Very nice park for kids...to develop their interest in sports and other activities...can play all the games even tennis and ice-skating...good standard of coaching is also available for tennis and ice skating....nature at the best....COVid arrangement is good..carry food stuff and water bottle with you...must go for kids as outdoor activities are very important in todays world... separate corner and rides for children under 5

This is a wonderful park located off Lake Street in White Plains. Within the park there are at least four tennis court bubbles run by a private company.

Per Seotember 2020 they have outfitted all the outdoor tennis court with new dome-like cover. The Ebersole rink is right by the highway and the background noise is loud. Both playgrounds are well maintained, as well as the baseball field.

Exercising is always more fun with friends, right? Well, maybe - I enjoy the quiet contemplation of walking by myself, but sometimes Im more motivated to get out there if I have someone to go with. One of my friends lives in Hartsdale, and when she bought up the idea of walking she suggested we go here, so since todays weather was sitting comfortably in the 50s we decided to meet here for some low impact aerobic fun.As the name implies, Delfino Park is a - wait for it - dam! Along with the dam itself, theres a large grassy area, playground, and walking paths. I can tell a lot of people must come here for exercise and leisure, but theres so much space that it didnt seem crowded when I was there. We decided to follow one of the walking paths they have outlined and make a full circle which included climbing up the dam - a little over 1 mile in length. Let me tell you - that dam is steep - even someone like me who walks frequently at differing inclines was feeling the burn climbing those stairs (maybe Im just out of shape =p). Once we got up there though the views were great - lots of Instagram worthy photos. The park also hosts a number of events throughout the year - something in the winter, fireworks on 4th of July, and I believe I came here for an Italian festival some years ago. Either way, Im glad I rediscovered this park - its not in my backyard but somewhere I would return to in order to get some miles in.

I like that this park has a playground for kids as well as basketball hoops, an ice skating rink (in cold weather months), tennis and a baseball field. The field has plenty of room to fly kites too. The only thing Id like to see here is an adult fitness park.

We were looking for playground in the area and stumbled upon this little gem. Delfino Park has two playgrounds, 2-5yo and 5-12yo. I think that the 12yo bit is over the top, but the place should keep kids in the 2-8yo range entertained for a reasonable amount of time. There is an ice rink nearby, which was great for restrooms, water, and snacks. This is within driving distance of three comfortable malls, so you could switch between this and a mall as necessary. One caveat, we visited in a November afternoon, which means very little sun. Even then, we felt the heat after a few minutes. Because there is no shade I suspect that the place might be less comfortable during the summer.
