Best movie theater in Colorado! Savory, spotless cinema heaven. Great screens and sound with extra comfortable seating. Terrific food and drink, especially the margaritas, and the nicest staff imaginable. Absolutely our favorite movie going experience. Worth every penny!

Great chair to seat to watch the movie with popcorn bowl on your belly. The table is singular, attached to each own seat. I do see double seat table on certain seat row, suggest to resevre ahead of time for that table. Great sound, I felt the explosive sound enough to made me flinched. What a thrill.Updated: Sept 15To Deaf Customer: the caption viewer attachment issue has fixed with correctly attachment, its standard Cup holder attachment.its no longer has the clump that has no spot for clump on.

I picked up a cool journal. Buy your tickets early, go right to your seat and enjoy. We absolutely love this place!

I love the Alamo draft house! This new location boasts a lot of new and exciting features and I cant wait to see how it continues to up its game! New theaters with reclining seats, excellent new menu items and a fantastic new bar, Pandoras Box (pictured here with cute patio) make this a great night out!

The Alamo Drafthouse cinemas are by far the best place to see the latest films, classics and special screenings. Movie theme parties are among my favorite events at The Alamo. Theater seats are extraordinarily comfortable at this location with great cushioning, sturdy armrests, and power reclining back and foot rest. The selection of craft beers, local and national, is fantastic. I always find something I like. The food is good, but a bit pricey for what you get. I am not motivated to stop in for dinner or lunch without a movie.

So amazing. They have reasonable prices on tickets for new releases, but the best thing they do is the Movie Parties. This is classic movies with a fun atmosphere.Talking to the staff, you get the feeling that a lot of them are really passionate about cinema. I can really feel the excitement for some of my favorite movies.This place makes me feel like Im part of the A/V club (in a good way).

Had date night with my partner here and it was lovely. I have been leery of the restaurant/ theater style establishments in the past because it has meant uncomfortable seating and obnoxious waiters in the middle of movies. Not at the Alamo. They have combined the new trend of recliner seating with swing around tables so you get the best combination of food and comfortable seating. The wait staff went out of their way to be quiet and unobtrusive during the movie. The option of bottomless popcorn was a great addition to the experience. You can get refills at other theaters, but you have to miss some of the movie by getting up and feeling it yourself. Having someone bring you popcorn whenever your bowl is empty is a really nice option. The theater itself is lovely full of incredible history and great decorating choices. We will definitely return.

If youre looking for a really fun way to spend date night, this is the place to go. They have tons of movie time selections so you can customize your night to fit your schedule, and they bring dinner and drinks directly to you during the movie. The theatres are very clean, especially considering that theyre turning tables throughout the night. The service here is outstanding, and you dont feel disrupted at all throughout the film. I recommend getting here a little early because they have an adorable 1920s-themed bar that you can hang out at before or after your show.

The Alamo Drafthouse is my preferred way of seeing movies! Viewers have to respect and abide by a No Speaking Allowed while the movie plays. The community here values what theyre coming to see. Also they have an incredible menu of food and drinks! I have never been disappointed by what Ive been served here. Mule menu is amazing, also a great vegan selection. This is truly a great place to relax, enjoy some comfort food, and watch great movies.

Great experience first time being here and we were greeted and showed around, the nice lady at the front entrance even gave me a different entrance to distract the kids of the amazing toys in the front! Our sever Phoenix was amazing we let her know it was our first time and she gladly let us know about the menu and the special they had for the movie which I think was amazing! The food was amazing great portion sizes for kids and adults! Will be returning!

Cinema is on point. Lots of room to get comfy and enjoy the show. Good food, good drinks, great beer selection. Pricey? A bit. But if you have the extra bucks, its a worth while experience.

I first went to an Alamo in Austin back in 2012. Ive been hooked ever since. The Westminster location is one of their newest. Friendly and timely staff, good food, and singular atmosphere. Never disappointed!

Loved it. For one, the menu is different. I also feel the prices are better(ir :cheaper). For this reason alone i gave it 4 stars. The staff waa fine, but our server got my drink wrong twice(not a big deal).

I love Alamo and am so glad they opened up one closer to me. Service was on point, food was good, and no talking allowed! It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Love this place. The seats recline and theyre very comfy. The food service is quick and done very subtly I never felt distracted while watching the movie. The place itself is themed a bit after 1950s movie theaters which gives it a unique feel.

I visit the Sloans Lake Alamo and Ive been super excited for this one to get built. The place is huge. A nice bar area, big lobby, bright halls, and they have the new giant theater and others that are similarly sized to sloans lake. There looks to possibly even be a screen on the outside wall.I didnt watch anything in the giant room, but the side room had nice recliners and larger walkways. There are individual trays now, which werent the greatest. Little more difficult for eating and a bit of a tight fit to move carefully.The menu has some great new changes and almost all the originals too. Peanut Butter chocolate shake is back.Ill definitely be back since its so close and I want to check out the giant theater rooms.

