Its been renovated since I stayed there over 25 years ago! We were staying at their sister property the Hotel Maria and wanted to stay another night but they were booked. They ended up having a cancellation at the Breezeway Resort and since they are affiliated, we took it. We liked it a lot. It was a King size bed with a pullout couch, mini fridge and microwave. It was very clean and spacious. It has rights to the beach so you can drive your car right there no extra cost and has a refreshing pool. The only issue was with the breakfast. Due to covid, the included breakfast is now made for you and you are given a half hour window to pick it up. It was a half hour later than the window and they had run out of coffee twice. That being said, everyone has to adapt a bit during this pandemic. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and kind!!!

Great location. Room was clean,, grounds were well kept. Front desk people were very nice. The free bicycle loaners are awesome since the surrounding streets are low traffic and no hills! Makes for a nice relaxing ride after breakfast. Beach parking pass included with room. Breakfast was good.. bagels, yogurt, cereal, etc.. All good, nice stay, will stay again.

I couldnt be happier with my stay at the Breezeway Resort. From start to finish, the vacation was perfect. They had an easy contact free check in and check out process, and easy contact free breakfast process. The room was clean, bright, and spacious enough. The pool was to die for - heated but not overly so. They have a private beach and provided us with a beach parking pass. But what sets the resort apart from other resorts is how welcoming they made us feel. They offer a level of hospitality that few others offer. This resort is hands down one of our favorites. We cant wait to return again!

Instantly on arrival I noticed the meticulous landscaping and healthy plants & flowers surrounding us that gave it a charming & cozy appeal with a resort like feel for such a small area to work with. Walkways, fountains, pool & lounge all impeccably clean like the entire property! Great staff! Awesome coffee and breakfast setup. Clean & sanitized rooms! Definitely returning!! All those leaving under a 5 probably only pick & complain everywhere and never compliment and Breezeway and it’s staff deserve nothing less than a 5.

Our second stay and we absolutely love Breezeway. Clean, family friendly and the most friendly staff. The private beach is amazing! The pool is clean and spacious. The grounds are beautiful. We will always stay at Breezeway going forward.

Great location, very nice room, a great heated pool, and very friendly, accommodating staff. We loved the private beach and the bikes the hotel had for guests. We will be back regularly.

This is our 2nd time staying here. Staff was very accomodating. Beach access and bathroom were convenient. Room was super clean. And the glorious morning muffins are a must have in the a.m.

Pool closes at 8pm. Otherwise room was clean and tidy. Any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner

Have not been here at all but by looking at the Google map and reading other reviews, id have to say that this place seems nice! Check it out yourselves or do what I did and enjoy it from sitting on your bedroom floor Google searching places like this and daydreaming of being there. I cant do too much do to Covid19 so this is it!!! What a life!!

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Well manicured and private grounds with a great flower scent when chilling on your porch. Private beach on Atlantic Ave. Stuff to do when youre not at the beach including pool. Close to everything. Just got back from July 4th stay, 2nd year in a row.

This place was wonderful! We stayed for two days and while the pool looked nice we never used it because the beach was soooo close. The staff was phenomenal: friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and cozy. The grounds were very well kept! We loved the private beach parking and bathroom - right there!!! This is a must stay!!!

This is my second stay here. The grounds are lovely, it’s quiet and relaxing. The rooms, while tiny, are super clean, they do a great job with that. The breakfast is free and is decent for a free breakfast. It’s family friendly and they keep the pool at a nice, warm temp. I would absolutely recommend it for a little getaway. The complaints I have are really policy and service related. 1. Even though the hotel wasn’t full and there were plenty of parking spots, you must pay $20 for a second car to park. There are plenty of spots, so it doesn’t feel fair. 2. The front desk staff is not warm. I booked a second night and there was a mistake between a king and queen bed price of $10 on hotels.com vs their price. The hotel was pretty empty and they were really going to have me move to an entire new room, for $10! I’m a repeat customer and have also stayed at their sister hotel The Maria. I could understand if the hotel was sold out, but it was pretty empty that night and with the high summer rates, you’d think the $10 would be a non issue if you want to build customer loyalty.

We’ve been coming to the Breezeway for 15 years. We try to plan a get away every couple of years to RI. They have always maintained their property w/ great care. The grounds and the rooms are immaculate. That hasn’t changed and I’m certain never will. Staff is always friendly - walking distance to beach. Also far enough away to have quiet evenings away from the beach crowd.

Always a dream, as usual! We have been staying at the Breezeway for many years, and will continue. The staff is absolutely so humble and amazing. The owners are always willing to talk to you. The whole property is kept immaculately clean 24/7 365. We cant wait to return year after year!

The hotel was really well kept with nice rooms and thoughtful touches. They gave you pool towels in a canvas tote. We used the beach after we checked out and could have arranged for a place to shower if needed. Private beach was great. Very family friendly.

Its a great place and in a great spot of town. Private Beach is a Godsend. Only issue is that I would have liked a kitchenette. Just gets to be a little expensive to eat out every night. Otherwise a great place to stay. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks again.

