Roxys Downtown

Love love love this place. The Halloween night showing of Young Frankenstein was my first time here. I found the staff to be wonderful. Our server was quick, kind and helpful when we had questions. The owner is lovely and kindly bought us drinks! First time coming but will not be the last!

It was a breath of fresh air to see live entertainment with the appropriate distancing in place. The cast of Young Frankenstein was superb, and the ambiance is always 1960s Las Vegas at Roxys! It was a joy to be there.

Fun lil atmosphere. Good drinks good food and great entertainment

This was such a great little theater. We did not have dinner, but had drinks and snacks. Their coffee products, as well as most of their snacks, are from The Spice Merchant and The Nifty Nut House. Both of those are great downtown Wichita shops. “The Wiz” was loads of fun for my wife’s birthday.

GET DOWN TO ROXYS .... SHOWS ARE ALWAYS FUN AND IT HELPS SUPPORT THE ARTS IN WICHITA . CAST FOR YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN WAS EXCELLENT .... WELCOME BACK TO CHRISTI MOORE ... SPECIAL THANKS TO THE NEVILLES FOR THEIR AMAZING TALENT.... YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME !!!! JACK & JERRE .

Great play and lots of laughs. It was my first visit and Ill be returning

So much fun! Great for groups, or a date night. Not serving food right now though.

The show and staff are great. A awesome start to any evening.

Great performance and great staff

We went to see Becoming Dr. Ruth. The seating was comfortable, the service was great, the drinks were perfect and the show was spectacular. The only thing that kept my rating from 5 stars was the food. I had the salad, ribs and cheese cake. The salad was a sad mix of greens with some kind of what seemed to be a corn salsa mix and about a teaspoon of dressing. The salads were so bad that I only saw 1 person actually eat it. The main entree was ribs. They looked good and were sauced right but were overcooked and tough. It also came with some small red potatoes that were okay and some green beans that were also okay. For dessert I got the cheesecake and the wife got the brownies. I thought both deserts were delicious.

Love the shows and the friendly wait staff!! Golden girls is a must see!! And their other shows are never a disappointment!

Love the shows, great food, great time. A definite must see!!

Love Roxys, great performers!

Totally enjoyed The Wiz production. What fun. The music. The energy. The story. Great cast. And of course, it’s always fun to see Carla.I truly enjoy the shows, variety, and talent at Roxy’s. A great place to be entertained while enjoying good company.—-I have been taking advantage of KMUW events at Roxys downtown venue lately. The central location works out well for us since we are scattered throughout the city.I plan to attend all future WichiTalks. Hands down an excellent and mentally simulating event. I also attended KMUWs city planning update discussion panel and plan to attend the mayor debate next week.Good food and friendly staff helped to make our evenings at Roxys fun.

You know what it is. Very fun dinner theater! The drinks are good and potent. We didnt find anything we enjoyed eating, but we did easy something. Go see something!

Very fun and covid friendly!

The shows are pretty good, although sometimes a bit too ambitious. I am a season ticket holder. I have never ordered food that came out the way I ordered it. I quit ordering food. The drink service is bad. Last night, we waited over an hour for a scotch and water. I finally got up, went to the bar and had to ask for it. This isnt the 1st time thats happened.

GREAT show, very good staff, (didnt really use the bar, but heard no complaints), and was very much a completely worthwhile experience, was very happy and quite entertained.Roxys should be definitely be checked out. Return often. I have seen several shows here and never have I been disappointed.

The grits with shrimp was really goodThe waitress Ashley was friendly and on point. Cant say enough about the WIZ production. A great evening out

Roxys is loads of fun. The stage talent (best in Wichita). Food and food choices could be improved.

Roxys is a great local theatre and local talent. Dont miss a show.

We saw A Tuna Christmas. It was very entertaining! We laughed alot! The meal was pretty good, just not enough of it! Our high rise chairs became a little uncomfortable toward the end so I would recommend booking a regular table. I definitely recommend drinking the house sangria!!! A little sweet and a little sour...so yummy! Sorry I didnt get any photos.

I saw the Wiz, such a good show and amazing how much they were able to do with such a small stage. The waiting staff is efficient and the atmosphere is chill.

Always excellent! Staff is always in spot and cast is always a blast!

Great show fantastic staff

The perfect date night! Great solo as well! The shows here are always fantastic, the staff friendly, and the food and drinks delicious!

