Casino was great. Love the safety measures taken. Played all night on $80. Machine kept winning!! But the hotel was horrible small Jacuzzi suite for $300 a night a bed a tub a TV small bathroom. Never again!!!

This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any hotel or casino, and I travel the world on a regular basis. The room was dirty and disgusting. Parking is limited. Worst of all, the staff does not care in the slightest about your needs. They are rude and have bad attitudes. I left a very expensive pair of headphones in my room, and I have been trying to retrieve them if possible. I have called five times to see if they were found and the front desk staff just treats me with absolute disrespect and unkindness. All they do is put me on hold and pretend to go look with no response whether my headphones, which cost more than a night stay, were found. It’s as though they found them and stole them and don’t want to deal with me. I am 100% unsatisfied with my experience at this casino. Stay away!UPDATE: Management reached out to me because of my reviews and told me they would do everything they could to make this right, BUT then I never heard from them again. Still unresolved.

This hotel is a Health Hazard. I was on 3 day drive across country. Shower didnt work, sink didnt drain what appears to be mold in shower. Front desk said it was my fault should complained earlier. I have 25 years experience in hotel industry. First time ever writing review.

I have never been so disappointed as I was staying at the nugget.1. Our room was originally on m 2nd floor, the elevator button didnt work and only took us to skylight. The girl switched us to the 1st floor.2. There was no hot water.3. There was no fridge.4. There was no microwave.5. There was no coffee pot.6. The next day went to get a receipt and the guy didnt ask my name and printed out wrong receipt.

Been waiting for the passport clerk for over an hour to to get my card replaced because I lost my membership card but never showed up, I had a cashier lady called him on the walkie talkies and I was told he will be right over waited for another half hour but still no show so I asked the guy that scanned folks for temperature and he also went to look for him and he said he was on a way so I waited again for a good 45minutes but still no show so at this time I need it to go to the restroom after maybe hell be back by then but still no one but happen to run in to the scanner guy again and he said oh i think he is around here somewhere but he doesnt know where, waited for another 20 minutes then I got a tired and went across a street to get a room there and play there instead...wow wow is all I can say

My first time in Wendover, Nevada. The Nugget is a nice place to play. Not too crowded but enough people to have fun. The cocktail waitress kept the drinks coming just right. Food was not bad at the cafe either. Ill be back!

Its an OK casino and resort they even have covered garage parking and free WiFi inside the floor.Just the Starbucks inside is closing at 7pm and overall they are not too friendly to us using a laptop or tablet for sports book racing or games as they wont make it easy to allow us access to power outlets or tables where we could use a laptop.In all Ill avoid the place for better ones in Vegas.

Room was advertised at $135 but ended up being closer to $200, had no cable and no discount for it, the staff was rude, beds were lumpy and lopsided, no fridge, no coffee maker, shower head sprayed out the side over the curtain and on the floor, every power outlet was loose and plugs would fall out, nowhere to park while checking in so we had to drag our bags from parking on opposite side of the building and cocktail waitresses in the casino were few and far between.

The Casino is nice! The employees are rude and the waiters who are Latino are the most rude ! The buffet employees are so unfriendly, was tons of flies around of the food, and I express my concerns to the employees around of the food and they was like they doesn’t care !! Never ever I will make a reservation or eat there ! Very expensive and the customer service have poor actitud around customers ! I also ask for the manager and the employees was saying “I don’t know”! Never again!

After traveling over a thousand miles for business our finally destination was the West Wendover Nugget. Having never been there we were excited to relax once the business was done. We checked in late this past Friday night/Saturday morning. The young girl at the registration desk offered no greeting. We were given the room key to M214, what a dump! There was stains in the carpet and cigarette burns as well! The balcony door didnt lock. The ceiling was brown in color and looked like it was going to cave in. What a shame that you would even offer this room to anyone. Next time we are there for business, we will not be staying there! Very disappointed!

First time to stay and play in Wendover and we love the Nugget! Not too crowded, friendly staff, great slots, and delicious food! Well be back for more 1 Club rewards!!!