Overall the hotel and staff was great. We booked the hospitality suite and were pleased by the views of the unit. We were suddenly disappointed when it came time to sleep. The pull out couch mattress has a bar that digs through the mattress. The table/bed conversion... the mattress is equivalent to sleeping on the actual table top. Hotel breakfast.. was great fresh warm bagels and muffins every morning with yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Good coffee!

Very clean rooms, friendly staff and up kept grounds. Few blocks from beach, but they have parking, bathroom access and a private section on the beach roped off for patrons that worked just fine. Great place for our weekend getaway, would definitely book again.

My wife and I stayed with our two boys and could not have had a better time. Everything was great from the service to the rooms. We especially loved the pool!We will definitely be coming back again!

Overall, a great two-day stay at the Breezeway. The rooms were clean and cleaned well in between days. The grounds are wicked quaint and well maintained. Breakfast comes with your stay - nothing over the top: toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, milk, coffee and juice. This is a great place with easy access to the beach. The bonus would be the private parking and bathrooms on the beach. We would come back!

This was our second stay here. We love the staff! The rooms are updated and very comfy! Beautiful bathrooms and a refrigerator in the room! Good size closet and plenty of drawer space! The breakfast is plentiful and the coffee is good! Also love the private beach area. No hassle parking! Just a few minutes away. We will be going back next season!

Loved it here! They allowed us to check in early to the room which was awesome. They also have bikes you can rent out for free. The room was super clean. Also after you check out you are still allowed access to the private beach, parking, and the pool. 100% will be coming back and would reccomend!

A two story building with entrances to the rooms off the walkway and balcony.Children friendly, with a built-in pool, and playground.Private parking and separate houses for rent. The houses are completely furnished with a full kitchen. 2-3 bedroom with full bathroom.Short walk to private beach with parking lot.New building right on beach, it was under construction when we were there.

Amazing find in Westerly! It was the perfect escape from New York City for the weekend! The room was beautiful, the property spotless, and the service fantastic! Lexi was especially helpful prior to and during our visit and made sure we got the corner room (most private) for our anniversary! They even welcomed us with a lovely card and wine! These special touches really made our trip amazing! We will certainly be back again! Great place!!!

Great hotel near the beach. The rooms were cute and very clean. We enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool. Would definitely stay again! The only thing that could use updating is the bed.

Everyone was very friendly, room was very clean, and a few blocks from the beach. You have access to beach / parking through a key card which also has its own bathrooms and shower. Can’t ask for anything better. We didn’t use the pool but it looked wonderful.

Clean, spacious rooms. Great housekeeping & customer service. Grounds are immaculate and love the private access to the beach with facilities. Weve stayed a few years and enjoyed it. The price is a little high, but you pay for what you get in comparison to other hotels in Westerly. The only complaint this year was the pool. It was very warm (& almost slimy) and didnt appear very clean in comparison to past years.

Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and thoughtful items, such as a washcloth for taking off makeup, diffuser for the hairdryer, beach bag with towels, and lawn chairs for each room. The pool is heated with a nice upper deck area. They are also a short walk from their private beach, which is lovely. I look forward to coming back!

Resembles a roadside motel. Over priced and not walking distance to beach if youre lugging a cooler and beach chairs. Has a beach parking lot the is occupied by construction equipment. Did not stay after seeing room and staff refused a refund. Had to call bank. If you dont mind the moldy smell and old school typical bedding youll love this place after a few bottles of whiskey..

Jus got back from a 2 night stay at the Breezeway Resort and I cant say enough positive things about this place! The rooms were spotless,the maid service actually folded one of my shirts that I had left on a chair!! The grounds are impeccably kept(like a golf course) everyone on the staff was beyond friendly! I cant wait to go back!

This is a family resort walking distance to the beach . Super accommodating

Me and my boyfriend visited breezeway resort for memorial day weekend. The room was cozy and clean. The staff was very warm and helpful. The food around is very good and the prices are reasonable. The only reason why I’m giving Breezeway 4 stars is because they do not keep water in the mini fridge. Yes, you can by bottled water for $2.00 but once the receptionist is gone (between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM) there’s no vending machine available or anywhere to buy water. You seriously don’t want to pay for a nice room and drink tap water. I hope they take care of this inconvenience in the future.

This place is fantastic with prime location at the beach. The passengers really take good care of the property. I would definitely come back again and refer it to friends

We highly recommend this hotel/resort! This was one of the cleanest, most pleasant hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. The beach was only a few blocks away, and the walk there was very easy. They are accommodating to your every need. Very family friendly and couple friendly. The owners and staff were very pleasant and helpful to everyone. The private beach and private parking was great, especially since the rest of the beach and parking areas were very crowded over the weekend due to the awesome weather. The pictures on their website are exactly the way the rooms look, absolutely beautiful! There is absolutely no false advertising. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their resort. We cant wait to go back again; already looking to reserve another long weekend there!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Had the BEST experience in Westerly when we stayed at the Breezeway. Lady at the front desk was extremely kind, professional, and informative. Rooms were very clean and perfect size. Came up to Westerly for my birthday with my boyfriend and had the perfect day. The Breezeway offers guests their own clean, private spot on the beach along with private bathrooms right on the beach which are very well kept. Less than a ten minute walk from the resort to the beach! Beautiful pool and overall AMAZING atmosphere at the resort. They even have bikes that you can ride for FREE! This spot is a hidden gem! We plan to come back and stay at the Breezeway Resort every time we come to Misquamicut! Fantastic experience! Thank you Breezeway Resort for a fabulous birthday!! See you soon!

