This used to be a great place to go to for swing dancing but it has definitely went a little down hill. Its gotten more expensive, and there is almost never live music anymore (sometimes they dont even play swing music). Its also extremely crowded. I still go occasionally and enjoy it though. Its fun to go with friends or watch the professionals dance.

Have been attending on the 2nd Saturday of month with the Piedmont Swing Dancing Society for the past 10 years. Always fantastic musical groups to enjoy with swing dancing. Get off the couch and learn a new skill!

Went swing dancing Im this beautiful space. The floors are smooth and clean and the live music was electric. Excellent venue and excellent event.

Best place to go swing dancing.

Piedmont Swing Dance Society makes this their home second Saturday of every month. The dance floor is perfect for all those hundreds of happy feet that get to dance for three hours to some of the best bands in North Carolina. The board of this venerable nonprofit group maintains a safe, friendly environment for all. You dont need a partner; there’s an hourlong lesson at the beginning and the veteran dancers make sure that new dancers get a few leg shakes in. And did I mention the live music? I haven’t found a more friendly or quality dance scene elsewhere in the country.

A nice venue for haflas, though changing space is limited.
