the biggest but there is a full bar and restaurant here. Its nice to have dinner and a movie all in one. The food is served right to you. Good place to host fundraisers as well.

Theater was clean, seats comfy and movie/sound perfect. Food was a bit overpriced for the quality but still decent. If food was a tad less expensive or better quality for the same price, 5 stars.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I wish it wasn’t so popular. I know, that’s rather selfish of me but...They are opening soon, only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday. Am I mistaken? Are we battling a pandemic? The days most people like to go places is the days they’re open?! It seems like the days they are closed would be more accommodating [should be open] to resist the spread of this virus! You can actually sit people 6’ apart when it’s not crowded. Maybe it’s me?

Dirty, shoe sticks to floor, I asked to be moved, customer service is horrible. Even the manager had an attitude. Worst experience ever. I asked for my money back and they returned it, and 2 days later took it back. Food was cold and came an hour into the movie and we ordered and got there 30 mins early. We asked to speak to owner and the manager said they were too busy to talk to customers. They will never see another dollar from me. Please clean your facility and get some dignity and respect!

The service was great. But my chicken tenders were raw. The servicer was kind very apologetic and gave a discount and a free popcorn. I like that I felt safe on how they have selected seats for social distancing.

It was very nice love the scenery the staff was very kind and friendly will most certainly go back.

The person that answers the phones needs a Customer Service class. Due to his attitude I ended up not ordering from here. I suggest you find another job, if you don’t want to service customers.

If you have Celiacs disease, dont bother. The only thing on the new Covid menu without gluten is just plain lettuce.

This and Hollywood Palms are the coolest movie experiences available around here.

This is ridiculous this is the second time my family and I came here in the last month and most of us got food poisoning. I woke up with horrible cramps and sickness after eating here that I will spare the details of. I will not be coming back here again.

So we went on my brother birthday it was a nice experience something different for a change. The theater seats could be a lot better than office chairs but that’s the only complaint I have

I absolutely love going here! Its a great place to go treat yourself. Service is okay. Sometimes a little slow even when there only a few people. But the staff are so nice! Great place for a first job too.

Food was better than expected..a wonderful experience

Awesome and unique cinematic experience...the place oozes classic Hollywood with the substantial amount of interesting memorabilia. For example, on a recent visit I was looking at a contract document signed by Joan Crawford displayed by one of the theater entrances. The individually themed theaters, each paying homage to a classic film or film franchise, are a great decorative touch (the Coconut Grove is especially impressive). The food is also delicious and very fresh, and weve had quite a few of the options on the menu. Highly recommended.

Loved all the upgrades!! Its been a couple years since I last visited. I love that you can now choose your seats. I remember before everyone would line up and race to the auditorium to make sure they had a good seat. Great job! Will be back. P.s. maybe now you can upgrade the chairs.

This movie theatre is a bit different from the way youre used to doing theatre. They announce for you to be seated, and its amazingly decorated (my theatre was dedicated to The Wizard of Oz!). The service was very friendly, as they take your order in the theatre and bring it quickly. I enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back, especially to redeem my free screening!

My all time favorite place to dine and view. Great staff, reasonable prices, and delicious food. I have seen all the marvel movies here and had a better experience than any other place. I wouldnt recommend scary movies here however. The theatre is too well lit. I would assume its for the staff to maneuver, so it kind of absorbs the suspense factor of the movie. However, action packed movies with a bucket of beer is still hands down a great time here.

Awesome dine in movie theater! Decent theater food, large drink selection; I would give it five stars if the office chairs they give you to sit in didn’t roll off the tiered floors periodically. It can be startling!

This theater has so many movie based pictures. The places has so many movies to watch. Some part of the wall is full of old pictures. Its movie theaters are big but can get messy easily. There food is really good. The tables in the theater is small but you will enjoy your time.#Nice Decorations#Good Theater/Food

Saw Doctor Sleep here with a cousin of mine and we both enjoyed the unique theater experience. Nice screens with good sound. Reasonable concession and food prices too! They actually have some of the best thin crust pizza Ive ever had!

