So much great art in one place. Ariel is very friendly and extremely helpful. If you are looking to own a nice piece of art in your home I can highly recommend this place. Even if you have no sense of art (like me and fiance did coming in) they will help you find a style that you are drawn through their impressive selection, and narrow it down without ever being pressured into anything. Must go to place for art!
They will not bother to show you the courtesy of responding if they are not interested. This is the mentality of Florida. This is rude and typical of Florida. Dont waste your time.
My phone has deleted my review twice in a row while writing it.Great gallery with a huge back room, so they probably rotate what is on display regularly.Went with my friend and her four year old son. Like taking him to art galleries but would not take the average four year old to a gallery that has Picassos in touching range. Please post this phone.
The largest gallery Ive been to. They have a variety of at from local artist all the way to very famous artists like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. They offer many services like art appraisals and anything to do with framing. Also they auctions, custom framing, venue rental, etc. I went there for an painting party and had a great time.
So I inherited some artwork from my parents, and there were a few pieces that I didnt want to keep, so I was looking into selling them, as theyre rather valuable. Based on research I found Baterbys Art Gallery online and was happy to see that they offer consignment services to sell artwork.According to their site Baterbys is happy to offer our art consignment services. Our team works diligently to find the right buyers for you, at home and internationally, through our vast network of loyal clients. So I stopped by today in hopes of talking to someone about what steps Id need to take to do this. I walked in, and after a minute a woman came out of the back to greet me. When she saw me, she stopped hesitantly and stood back and asked what I wanted, looking at me apprehensively. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt as I was out running errands. I explained to her what I was looking to do, and she looked me right in the face and said they do not offer consignment. I said I had a Miro, Lebadang, Dali and a few others. Not only did she say they dont do that, but seemed to have NO IDEA where I could sell this artwork. It was obvious I didnt look the part she expected and therefore I was unworthy of even being in her gallery. While it was a nice looking gallery and my fiancee had wanted to visit in the future and possibly make some purchases, I would now never set foot in this place again, as the staff member flat out lied to my face because Im assuming she didnt like the way I look. What a horrible and unprofessional way to do business.Avoid this place at all costs, seems like a shady business run by biased and judgmental people who are snobs.
Saw the Salvador Dali Biblia Seca exhibit there and was fascinated by the range of pieces on display. Definitely a hidden gem in Orlando!
Great staff. Professional, friendly...helpful...
Loved it!
