I love this place, Ive seen so many great shows there ( ballet. Plays. Etc) ..., such a beautiful theater
The center itself is beautiful, and the combination of various stair ways and elevators makes getting to your seats very easy. The bars on multiple floors offer a decent variety at a reasonable price (for this kind of venue), though better options are available around the area. The amount of seating/tables within the center but OUTSIDE the actual theatre is nice just before the show and during intermission. In the theatre, the steep stadium seating design makes for a very good view from almost all seats, even if the seats themselves are a little narrow/hard/low-backed.The main complaint I have is that the sound is not very good in the mezzanine and upper levels, as they seem to fall in-line or above the acoustic panel. This experience during the show is why this can’t get five stars.
This is a beautiful theater. Ive seen a few different shows here and Ive had a great time each time Ive went. One show I seen I was high up in the balcony in one of back few rows and I could still see the entire stage with no problem. Another show I seen I was front in center, second row, center stage, right behind the band conductor and the view was phenomenal. No matter where you sit, youre guaranteed to have a great view and a good time. The theater is always clean and the ushers are volunteers which I didnt know until recently.
Hamilton. Excellent. Just excellent. In addition to the grandiose staircases, the little small bites and snack shop was actually surprisingly delicious! They had a few sandwich offerings and a hot dog - which I would have been exceedingly grateful for had our two kids been with us. Since they werent, we enjoyed the half sandwich and soup combo. We had the tuna on a croissant and the sweet potato soup was exceptional.
We had an event to cover here for a Mitzvah a couple of months back. This place is so nice. Staff was supportive and helpful. I have no problems recommending this place if someone asks
Last night I saw Hamilton. It was excellent. On the way to Kravis I tripped on a sidewalk and scraped my knee. The people at Kravis were wonderful. They cleaned off my scrape and were very kind. I might add, this did not happen on Kravis property. The gentleman who tended to my bruise was extremely knowledgeable about what to do and the other employees were wonderful. Thank you all for making it possible for me to enjoy the show.
I absolutely love the Kravis center.. Went to See Alvin Aley dancers.. Kirk Franklin, and This past Wednesday I saw Color Purple (the play). Loved it So Much. If You havent been to the Kravis center, take some time to Enjoy a show, concert, musicals, dancing, singing.. They really have a very Wide selection. And Always very reasonable in price. I will continue to Enjoy myself at the Kravis any chance I get. Desiree
We saw the Nutcracker and it was awesome! I wish the parking garage wasnt such a zoo to get out of, even with Police assistance, it was bad. I ubered home and left my car to get home in a timely manner. The theatre itself was amazing. They have a new screen for in between scenes. We were fortunate enough to get a backstage your and pics with a special friend.
One of the joys of attending a live music event is being able to share with friends very small excerpts of the music performed. Well, unless you are at Kravis Center... The ushers become gestapo-like and basically forbid you and they make a big stink... Not so at other live venues... And mind you, I am respectful of the artists and turn the flash off... And I stay in my seat and out of others line of vision. I truly dont intend to see another show at this venue. By the way, the show was excellent... I just know now to give my business to other venues. Nobody needs these petty hassles.
A regular subscriber for many years, the renovation is fantastic. The improved sound, new lobby areas and expanded interior is great but the valet operation needs a lot of work. I actually thought the old system was much better and even fun. ONE cashier window?????The small waiting area, very tight lanes, lack of staff coupled with the elder older demographic and LEFT TO RIGHT FLOW are a recipe for a disaster.
The performance we saw was great! If you want snacks or drinks it is a bit pricey. However, thats usually the case at theaters or ballets, so nothing out of the ordinary. I would still recommend eating perhaps before or after the show somewhere else. But the service is definitely good.
Wonderful performance, lovely staff and great venue. Went to see the Nutcracker with my 4 year old daughter and she loved it. Best first show for kids. It gets cold so pack a large scarf or sweater.
Newly renovated upscale theater in West Palm Beach - large, accommodating hundreds of patrons, with relatively large comfortable seating with amble legroom. Kravis is home to myriad of entertainments: dance, Broadway touring companies, concerts, etc. The Kravis is thoughtfully designed - fully accessible in all ways, with many different means of entry and parking. Food and drink are offered at prices less than other comparable theaters. Sandwiches, drinks, cocktails, coffee, and deserts are served an hour prior to curtain. Lovely volunteer ushers and kind, patient staff. Kravis serves its upscale location well. West Palm wouldnt be the same without it.
