Lots of different trails, a beach, and a shaded picnic area. Our family loves to come here and explore on foot, but especially on bikes!!

Loved, loved, loved the lake area! Clean beach and super clean water. Wasnt terribly crowded the Sunday we went. People were very respectful and there was plenty of room for people to swim and play without it feeling crowded.Only complaint was that the grass field you have to walk through to get to the water had dog poop everywhere. Risky walk when you arms are full of beach gear. I wish dog owners would be responsible!

Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Area is part of the Birch Hill Flood Control and floods when the dam is closed and holding backwater. Look closely at the photos I am posting. You can see the high water marks on the trees. The Likens on the trees die when flooded and submerged. It is more prevalent out back around Millers River and Preast Brook. Yes that is a lot of footage above average normal water height. Max back watters is about 30 feet above Lake Dennerson. Look closely at the little pavilion roof the high water marks are just underneath the roof eaves.Enjoy your time out there.Mr. P says

Didnt get to touch the water, but nice quiet night to sit by a fire pit to keep a bit warm. Its does get cooler out at night.$5

Had a wonderful time one of the most tranquil relaxing beautiful state parks in the state ever been to would recommend to all to take it a few minutes and enjoy the fine things that are in our backyards

Love, love, love fishing, picnicking, tables grills, great views and water, plus swimming beach
