We stopped here to eat breakfast and enjoy the beautiful weather. The park is clean and well maintained. There is a variety of trees to enjoy. As my granddaughter and I were approaching a birch tree to stand beneath, we noticed a blue heron in the pond. The bench we sat on was in the shade and had a trash can handy to use. After a short walk around, we saw a frog on a rock next to the pond! A great adventure for our day. Street parking. Volleyball courts and a walking trail are available.

Very nice park with a pond, basketball courts, tennis courts, a sand volleyball area, and a roller hockey rink. Has a nice picnic area. Great place to get some exercise and bring the kids. Very spacious. I did find a few items of trash, which I picked up and disposed of.

I love Oakwood Park! It’s so nice to have in the. Neighborhood. Love the fountain and pond, the tree lined paths are lovely to walk on, and a great playground for kids. Good sports areas too that are always in use! Roller hockey, volley ball, tennis and basketball! A gem of Winfield.

Great amenities. Covered seating, tennis, basketball, volleyball and fishing. Best of all, tax payers fund it. Get outside and enjoy!

This place is great to have a good time with friends the only thing i wish they can turn the lights at 7 pm instead of 8pm

It is close by and my children always have friends to play with. But the sandbox needs to go. Kids throw sand everywhere.

Nice park that has lit basketball, volleyball and tennis courts until about 1030pm. Tennis courts pavement is cracked but nets are at a good height.

If you have family members in CDH, this is a really good place to take the kids and unwind.

Fun to explore, mix of thick forest and meadows

Been going here since I was a kid! Its down the street from my house. Theres newer jungle gym equipment, swings, large fields, a small pond for fishing (use HP dogs!), a hockey rink, tennis and basketball courts, and sand volleyball courts
