I grew up in this neighborhood I remember riding my bike and building dirt jumps in the field that was there before they built Maple Meadows Park and at first the park was the best thing that happened to the neighborhood all the newest and best equipment the sliding bars just became a thing it was great but that was back in 1999 21 years ago now its out dated and always falling victim to vandalism I still live right across the street from the park and I will not take my son there it needs to be updated and bigger equipment for kids older than 3

This park is fun seemed safe even in the heart of wvc

So many memories of this place. Good and bad, but always a sanctuary. Not a very good area, but this park was like a mother to me. From climbing the equipment to throwing up shrooms in the corner of the wood chips, she was always there.

Fun, small neighborhood party. Its clean and decently maintained. It was painted by community volunteers and two professional artists (full disclosure I was one of them so Im biased) with custom murals that are colorful and playful.

Nice place for a little peace and quiet.

If you googled Splash Pad you wont find one here. I didnt expect one though it wouldve been nice. Theres a lot of broken glass here also... so maybe a splash pad would just be asking for more trouble. The best thing about this park, the art. Thats no reason to come unless you live nearby.

I live in the area, Its a nice little community park, its aging well and safe for kids. I would personally not traffic it at night (though its a safe area). I just dont suggest anyone traffic any parks at night in any city.