This interior of this place is really awesome! They’ve got a bunch of iconic pictures and old Hollywood style decor. Food and drinks are decent, but overpriced. Service can be kind of hit and miss. But for the most part, it’s a really fun place to go see a movie.

My favorite movie theater. Seated are incredibly comfortable, excellent beer, cocktail and food menu. Servers are friendly and non-intrusive. Very strict about people talking / making noise during the movie and won’t let anyone in once the movie starts. Tickets are about the same as regular theater but the experience is SO much better.

This is the cinephiles movie theater. The Alamo Drafthouse worships film in a way other theaters do not. Not only is the projector and audio technology in the BIG SHOW theater (their largest stadium-seating theater for large releases) heads above the rest, but the theater is also committed to playing longtime movie classics alongside new releases.What truly sets Alamo apart from other nameplates is the movie reel they play 30 minutes prior to each movie. The 30 minute reel is filled with off-beat small films, documentary clips, genre lessons, and interviews with directors or personalities related to film. Its to the point that Im not truly satisfied unless I get to the movie 30 minutes before it starts so I can take in all this extra content, which bolsters the feature film with added context.The drinks are great, with a wide array of beers and liquors to choose from. The old fashioned is a personal fave. Food-wise, Ive pretty much loved everything Ive ordered, particularly the truffle popcorn, buffalo cauliflower, sweet Thai chili wings, breakfast tacos and avocado toast. I must emphasize the buffalo cauliflower, which is the best variance Ive tried anywhere.

Finally got the visit the newest Colorado Drafthouse. Tine will tell how good it is, but i did enjoy the changes to menu and prices .I sincerely hope they do more special events, screenings and odd guests(I hope ). Saw the Wolfman has Got Nards w director screening and it was fun !

The big show is a great experience for certain big movies. Standard awesome experience as with any Alamo theater. Food is great, service is always a treat, and the seata at this location recline. Only downside is the tables arent a great setup to share food.

One of the best Alamo’s I’ve been to. Same great experience except this one has upgraded personal tables, hi-def screens and audio, and a Big Screen! My new favorite cinema.

Seats recline and were comfortable. The drink holder was especially useful because a drink on the table somewhat blocks the view of the screen. Big bar area for sitting before or after the show. Friendly and helpful staff. The servers are like ninjas ducking down to avoid blocking the screen. The 3 star rating is because of food quality. I ordered the pizza and it was a lukewarm soggy mess. The edges of the crust was the only thing that was crispy. It was definitely overpriced $13 for the quality and quantity. If you are going solely for the food with the movie you may be disappointed. In hindsight, dinner at a restaurant before the movie would have been better albeit slightly more expensive.

Hands down my new favorite place to watch movies! Its the only theater Im willing to spend money on anymore and they have excellent service. Highly recommend checking it out to all my friends and family. The seat side service is phenomenal!!

This is probably the only theater I love to go to nowadays. The front desk people are never friendly but I buy Tix online so thats not an issue. And the staff in the theatre is the best at the Westminster location.

The Alamo is a very different theater than I’ve been in before the atmosphere is great and the theater is nice the chairs recline also the food is good unlike most theaters. Although it is a bit pricey. I had a good time and I think you should go.

This place is the bomb! Amazing food and wide selection of drinks bright right to your seat before or during the movie. Large, comfy recliners with tables for your food. Fun but up-scale theatre with a bar/lounge. Feels like going to the movies when Cinema was King. Get their early: not just for the food, drinks and atmosphere, but because youll see some really special stuff before the movie. Not just movie trivia and games. For instance, before we saw Joker, there was an interesting and fun video about the history of the character and how its affected our culture. Very cool stuff. Its a little pricey, but honestly not more than youd expect to pay at a restaurant. Well worth it!

Nice grown up atmosphere great studios. U can order food both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks right from your seat all while enjoying a movie. The theatre has amazing nostalgic feel to it. I will be back for sure. Dont forget to tip !

The big show is amazing and has to be seen and felt rather than described. As always the food is amazing and this location has more vegan and texmex offerings.

This could ruin the experience of regular theatres. I liked the in seat service. Food + Adult Beverages are always a plus. I tried & liked the lobster appetizer (i kept eating even when I was full) along with their Whiskey Sundays (i liked this drink because I could really taste the whiskey). This was my 1st time at the Alamo & Ill be returning.Keep up the good work, Alamo!

Im so excited to have an Alamo Drafthouse in the northwest-Denver/Boulder area! I really love the atmosphere at these theatres and this latest location doesnt disappoint! They also carry a bunch of great board games and pop culture merch in the lobby, which is really fun. In our visits so far, the staff has been really helpful and competent. Food is a bit pricey but very tasty and totally worth it to have the convenience of combining quality eats and a movie! This has become my go-to movie theater!