Excellent Performing Arts Center with a extensive event calendar of both on and off Broadway shows, music, special events and performances. Seating available on multiple levels and boxes. Show schedule can be found on their website. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office. Light refreshments and drinks available during performances in one of the lobby or Mezzanine bars/concession stands. Memberships are available. There is a main theater and a small theater, as well the Cohen Pavillion banquet facility with full AV capabilities for conferences and other special events. Catering at the Cohen Pavillion is provided by The Breakers. Exceptional staff and service in planning and facilitating events.
Beautiful place & well run. Valet was easy & quick. Bar service was also fast and friendly. The ushers were polite amd helpful. I enjoyed my time there and look forward to returning.
I went to see if fiddler on the roof. The performance was excellent! Kravis Center was easy to get to and parking was a breeze. We we did opt for valet parking which was $12. I was with two elderly patrons, one with a mild handicapped and navigating to our seats was easy. Even as high up as we were there was still a decent view of the stage. I would definitely go back.
Kravis is a top quality regional theater for Broadway and Off-Broadway tours, ballet and other great programming. A great place to take the family or a date. Lots of food options a few blocks away at City Place. Lots of parking garages nearby, and one at Kravis Center. I’d recommend parking on level 3 in the Kravis Garage if going to the theater as it is on the same floor.
Good venue, easy access and tastefully decorated. Ive been coming to the ballets here for the past 5 years and Kravis has been an enjoyable experience. I will say leave the parking lot with patience as it has a lot of traffic right when it lets out, and many elderly drivers.
I have been here twice this year and as my first time, I have to say that every seat is a good seat. Easy and FREE self-parking, have yet to get into major traffic to each venue and its so nice to see such a good cultural mix when coming to a show. I enjoy watching the elderly out for the night enjoying life. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I really enjoy coming here.
The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is a beautiful and absolutely stunning entertainment venue. It is located across from the City Place Center at Rosemary Square (also under renovation). It is also near one of the largest Renovation Hardware locations in the country.Ample parking is available with stair and elevator access. A very efficient box office greets all attendees. Inside is a significant but friendly security detail (sign of the times). Once inside, a very expansive lobby with several service bars, restrooms, and helpful hosts throughout the venue. We attended the Miami City Ballet Company production of Slaughter in 10th Street. The young and energetic dancers performed brilliantly in three acts. We sat center stage in the Loge. Though far away, the sightlines were wonderful. The orchestra was exceptional. We cant wait to return. It is clear that the Kravis Center is the heartbeat of the entertainment and social scene for The Palms.
Just saw the lion king absolutely love it. I can wait to see a nother play was really happy with the entire place including the valet believe it or not they got my car quick and fast the weather was horrible and it seemed to work out just fine the show was amazing we had great seats recommend seeing a show there in the future.
I just love to go to the events here ! The concerts, food tastings, and of course the ballets are so wonderful and beautifully done !Its a Christmas tradition for my daughter and I to attend The Nutcracker . Having dinner before the ballet overlooking the red poinsettia covered tree, all the little children dressed for the performance, add to the charm of this event . Of course its not the New York Ballet Co and many parts are given to the children, but the lack of an orchestra is hardly noticed due to the fun surroundings! Its just a lovely, elegant place!
The Kravis Center was so breathtaking. The performance superb. It seats approximately 2000 people in Dreyfoos Hall.
Lovely venue with neat, classy decor.
Seating good most locations. Acoustics too. Maybe staccato speech/songs were too quick to pick up. Dance & music orchestra very good.
The Kravis center is a beautiful place to see a show. The main hall is where we saw Hamilton last week. There really isnt a bad seat in the house.
Nice facilities. Very professional and helpful people that work at the venue
Worst venue ever. Saw Hamilton....or tried to see it. Show was fabulous but the seating is terrible. Seats are hard and too close together. There is barely any incline so all you can see are the fat heads of those in front of you. I felt like a sardine packed too tightly. People cant afford the prices for snacks so they sneak food in and chomp it loudly. It was hot in the theater. Bathrooms had looooong lines. Parking is a nightmare. Seats are empty upstairs in the balcony but those seats were not available at purchase time to the general public. Cannot fathom buying a season pass due to the lack of decent shows. Every other attendee was 90 years old so shows are for the dead, not the young. See Hamilton but go to NY.