Cant get enough of their hot wings and sweet potato fries! Save money while eating and enjoying a good movie, they have great drink specials daily except on Friday and Saturdays. Very laid back atmosphere!

This Cinema was super cool. I love that it was a small theater so that not a lot of people could be in each individual theater. I like the fact that they had food and drinks. But the one thing I did not like is that the server continuously came over by us Even though We had already told him several times that we were not getting food or drinks. . And then the servers keep passing you by or going behind you and its a distraction away from the movie. I missed a lot of parts of the movie because of the servers.

Terrible experience. Huge ants on the tables and floors and crawled onto food. Told a waiter and they said a manager was in the building yet nobody came up to apologize or address the nastiness.

Haven’t been here in a while, but it’s a really nice theater. They could enhance the experience with better seating. They need a better way for the servers to not literally be blocking the person behind them while collecting orders. Overall, the experience is good. They have a decent system, the hot food comes out quick and very hot. Not exactly sure why we got our hot food before the drinks and popcorn, but here I am being not picky.

This is a cool place to eat and watch a movie at the same time. The seating chairs do need to be upgraded. I would recommend Hollywood palms instead. It is more updated.

Hands down my favorite movie theater to go to. I go by myself a lot ♡ but also go on dates here and its always a super great experience ♡ I love that the food & drinks arent ridiculously over priced and the theaters are so beautiful. Each room has a different Vibe, different decor all based on movies. My favorite is the one all the way in the back up the stairs you litterally feel like your watching a movie outside its so beautiful. I hope your lucky enough to see a movie in that specific theater room ♡♡♡♡

I enjoy it always. Its reasonable for a dinner/movie date. My only thing is. It takes such a long time to get anything you may ask for even if the theater is busy or not.

Not the traditional movie theater, its different.

Less expensive than most first-run theaters, but you have to buy a food item. Theres a good bar-food menu with desserts and coffee drinks, along with a full bar and an always-improving draught beer selection. My favorite place to see a movie.

I prefer watching movies at Hollywood Palms in Naperville because they have plush reclining seats and better food, while this theater still has the high back office chairs, which are not very comfortable, and the food is just okay. As a matter of fact, the chair fell when I was about to sit on it. Maybe it was broken. Tonight, however, they have a special live event featuring the Windy City Dueling Pianos, so I came.

A great place for watching a movie and seeing some great movie memorabilia and eat a dinner or indulge in some great snacks or appetizers. I love the idea they have about special needs movie show times. Go check them out.

I like the ambiance, the computer chairs are actually comfortable. The food taste and quality are fine.However, I hate that they require the purchase of food. What if you just want to watch a movie? Also, the servers really seem to display no effort. It is sad that they do not have the button call system that competitors like Studio Movie Grill have to call over waiters for refills.

Never a dull moment with a party of five. I would have given 5 stars however getting there 30 minutes ahead didnt get us 5 seats together. This is my biggest complaint over reserved seating. Just go back to the way it was before. People would move if you asked politely so you could seat your family together. And its not convenient if you have to pay extra for the same seats just to get the exact seats you want. BS if you ask me.

Cool theatre they serve food and liquor while you watch a movie. Each theatre room has its own theme and lots of cool memorabilia if you walk around the theatre.

How could you not love this place? Classic movies on the big screen in themed rooms, a bar, food service right to your seat, game and trivia nights! Such a fantastically fun experience for people of all ages.

Love the idea. Usually get really good service here and the food is decent. The chairs arent the best since they are just rolling desk chairs

Great place to take the family. You get to eat while watching your movie. The cost is about the same if you went to another show and bought snacks.There is a small movie museum you can look at while waiting. There are all sorts of movie posters and artifacts.Staff was nice and didnt bother you while watching the movie.

One of the best Cinemas I have been too. Each screen room has a different theme and the hallway leading there is set up like a city street ... very neat. Located at the very end on the right is a small museum area with a lot of movie props inside. The best part was the food and drinks being delivered right to your seat, alcoholic drinks are also on the menu and the food was great.