Pleasant staff. Terrific private beach. Nice pool. One caution. Mind the kids in the parking lot.Kids get excited and run across the parking lot to the pool. The breakfast selection could use some more imagination. Those are just minor points about a great resort motel.

Best place in beach area

This place is a Gem. Going there tomorrow and I know my stay will be just as wonderful as it was last year. the place is clean. The staff is so nice. The grounds are very well kept. If you are going to this beach, you are staying in this hotel. Trust me, you will be much happier than anywhere else.

Well I hate to say negative things but when Im paying good money oh well. I arrived feeling stressed due to family matters I thought when I pulled up to the hotel I could breath .I walk in and was greeted like crap. The attitude of the young blonde lady was shocking. I was going to leave but didnt. The pool was ice cold . T hey put a sign up that said heater was broken well fix it. The room was so small we asked for a king . We met family there also and there was blood on a family members duvets cover. She told them at the desk about the blood they said we will take 50 off your bill. Blood really 50 dollars. My family wont be going back. Really nasty people.

We have stayed here the past 3 years. We have two children and they love the heated pool. My wife loves the beach and the shopping at Watch Hill which is right next door. We all love the continental breakfast w/ toast, English muffins, bagels, blue berry and corn muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, excellent coffee and juices. The staff is so friendly and considerate. You can really tell that they love their jobs and take pride in it. The grounds are well manicured and the buildings are beautifully maintained. Their staff does not stop all day and they always have a pleasant demeanor. The rooms are comfortable and recently renovated so the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and clean. Well worth the price! We are making Breezeway Resort a tradition in our family.

Stylish, groomed grounds. Clean, nicely attired rooms. The whole place is meticulously tended to. Can choose between beachfront or pool area for stay. The private beach, the rooftop pool deck, the fountains, sprawled layout of different buildings, the neighborhood make for an optimal combination of laid back and resort vibes. My kids and their friends freely and safely roamed the grounds between the pool area and the beach. You are always close to Atlantic Ave with affordable eats and ice cream nearby. We all took advantage of the free bicycles, where it was so easy to ride around all the scenic locations. The service was very attentive. Our room, 220, with a huge, private deck was such a nice place to hang out. It was adjacent to the lobby/breakast area, which is a welcoming area for coffee, juice, and morning goodies. Were coming back same time, next year. My wife and I think this place is the best value for a seaside vacation after having vacationed beachfront at Cape Cod, other MA, NH, and ME locations.

We just returned from our 5th stay at Breezeway since 2010. My family loves this resort. The rooms are immaculate, the grounds are immaculate and they are well-maintained. The continental breakfast is delicious- everything from fresh muffins, cereal, bagels, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, juice, milk, regular and decaf coffee. The hard-working lady in charge of the continental breakfast was constantly refilling items, brewing extra coffee, and cleaning the tables so the next family had a nice experience as well. The pool is lovely, relaxing. Breezeway provides each room with a bag of 4 beach towels that can be used and once they are dirty all you have to do is bring them to the office and they exchange them for fresh clean ones (over and over). With a family its so nice to not have to deal with wet, sandy towels hanging around the room to dry. The beach is amazing, clean and less crowed than the rest of the beach. What a convenience to have a private parking lot only accessible to Breezeway and Marias Suites guests - along with the use of umbrellas and beach chairs. A lifeguard is on duty at the beach as well. The young ladies and men working at the beach and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful. The grounds feel like home - comfortable and safe. At night they are beautifully lit with warm lighting and colored lights on the fountains. Over the years whenever we have had any issues or questions with the room the staff answered them or solved the issue immediately. A few years back the air conditioning unit in our room stopped working and withing 30 minutes maintenance was there replacing the unit with a brand new one! Even on the day of checkout the facilities are available guests for that afternoon. You can stay at the pool or go to the beach and return to the office area to use the facilities to clean up before leaving. Before we left we headed off to an amazing lunch at Marias Seaside Cafe (so happy it is open again after having to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy). My son, who was just 6 when we first visited, talks a lot about how much he loves visiting there. Cant wait until we can go back. I would highly recommend Breezeway Resort to families or couples looking to get away for a wonderful vacation.

The property itself is 5 stars all the way they lost a star for breakfast its a continental breakfast not real breakfast so if your looking to get a real breakfast when you wake up this is not the place but their property is wonderful.

Continental breakfast, better at a motel 8. Rude cleaning crew, yes we understand spanish. Where was the manager all weekend with the wedding party keeping us up till 5am and then partying in parking lot at 8am. Shouldve been told of it before booking or at check in.
