Review №1

This is a cool place. At this location was Strangers Burial Ground. A burial ground for people not aligned with a religious affiliation or died while traveling through the area. The burial ground also included hundreds of Hessian Soldiers that were moved to Woodbury about 100 years after the Battle of Red Bank in 1777 in which a largely out numbered American Revolutionaries defended and defeated a British/Hessian Attack on Fort Mercer along the Delaware River. Thanks in part by the help of young Jonas Cattell who warned Col Green of the impeding surprise attack. The Strangers Burial Ground was moved to Deptford Strangers Burial Ground in 1854 as Woodbury grew. All of the Hessian Soldiers were moved to Deptford Strangers Burial Ground by 1914.