This always has been and will forever be my go to place for movie night. The entire dinner and a movie concept is done so well here. And the staff are always friendly. Weve been here at least 20 times and have never had a poor experience.

Great dine in theater with good food. Minimum of at least 1 drive I or food per customer. You can purchase assigned seats online. But need to print them(can be done on sight straight when you walk in the doors slightly to the left of the cashiers) Id suggest to just type the reservation code in, much quicker than trying to use the scan machine. Down side is the limited space for the office chairs (seats) of the theater.

The Movie Ticket prices are reasonable (and they respect and honor Military Veterans with a Discount, and that is important to us).The food and drink prices are higher (its obviously how they make their money), but if you take advantage of the daily special theyre better.If the auditorium youre in has them available, I recommend table seats rather than the counters if you are with a group.The staff has always been courteous and attentive.It is a pleasant way to watch a movie and the pictures and items spread throughout the facility (including in the small Museum) are cool and bring back some good memories.You should try the experience. _(Remember to Like this Review)

Decent food good theater

Its nice to go right from work to the theater, sit down in a comfy office chair and have a bite to eat, while watching a movie. I really like having the table for my beverage too. Also check out their deals. I get up to 8 free tix for my birthday! It is a clean theater and serves adult beverages also.

The place is nice. Includes a cinema museum of sorts inside. The decor is not the typical decor youd find in a normal movie theater, it has nice touches all over. Even the pathway to the theater rooms is unique with parking meters throughout. The theme theater rooms are also pretty cool.I removed one star because it was our first time there and there isnt much guidance for a newbie. Highly recommend checking the website as far as what to expect when you get there (buying tickets, seat assignments, waiting area, ordering food etc).Also, my wife sat in a bad broken chair. Reclines too far back and felt it was leaning to one side.All in all minor things to a very good experience. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 kid and dropped about 90$ on food and drink plus the cost of tickets. Might be a lot for some so keep that under consideration. I will say makes a good date place.

Horrible experience. One item minimum so I ordered a ice cream and water. I waited and waited and waited. Both tje water and ice cream never came. Inquired twice with waitress but still nothing. Definitely will think twice before coming again. Will go elsewhere for a better experience.

Honestly surprised at how cheap this place is for how amazing the views are! The food is pretty darn delicious and their beer selection cant be beat. If you like theming this place is for you. Every inch of this place is themed and delightful to look at. We were in the Chinese theatre which had huge Chinese Dragon statues and tons of details. Gorgeous place!

Best place to watch movies while eating dinner. Affordable, good seating, great selection of movies and incredible decor. Each movie theater has its own theme from Casa Blanca upstairs to an Egyptian theme, Star Wars theme, and the Wizard of Oz, complete with Dorothys house on top of the wicked witch of the west.

First time I was ever at this place, watched the new Star wars movie. Love how you could eat dinner in the movie theater. Got a great plate of nachos..

Hollywood Blvd is a novel concept that hasnt adjusted to the times. In a world where almost all competing movie theaters have recliners, an office chair that isnt that comfortable cannot compete. If youre looking for dinner and a movie, I would much sooner recommend Hollywood Palms. They have recliners, dinner, and call buttons on the chairs. The call buttons are very helpful for when you need a refill or want to order something else. The food at either place isnt anything to write home about, its not the worst Ive had, but its leagues from anything I would go out of my way to find. Overall if youre looking for dinner and a movie and you want it at a Hollywood themed theater, Palms is the much better option.

Very cool theater. My first visit there and I got to experience the Wizard of Oz themed viewing room. They offered a full menu and dining service which I did not realize before going and had eaten elsewhere. The food looked and smelled very good, so good I was about to commit pure gluttony and eat again! I would have given 5 but I became quickly annoyed by the chatter of orders being taken, as well as the constant movement of the wait staff delivering orders during a good portion of the movie...but that is a me problem. I just felt like I could not totally immerse in the movie with all of that going on. Please dont let that very minor and personal preference discourage from partaking in a very cool cinematic experience.