Im not going to judge the show, as stage plays are not my thing, it was a work Christmas party. However, I was disappointed with the food, the $15 blackened chicken and red potatoes was very bland, like it wasnt seasoned at all. Our server was friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Overall cost was kinda high, over $160 for tickets, food and 2 drinks for two people.Edited for the response from the owner: I recalculated and the total was $144 including tax and gratuity, the wife and I paid, $60 to my wifes employer, for tickets, and we paid for dinner, 2 x roasted chicken, 1 x deviled eggs, 1 x brownie bites, 3 x Michelob Ultra, 1 x Mimosa, 1 x Max & Molly + gratuity & tax. We were expecting dinner to be included, as you indicated, so we didnt eat beforehand, meaning we had to eat in house.

Seen the Wiz. Phenomenal! Laughed from start to finish. The cast was great. The environment was clean and staff was on point.

It was fun! Seating at the tables is cramped and the bathrooms are two flights of stairs away. The performance was awesome and the waitstaff incredible. Will definitely be going back.

Laid back atmosphere and cool vibe. Roxys is a great place to catch a show.

Wait staff forgot to turn our tables order in. It took an hour and a half to finally get our food. Just in time for the lights to go out for the show. Then when it was time to clear our plates he was nice enough to stain my jacket with barbeque sauce.

Perfect date night. Great shows great wait staff.

Excellent performance venue tucked away in downtown Wichita. Nice bar and menu. We enjoyed the chocolate cake with ice cream, along with coffee from the Spice Merchant during the intermission of Hi-Hat Hattie, starring the wonderful and talented Karla Burns.

The Wiz was fantastic. This is a great local live theater setting.

Delightful and fun revival of The Wiz. Brilliantly made to come alive in this small jewel box of a live theater. CONGRATS.

Great of them to host the monthly KMUW Democracy On Tap! Fun place for the xmas show too!

The venue was a lot of fun. Our waiter, Ken, was there when we needed him. We saw a parody of the movie Hocus Pocus and it was really entertaining! We definitely had a memorable evening. Thank you.

Had 5 drinks and I didnt have even a slight buzz. Pastrami sandwich was delicious and our waitress was amazing. Didnt care for the show but Ill go back. The other one I went to was hilarious. Guess its a hit or miss. Seating was perfect.

Locally owned Cabaret, whats not to love?

Friendly staff ..good comedy ..food is a little pricey ..but was fun evening !!

So far it not a bad crowd good music waiting for the show The Wiz

Excellent service, wonderful shows. Food was delicious as well.

Great entertainment!! Such a fun establishment, tasty drinks and talented actors.

Awesome experience! Roxys is a great place to just let go and enjoy yourself as the cast puts laughter in your life for a couple of hours or so. The staff is awesome as well! The Golden Girls are the best! A+ Thank you Roxys for a wonderful time!

A fun place to go for a different kind of experience!!! Loved it

Great show! Another twist on the Wizard of Oz. Must still be in Kansas!

Good food, service ok, drinks are terrible Entertainment not bad depending on what play is showing. Wish they had better intermission entertainment

It was like off off Broadway. The presentation was good and actors (2) were great.

We saw Dog Sees God. It was a wonderful play and the venue is lovely. Comfortable chairs and great view anywhere in the house. The menu is simple but delicious with GF options. The service was quick and attentive and there is a pretty large drink menu. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back many times in the future!

We went to Hocus Pocus. Loved loved loved the show! My only real complaint is the seating was pretty crowded. This was my first time at Roxys, so I dont know if that was the norm.

Roxys is a great place for a great time. They have a great staff and great servers. The atmosphere is great.I suppose the content you see can make or break the evening, but the 5 or 6 times Ive gone, Kyle and Monte have never disappointed!I strongly recommend their Christmas Musical and their Golden Girls.

Recently enjoyed Hi-Hat-Hattie. Carla Burns and her pianist were beyond fabulous. Her superb performance moved me to tears and touched the core of my soul. She is professional excellence right here in Wichita. Our server was also very friendly and efficient. What an overall entertaining experience we were graced with at ROXYS.....standing ovation to YOU ALL!!!!!

The environment was warm cozy and very friendly, the food was absolutely excellent and very reasonably priced, the drink specials that are selected to go along with the show are very amusing and Tastefully done, and the entertainment was top-notch had me laughing along with everyone else in the crowd.

Amazing! I have never had a bad experience at Roxys. The upcoming shows look great -- I cant wait.