My wife and I stayed here last night. I wish I could say the hotel room was great. But the only thing great about the room was the jacuzzi in the room. The bed wasnt too bad nor great either. The pillows were anything but comfortable and the bed sheet and comforter were of sand paper like quality. The showerhead in the bathroom was busted almost falling apart. The ceiling seemed to have alot of water damage and all the wall paper was peeling. But besides that the stay was great. Front desk was very nice. I am sure this hotel would have been something amazing 30 or more years ago. I am pretty sure next time Ill probably stay at montego since rooms were slightly cheaper and the hotel is newer and they have plush bedding. But still if by some chance I find the nugget cheaper than montego bay I may stay there but next time Ill most definitely bring my own bed sheets, pillows, and comforter. Honestly I paid the same amount to stay at Venetian in Las Vegas and the room quality is amazing there a solid 10 there.

Elevator broke and they refused to help me with my bags. I asked for a bathtub plug, never got it. Outlets only kinda work so my phone was never fully charged. Rude front desk.

It needs to hire better people in security cause they Keep hiring purple that end up stealing from the customers. And they dont seen to fire then or even punish them.

The casino itself is alright, but our hotel stay was awful! We were told we were getting a non-smoking room, but nope! Cigarette smoke kept coming in from the air vents. I had a terrible nights sleep because of this and the room smelled like smoke the entire time! Skip staying here!

My favorite Casino! My husband and I usually come here for our Anniversary. Its never too crowded and I love their jacuzzis the best out of everyones.

The buffet is the worst place I have ever eaten. If you go to Wendover eat anywhere but the Nugget, buffet or restaurants they all have the worst tasting food. Service isnt much better. People are very rude, I will never go to that casino ever again!!

Terrible! Front desk is not friendly. Not rude, just not welcoming. We had a room that didnt have a working faucet. The ice machine has been broken so long they just wrote out of order in sharpie. We were on the 8th floor and the elevator stopped working. We told the front desk and they just laughed and said it happens a lot and gave us directions to the stairs. If we go back it wont be there. Casino part was ok.

Rooms are clean. Food is decent. Had to go to another hotel for the buffet but the cafe is good size. Mondays are pretty dead in the hotel, casino, and the buffet is shut down. Got the jetted tub room had to walk quite a ways to get to it. Come to find out it was on top of VIP services on the main floor.

I dont know exactly why the smoking rooms are so awful when it is the same price for a non smoking. So basically I vape and spend the same amount of money a non smoker does for a room and hallway that is literally falling apart. Not staying here again. Not worth the money when for the same price I could stay in a room not falling apart and from the 60s.

Wendover has the best staff and entertainment with Pro DJs on Fri and Sat and live bands on occasion. The tables are packed and same odds as any place. The air ventilation can get better hopefully. If you want to breathe free cigarette smoke, this is the place for you. Its as if they make no effort to filter the air. Outside, its Crystal Clear and Breezy. Inside, its a dense smoke which fills the entire casino, including the Starbucks.

I booked a “suite” here for a night and the toilet doesn’t work at all!!!! The back of the remote is taped on with duck tape and there is no vent cover on the air duct. I went down to the front desk multiple times and they told me a technician would be up! It’s 1:34 in the morning and the technician finally came! My room is filthy! I also ate at there little cafe and the wall next to the booth is splattered with grease and food! Also there is lots of children here I would never ever ever wish this hotel room on my worst enemy!!!

This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in in Wendover Nevada... Our room was the very last room at the hotel so not only wasnt on the top floor but it was the farthest away from the casino, the room was smoking (we dont smoke) it didnt smell like one though :) however no fridge or microwave, and the room was very small and very cramped, as you can see in the pictures the bathroom had a shower which you could touch with your feet from the toilet you had to shut the bathroom door so you could use the toilet. I usually try to be nice and take the sheets off the bed for housekeeping, but after you can see and the pictures as well the mattress pad underneath the sheet was horrible looks like what seems to be a urine stain and lots of hair and dirt: we usually stay at the Red Garter. Rooms are about the same price but so much nicer.