Good place to see a movie with great reclinable seats. Food and drink orders can be put in and served during the movie which is a nice shtick. Very strict on the phone usage and talking to your neighbors; so if youre into causing distractions during a movie this isnt the place for you.Docking a star because the food my group ordered was well below average. Other than that, no complaints. Will be coming back, just without ordering entrees.

The theater is nice with reclining seats. Food brought directly to you. And if anyone is caught texting or using a phone during the movie they will be removed from the theater. Which is a big bonus for true movie fans that hate the blue light glow.

Went yesterday and had a great experience! Was my first time there and got regular and Parmesan truffle popcorn! Loved both of them! Did not realize both were bottomless! They definitely give a lot of popcorn the first time around! loved our server! He was knowledgeable and super helpful. Wish I remembered his name to give him a shoutout! Fried pickles, whiskey banana split and Coors light all exceeded expectations. Service was fast. Movie was awesome, thanks in part to sound. Theyre competing with your home entertainment system, and theyre giving you a reason to get out. Not a cheap night out, but not outrageous for movie theater prices. I had a good time and wanna go back.

Gorgeous interior, beautiful bar and restaurant area inside and blown up old movie posters are framed everywhere. The food was pretty good, the drinks nice and strong, and they even selected a couple drinks that were themed for the movie we saw. Overall a great experience!

Weve been going to the Sloans Lake Alamo Drafthouse for some time, but the Big Show here in the Westminster one really takes the cake. I love the reclining seats and individual tables. Huge screen, great sound. Will absolutely be back to see whats playing next on the big screen!

Really great location if youre in Westminster, Wheat Ridge, or even Boulder. The bar is really beautiful and the drinks are great too. Of course the movies are great but the big show is awesome for all Blockbuster saga movies.

Love the convenience and opportunity to just head right back to the theatre, have a considerate wait person attend to food and drinks. Its pretty sweet overall. Only complaint I have is that those seats could be more comfortable.

Always a great experience here! This sets a new standard for movie experiences, as tickets are cheap, the theaters are clean and comfortable, and the customer service is outstanding. Plus because of the established noise rules, Ive never had any issues with other movie-goers.I live right by an AMC but drive the extra distance to hit the Alamo. You wont regret it!

This place has an amazing atmosphere. Its a perfect mesh of a movie theater with a comic book store feel and nostalgia of an old time movie theater. Plus beer and food is delivered to your seat as you watch a movie... amazing!!!

What a great venue! Saw a silent film with a live band providing the musical score after a brief presentation on the films historical context and significance. So cool.

The best movie theater. We used to go to the one in Denver but switched to this one because they have reclining seats. Love the food and the service. Don’t miss the short informative videos that Alamo creates for each movie and plays before the feature, they are very interesting and fun.

Decent food. Good service. No frills sound and picture. If your looking for high end audio and picture this is not the place. However if you want a good spot to catch a flick with a wide selection of food and drink its perfect! Drink orders need to arrive faster though.

Reasonable prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages (I dont drink so I didnt notice alcohol pricing). Movie prices were comparable and the atmosphere is very cool. It had a very old school theater vibe...when going to the movies was an event.

The name Alamo Drafthouse has entered the cultural zeitgeist with such bravado that it now has become the defacto standard against which other cinemas are compared. When you go to the Alamo, theres a comfort in knowing that youll have comfortable seating that youre happy with, a palatable food+drink selection, and an effective no talking policy that your moving going neighbors voice along with you in a silent solidarity. When I discovered that an Alamo was going up in Westminster, I was ecstatic and eager to pick back up my movie going habits. After much anticipation, I can happily confirm that the wait was worth it and this theater meets (and sometimes exceeds) the expectations of quality that the name Alamo carries. Im looking forward to my next viewing here, and many more to come.

Food took a very large long time to receive. 3/4 of the way thru the movie we finally got it and it was over cooked. Pizza crust was hard as a rock and the chicken was just as bad. We like the location and the comfort of the seats. Just will not be eating any meals here again.

Amazing food and drinks. Great service staff, very friendly. Nice recliner seats, could be better. Overall, this is the only theater I like going to anymore. Can get expensive. Star Wars on ‘big show’ 3D, with an entree, cocktail, beer, + tip was about $65/person. Sometimes I miss the days of twilight movies for $6 at AMC.

IT (Alamo ) is quite possibly the best theatre experience I have ever had at the BIG SHOW. Beautiful modern design with elegant flare, excellent sound and film quality. IT (film) is quite possibly the best scary movie I’ve seen in a while. Now go see some movies “fat boy”.