Super plus extra for generous support of KMUWs _Engage ICT_.

Had no idea this place was here. Saw a tribute to the Golden Girls, and am planning on catching more shows.

Absolutely loved the entertainment and was overjoyed by the service provided by the staff! We watched Golden Girls and it was wonderful! Had a glass of Brut champagne with a charcuterie tray and loved both. Brought a whole group of friends and all of them were satisfied! Would suggest to anyone!

Great local entertainment. We had a very good time.

Great Show Dog sees God. We bought season tickets and looking forward to the next show Golden Girls. Before the show we enjoyed drinks and several items off the menu. The Bloody Marys are well made.

Excellent performance by THE GOLDEN GIRLS tonight!! Excellent staff and Vintage Commercials !!

Great show and experience. I did not like all the stairs, the service was slim making very long wait for drinks and food, the food was excellent but the wait was terrible and there were multiple partys including ours and we ended up having to move around due to the hostess not seating us properly and when a couple came late there was 2 chairs at different tables so we had to move all around. The show was fantastic I just think the rest needs to be managed a little better and another server.

Great old theater thats been historically renovated. Forbidden Broadway - Great show!

Fabulous shows, great food, wonderful service!

Its a pretty cool little venue, I saw a jazz show there. They have all kinds of events at this venue.

Went and enjoyed The Wiz, it was great!

Somehow, Google decided NOT to cancel a previous review that showed up from me on Roxys page due to an errant click. Under no circumstances would I ever rate Roxys less than five stars! Shows mounted there are always entertaining, and in an atmosphere that is nicely appointed with fun food, and good drinks!

Had a great time. Incredible food and theater was off the chart

Being Dr. Ruth was a great show.

One of Wichitas best! Professional theater, frat entrainment, and excellent event venue available for private events.

The food was cold and ran out of some thing, the show was awesome..

Warm atmosphere hilarious show professional thespians I couldnt ask for me, yet they gave it to me in the form of GREAT food at a reasonable price. Come grab a show be entertained and eat, you wont be disappointed.

GREAT show (Avenue Q), great staff, good drinks, okay pizza. Would definitely go again.

I loved it!!! The Wiz was a great show!!

It really helps incorporate theatre in Wichita

Not exactly what we were expecting, but the show was pretty good and the food was not bad.

A wondeeful live theater with a variety of shows, from funny to soul searching and sobering. Dog Sees God is a great, though serious show. The Christmas shows are not to be missed!

Just went and seen The Golden Girls tonight with my mom and her friend and the show was hilarious and the cast did a great job. I will be coming back here again.

I couldnt pick a favorite actor in the hit the golden girls...thank you so much for the wonderful show!

Fun place! The staff was great and the drinks were strong.

Great show. Always love seeing what Tom and Monty draw up for a good time.

Wonderful shows! We have season tickets and enjoy drinks and desserts with the show.

Every show we have seen at Roxys has been fantastic! We think it is a great venue to see live, local shows.

This place always has amazing shows playing! I dont think Ive ever been here and not loved what was playing!

The show was wonderful. We saw Hi Hat Hattie It was a great show. The food was nice too. Very nice evening.

Wonderful show!!!

Wonderful shows, plays, musicals. Very quaint and cozy seating. Great entertainment, wonderful wait staff. Ticket prices are debatably expensive, but Ive enjoyed every single thing Ive seen here. Lots of drink options, and a wonderful, small selection of delicious foods, appetizers, and desserts.

The Wiz was PHENOMENAL

Great show and good people!!

We are big fans of the Roxy! The shows are fun and the acting a pleasure to watch. The wait staff is professional and friendly. Supporting the local arts is so important! If you want a great night out, include the Roxy!

Loved the Golden Girls. All their shows are great.

Kyle and Monty shows are the best! Good humor, good drinks! Great nightlife!

I was able to attend the Hi-Hat Hattie one woman show at Roxys and I must say Karla Burns gave a excellent performance. Wichita s own and a awesome story she presented for all to see

Saw avenue q and the production was great and the food was good if pricey. Would see another play there again

I thoroughly enjoy their monthly Engage ICT collaboration with WAMU.Avenue Q starts 12 April!

Love the atmosphere and food...it was a cabaret country & rock...good show

Cool oldschool vibe and great culture.

Hi Hat Hattie was GREAT. The food was fresh and hot. Nice place for Date Nite

Great entertainment venue.