This used to be a great theater. Servers are the worst they have ever been. The place is just dirty. Tables and chair were sticky and not well kept. Wrong orders brought out multiple times. By the time we got what we ordered it was cold and missing sauses and drinks. I will never be back, which honestly is very disapointing because Ive been coming here for 10+ years. Manager refused to help. Fix your staff ASAP!!!

This is my favorite movie theater. I love the individual chairs so I can move and not bother the people around me. I love the mozzarella sticks, the Chevy burger and the attack of the mushrooms. Prices are great and they even offer deals. I first went there when I loved to Illinois 6 years ago, and I go at least 3-4 times a month. I also have to say I left my new phone (very irresponsible of my part and not advised in any situation), the staff found it and saved it for me until I went back!

Ticket prices are reasonably cheap. Food choices range from basic foods to some pretty extravagant things you wouldn’t expect from a movie theater. Only complaint I have is seating is uncomfortable cause they’re cushioned office chairs and very close to people.

So they have you sitting in these office chairs instead of regular theater seats. The prices for the food are decent, but its a movie theater so its going to be expensive. This is not your traditional movie theater. They have a theme for each hall. Prices for the movie tickets are reasonable. I give it 3 stars because that rolling chair for movie theater seats was annoying.

Good food. The various themed theaters are awesome. Really wish they changed the seats,though. Its quite annoying when the person next to you continues to twist in their chair, bumping into you.

Beautiful theaters with different themes in each screen. Food and drinks are available from your seat with staff coming to take your order. The service is usually pretty good but at times when theater is very busy the food order gets bogged down. I love going here and enjoy the ambiance.

Always love going here. Nostalgic runs heavy. Get there early for any film just to walk around and see how many of the films you have seen or remember from the old posters and wallpapers.

Was worried the service would get in the way of the movie. However I barely noticed the waiter giving me refills and bringing me my order. Very good food and very comfy chairs. Absolutely loved the experience and cant wait to come back!

I love coming here for date nights. The food is tasty and the staff have always been so polite.

I enjoy having a meal and watching a movie at this location. I wish there were more food options and better quality. Also it would be nice if there were additional activities to do at this location, so that theres something more to do other than drink at the bar, before and after the movie. Even having music playing in the bar might be a nice addition.

Seating is crunched together. If you purchase tickets online you still have to stand in line to print them out at the kiosk. Hollywood Palms is more comfortable and convenient when purchasing tickets online. And you can get tickets for any movie thats showing.

I like the concept. I like the food. The Staff are always nice and professional. The prices are great for dinner and a movie. They even have a great movie selection and times whenever I visit. And they often free birthday passes!

Kids love seeing movies here! Food is decent, love the captian chairs, everyone can see the screen and the service is good.

Hollywood boulevard Is a reasonably priced place to get dinner and a movie. They have a wide selection on their menu so even if youre vegetarian like I am come on you can find something that you will enjoy eating. For the most part the service is pretty good. I will say though, that there have been a good handful of occasions where I had to get the attention of the server in order to place my order. Other than that, this is a great place to come on your own come a with friends or family.

I was a bit disappointed. The office chairs were uncomfortable. Drinks arrived 3 times which means they werent ours, dinner arrived twice which wasnt ours.. checks were put together with other people.. and dont get me started on payment which was another mess. My first time here and drove a hour and unfortunately i wont be back.. oh i had the wings and shrimp...

Diner and movie was fantastic. Movie was so fantastic. Food was so delicious. Been here several times and never disappointed. The pictures on the walls of actors and actresses is really wonderful. Brings back memories of their movies they made and better yet when I saw them. I was with my brothers and it really brought back memeries..

Typically love this place and go every Tuesday. Was there last night and ordered our usual long island pitcher and it looked like dirty water. Found out they changed the sweet and sour they use to an organic mix. It was horrible! Everyone we noticed who ordered drinks with it were complaining. It was not good at all.

Been here a lot...my moms favorite theater...but the food has gotten worse over the years and prices have gone up. $4 for a soda and my $12 chicken sandwich looked pathetic compare to before. Serve is good at least.