Excellent acoustics. This is a great venue for theater, concerts, ballet. Good parking, which is free, and numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Newly renovated performing arts center! Its beautiful inside and clean! Valet parking available as well as a free 5 level garage. Mezzanine level has a bistro that serves mostly cold items that are premade. They open an hour and a half before each performance. Prices are $$$ so brace yourself.Great experience all around!! Will go back for other performances!!
The shows are great and the building is so beautiful. Love the cocktail hour before. Great evening with friends.
Lovely presentation by Young Singers. An annual event we dont miss. Place was packed!Voices were angelic.A most enjoyable evening.
Beyond Beautiful, Elegant, class, big, excellent location, parking free, or valet, everyone very professional, clean beautifully decorated for Christmas very organized. Excellent Symphony, and all venues. A must if you are in the area. Walking distance to Rosemary Square ( old city place) lots of Restaurants
Great place to see a show. Just wish the schedule was more diverse
Big place! Saw a jazz dinner in Presson hall and have to that there audio / acoustics were not the best. She sounded very tin canny and I know that wasnt her. Plus the lighting was on the fritz, even going off completely at one point ... Like they had a 12 year old at the lighting board saying, I wonder what this switch does ....?
Great selection of experiences for all tastes and ages. We saw Miami City ballet. Great.
Saw Fiddler on the roof today. The play was very good. The problem was we made the mistake of hanging food at the center. If you can remember airline food it assent even that good. No place to sit and prices were outrageousAll in all not a good experience. Kravis, clean up your act. We payed good money for not such a good time.
Beautifully done theater...especially with the recent upgrades.Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of theater seating and will assist in pointing you to the correct direction.A place to truly enjoy the arts.
What a beautiful center of art in the Palm Beaches. Excellent facility and beautiful, friendly people helping out patrons everywhere..
Beautiful facility. Great concert. Classic & popular music, dance, theater. Exiting the parking garage was a hassle. That was the only issue.
Love the new upgrades. I enjoy the theater. We go about 4-5 times a year. Always a good show.
Great medium size venue. Mezzanine feels far back. Recommend orchestra before mezzanine overhang. Free parking in structure.
Always a joy to visit and see amazing productions. The staff is so courteous and polite. The theater is beautiful with great seating from any angle.
We went there to see Terry Fator Show, it was awesome, we sat in the loge slightly to the left of the stage . Great seats I think all the seats in the center are good . Not far from the stage regardless of the show . We have seen his show in Las Vegas its more flashy with a band and back up singers, but here in our back yard it was awesome very funny.
Easy load in. Security and staff very helpful. Parking was free! Beautiful ballroom. Classy audience!
Went to opening night of Hamilton, which was AMAZING!! The average age of most attendees was about 65, most of whom were saying they didnt know the play was primarily rap nor could they understand it. Sat in Mezzanine, the view of the stage was great but the seats were EXTREMELY uncomfortable for all four persons in my party.
This is a distinctly wonderful venue. Excellent acoustics. Really excellent views from our seats.
Parking was easy. Venue was nice. Show was awesome. Easy to get out after the show.
The concert was great, lines at the bar were extremely long. The ushers were very helpful. Would be nice if you could have beverages in the preforming area. Just vape.
Saw Jim Gaffigan here in December 2019. The Kravis Center is absolutely beautiful! Very efficient staff and layout to finding our seats.
Nice concert hall. Great acustica. You can see stage from every sit. Highly recommend.
Hamilton was by far one of the most enjoyable plays I have seen in the past 3 years of us attending plays on Broadway.
Beautiful upscale setting. Great host for live shows. Surrounding shops ar great to get lost in
Just saw Turandot. Amazing performance! The renovations are beautiful and totally transformed the entry and reception!
Ive watched Chicago, Rent, and now Hamilton at the Kravis Center :DIts so great, the seats are very comfortable, and the theatre is so beautiful– I dont think theres a bad seat in the house :)
Wonderful venue, first-class with easy and plentiful free parking. Orchestra seats clearly preferable for best views and sound quality as upper levels surround the circumference of theater with little over-hang to lower levels.
Saw The Phantom of the Opera for the first time and feel like a changed man. The venue was fantastic and the staff was helpful and friendly. They do serve food an hour and a half prior to curtain - but it will be a bit expensive. I would suggest going to someplace in CityPlace adjacent to here if youre hungry before the show.