We found the room to be in terrible condition. If we had looked before booking we would have moved in. The manager wouldnt return my calls. Terrible place....choose a different place...not at all worth the charges!!

One of the worst bar staff Ive ever dealt and the security was very aggressive. The casino staff over all was good but the hotel is outdated and could use a remodel.

Ive stayed at the Nugget for years and always been pleased with the service now the new Managements in and guess what changes without even talking to the customers at least that I know of now theyve taken out coffee pots out of the rooms have no fridge is one of the best things that I would come here for was the sweet potato fries in the cafe there no longer available some people dont like changes I always thought the changes would be to improve things not to deteriorate them I know the next thing is going to be there big round tubs that everybody likes

Very very disappointed!! We usually stay at the rainbow or peppermill however the price at the nugget for a mini suite was too good to pass up. Well I will never stay at the nugget again.First off we requested a fridge for medication they were very prompt in getting this to us, the fridge didnt work. We waited a few hours to see if it would start to get cold. It never did we called to the front desk they informed us they didnt have anybody able to come check out the fridge and they didnt have a replacement so Im basically screwed for my meds. I had to get ice out of the machine every couple of hours to keep my meds cool!! The temperature control in the room didnt work, so we couldnt adjust the temp in the room at all! The sliding glass door to the balcony doesnt open at all so there was absolutely no option for fresh air. 2 of the 4 pillows felt like nothing more than cotton balls mashed in a pillowcase! The only available outlets are attached to the lamps they didnt work! The smell of mold and dirt was almost overwhelming the second the elevator door opened. Overall just a total disappointment waste of my time and money!!! Oh and no coffee pot in room!!Go elsewhere if you have that option.

The Nugget is the best casino in Wendover, from their faux forest down to delicious Trinos Tacos.

Make sure you check your luggage before you leave we found cockroaches in our stuff when we started to pack up to leave! Most of the lights didn’t even work in are room, and there was stains on are sheets! Won’t be staying here again and wouldnt recommend staying here!

About TWICE as expensive as it ought to be.The Climate Control did not work properly. NO COFFEE POT and NO refrigerator. I stayed 4 nights and Housekeeping NEVER ARRIVED my last day. My room was on the 8th floor in the Tower and only one of two elevators were operational and it was missing the standard Inspection informational panel (torn away) and the elevator was poorly lit ... although it WAS fast. The staff were nice and seemingly make an effort ...The whole Hotel is very run down and the Casino attracts about ONE QUARTER of the people that Mandalay Bay (across the street) does. The music selections played on their speaker system is undoubtedly one of the reasons for their unpopularity. Blackjack on the machines does NOT allow a player to Double Down or Split A Pair ... as opposed to the machines at Mandalay Bay, which do.One would be MUCH better off staying somewhere less expensive and visiting.

So very outdated, old, dumpy hotel. Paid way too much. Buffet was gross and was $65 for 2 people. Staff was polite, but never going there again.

If want to stay and gamble the Nugget is one of nicer places and reasonable in prices food and rooms. Ive stayed a lot never had bad experience, needs some updates but economy has been harsh to gambling establishments, but still nice weekend getaway.

Good place to visit

Have been staying here on my way to Wyoming but I guess new management sucks now don was very unprofessional and didnt know what he was doing. Wont stay there again wanted 20.00 dollars more than Expedia. Stay away I expect a deposit in Reno or Vegas not wendover!!!!! Joke

We usually take the fun bus and visit the Billards bar in this casino. Its located on the lower level below the penny slots and arrived on a Friday night @ 1000 pm. Bar was closed and no one had any idea why??. Its basically a gamble to find out if you can find out if pool is available. We enjoy pool but finding out we are a dying breed. No one in Utah plays billards anymore. Beware dont count on them being open!

Went here to eat at the buffet and checked to see if they was opened. Had wash my hands for dinner and went back to the buffet. I was two minutes after they shut down and they wouldnt let me in. There was still many people in there eating they still had plenty of food. I asked what are they going to do with the all the food left and they said probably throw it away. I just filled the situation was not handled correctly.
