The Taste of Art classes are fantastic! Theyre a great price and you can do so much with them. Its a great way to see if you want to commit to a full class. The instructors are always so fun and friendly! Even if you think youre not creative or artistic you should try these classes because they walk you through everything and anyone at any level can make something to be proud of.

Mixed experience at the gallery shop. Some of the employees/volunteers have been helpful. On other visits I have either been ignored completely or followed around while being made to feel unwelcome.I am new to the area so perhaps this is how some of the ladies that work here are. I am not new to being profiled and that is certainly the impression I am left with here at times.

The Sawtooth building is a Winston-Salem landmark. It has so much history plus they offer art classes to the community and for children. There is also a public gallery and shop you can visit off the street. Cant find it? Look for the sawtooth rooftops and you are close!

A wonderful place to take classes and explore art, or just sit and enjoy the atmosphere in one of the many sitting areas.