This was my first time ever visiting an Alamo Draft House. While it wasnt quite the fantasy theatre my friends made it out to be, it was a very fun experience and a nice change of pace from a normal theater. The pre-movie info reels were super fun if youre really into the background of whatever film youre seeing.

The seats here are awesome. They partially recline which makes them even better. Food is a bit expensive but pretty good. I wouldn’t order a mixed drink here. They are 0-2 getting them right. That being said Alamo is the only way to see a movie.

Went every week until they became to children friendly. Was a great place to get away and actually be an adult but no more. Their kids movies now play all day everyday so now its just like the other theaters in town.

I really like this place! Friendly staff, good food. The only complaint/warning I have is that the seats are not very friendly for bigger folks. I wish the arm tables could swivel out of the way. I waited for the theater to be completely empty before I tried to pry myself lose like a fat cat trying to squeeze out the cat flap! But everything else was great.

I really like the Alamo Drafthouse and how close this location is to where I live, but its hard to want to keep coming to this location when staff do not check on us. We sat down and started looking through the menu, yet no one came to confirm our seats or to take our order. We were past the previews and 15 minutes into the movie when I flagged someone down. If I hadnt done that, I doubt we would have received any service, yet they were checking on the guests that were on either side of us. So I do not understand why we were never acknowledged. And this isnt the first time this has happened. The first time this happened at a different movie I had reminded one of the servers we had ordered popcorn and still never received it. Maybe its the slips of paper and how far down the sink in the slots. Perhaps something that sits a little higher up on the tables will help with visibility when it gets dark for the movie. But I also believe a little extra hospitality to every guest, no matter if youve checked on them or not, will help cover any potentially missed guests.

Very nice staff and theater! Be sure to count your change given back on your check though. We were shorted only $3 and never said anything. It was probably was just an oversight and I still have every intention of going back

Had great time taking my 7 year old to watch Tremors.They have little gifts such as fake cigarettes, party poppers, and a key chain.My son and my friends daughter was invited to playa little game on the stage and won some movie tickets!Made my guys night out with my son a night to remember.

The best movie theater I have ever seen or been to. I was so happy with my visit that I booked another movie for the next day. Clean and brand new, seats are comfy and recline, table to play your food and drink. The service bringing your food to your table is awesome. The place is well taken care of, the food is excellent, and the people at the front are really friendly and seem to really enjoy being there. I dont get out to the movies often, but when I do, I always try to to go to this Alamo Drafthouse

Tried to order a side of fries, waiter says our entree already comes with fries so we dont get any. When the meal comes no fries. So we order some and then never get them. Had to remind waiter and only got them in the last 10 minutes of the movie. Least impressed Ive been with Alamo. Wont be back here. Sloans lake is better.

Unique little movie theatre, very intimate setting, kinda like being at home cuddled up with your boo in front of a huge TV. The food was pretty good, and the whole restaurant meets movie theatre meets bar was very interesting, but we really enjoyed our experience.

Great concept. Friendly staff. Food was as expected and nice selection of adult beverages.My only complaint was that the movie was obscenely loud and definitely diminished the experience for both of us. Maybe they were just excited to have such a nice sound system; however, Im unlikely to go back.

I really wanted to like this theater. Unfortunately, my whole experience was marred by the fact that we ordered food and drinks 15 minutes before the2 hour movie started, and never received it. The server showed up 90 minutes into the movie with a bill when we told him we never got anything.This affected the entire experience, because 1) During the whole second half of the movie I was wondering in the back of my mind if they were ever going to bring our order. 2) We didnt eat dinner, planning to have it at the theater. So I was hungry throughout the whole movie I came to enjoy. 3) My partner and I didnt know what to do about it 75 minutes in, but didnt want to leave to find someone and ask because we came to see the movie! So I was distracted from the experience I came for, and left feeling let down.I dont really want the server to get in trouble, Im sure he was doing his best, but it was just a wholly disappointing experience.Still 3 stars because I like the theater, the seats are comfortable, the process is streamlined, and the picture and sound are crisp and full.

Fun big movie era posters. Fun before movie shorts tied to theme of the movie. Food and drink service at your seat. No nonsense policy regarding cell usage and talking during the movie. Definitely a quality movie house experience. Check it out.

I have zero complaints. Love the rule that disallows kids under 6 and the hardcore quiet mode they enforce. First time going, I was highly impressed. The niche festivals and events they have also look fun. The buffalo cauliflower was dope.

Love the Alamo Drafthouse! We have seen a few movies here now, a couple in their standard theaters and one in the big show. The seating is comfy reclining chairs and they have a great food and drink menu while you enjoy the show. The parmesan truffle popcorn is delicious! And we tried one of the adult milkshakes last time which was also great. Its worth signing up for their rewards program, you get a free movie for your birthday!
