Some good trails and beautiful wilder
Beautiful and quiet.
These trails can get a bit overgrown, especially in late summer. The lower parts of the trails also get quite muddy. Because these are equestrian trails, horse traffic contributes to this by churning up the trail. However there are several miles that you can hike, lots of different wild flowers and plants to see, and different, mostly wooded terrain. Trailblazing is not super clear, and because the trails loop around you can get a little confused if you havent been there before. But you never have to worry about actually losing the trails and you can always retrace your route.
Great trails, and not crowded
We went to a birthday party here (first time visit). My kids LOVED it. There is so much to look at in the nature center and so much to learn. They accommodate the real youngins too (my sons are 3 and 6 yrs old). They have a planetarium, and observatory, the nature center aka educational center, a playground, nature trails out the wahzoo, and a bird sanctuary. We will definitely be making a family outing here again.
Best trails around!! Well maintained, great scenery, good parking