Always enjoy shows here when we can afford it. Sometimes a bit to very pricy, but thats the nature of the beast, its not the Kravitz Centers fault. Always a good time out for quality entertainment no matter which of the two theaters you attend. Some of the best things weve seen have been on the smaller of the two stages.
Patti LaBelle performance was great. Kravitz Center has great atmosphere to include comfortable sitting areas while awaiting show. Drinks available for sale.Accomodates special seating for disabilities. Best to call first. Different level parking area or valet parking available.
Great place to watch a concert. Intimate setting (Dreyfoos Hall - 2,200 seats) with excellent acoustics. We saw Shania Twain. She was amazing! The seats are set up so everyone has a good view of the stage, no matter where you sit. Have appetizers and a martini while sitting outside at the Blue Martini Bar beforehand. Or try one of the restaurants in the City Center. A reasonable walk (6-7 blocks) to the Kravis Center. There is a bus that travels the area, as well.
Modern, but classy. Excellent theater. Parking is busy, but adequate. Garage fills quickly.
My husband, myself and my two sisters and their husbands went to see The Play That Goes Wrong each of the three couples paid $140 to get into the play and all of us couldnt wait for the first intermission to get out of there and leave, a huge waste of money and there were other people leaving also!! Lots of discussion how horrible it was coming from the crowd.
The Lion King was magical. Even my husband enjoyed it. The costumes were wonderful and we both enjoyed the giraffes and elephants. If I had had a child with me I could see them getting very excited at watching this. Thank you Kravis for bringing this wonderful show to us.
The renovation is beautiful. A very nice lobby before the performance theatre.
Perfect sized venue with world class acts. Beautiful location and interior and construction seems to be improving on all of it. Can’t wait until is finished!
Hamilton was awesome! Such great stage presence, costumes, singing, and dancing - all that a play should be.
We had a great time seeing so you think you can dance live! The staff was very helpful to help us find our seats and it was very spacious in there!
Beautiful Place. Tosh.O was AWESOME!
Was invited to a luncheon. The atmosphere was wonderful the food was catered by the breakers everything was top quality and delicious and the service was impeccable. Had a fabulous and informative experience. Then went to see School of Rock. What a delightful day. From N.Y and a theater goer I am impressed with the top notch performances and the swift way you can exit. Come and enjoy yourself and please take those at an age they can sit and be mesmerized as I did when my mom took me to see South Pacific my first musical. WOW !That started me on the path of show stoppers..Enjoy! Put down the phone and open your eyes..
The theatre has great site lines and acoustics. The shows are Broadway quality and the musical groups bring me down memory lane.
The outside of the kKravis Center is beautiful. However, the walkway between the seats is not acceptable. They should have allocated more space to walk in between the seat and the seat in front.
Great times nice place but a log walk to get in.
Beautiful performanxe venue. Need to work on their valet parking system. Currently chaotic
Same show quality as a Broadway show in Manhattan was performed at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. CONGRATULATIOS
Its not the Met, but still a great place. Performances are superb.
Beautiful center only problem was the construction made it hard to find parking garage.
Nice venue. Generally not too difficult to find parking. Renovations seem to be coming along nicely.
Saw the Miami Dance Nutcracker. Modified version and loved it better than the original.
The Nutcracker show was spectacular! remarkable performance. The Orchestra was amazing.
Boston pops excelled. Good selection of music. Comfortable seating giid acoustics, enjoyable.
Between Miami, Broward and West Palm this is my location of choice to enjoy an upscale evening. The venue is much nicer than the one in Broward and has a nice selection of restaurants within a few minutes walk (and as a side benefit you dont get hustled by beggars when walking around the theater). The orchestra seats are great for the price and you get the upside of polite staff and a quick valet experience.
Wish they had signs leading way to NEW Valet parking. Wound up parking in garage (far walk). I couldnt find Handicapped parking.
I enjoyed the the Theatrical elements and Achitectural elements of the entrance on the exterior, particularly the brickwork in its variety of patterns and colors. These set the mood and prepares one for the joys to come.
I went here on a Saturday morning to purchase tickets to some shows. As a non-member I had to wait for this Saturday. They were so organized and very friendly. It was a great experience.
Elegant. Love that you can pre-order and pay for intermission drinks and snacks and they are ready for you on the counter! Looking forward to new lobby!
