You have to see this place! As a Florida native, and the daughter of a surfer, this place is just plain cool! They have information about the beginnings of surfing in Florida, as well as, the opportunity to speak with many of the local surfers who run the museum! Informational, chill environment, local artists on display, and crazy cool surfboards! Just a heads up, in the summer, it gets a little warm in there without a/c. But they do a good job using fans to keep the cool airflow going.
Such a well done photographic journey through the history of surf in Florida. I especially loved all of the surfboards on display. There also was an interesting video looping on a huge screen. It had a cool vibe and was uniquely constructed.

Really cool and fun environment. This is a nonprofit organization and they put a lot of work into making what it is today. I would have never thought there was so much history behind surfing. I simply believed it was just a water sport. Very educational for all!
Just a cool vibe place, if you need a space for an event you should think about it as it totally unique..
I just peeked in the windows but looks like a great place to visit. Grand opening is October 20th which is coming up, I plan to swing by. Lots of great surfing exhibits, and a big space and a well-designed space.
Awesome location- thank you Tom and gang for all your hard work to create an awesome Surf History Museum.
Locals at desk were so helpful and kind! Helping us to get around and enjoy our stay in Conway.
Place was very cool, had a lot more photos and surfboards than expected. They are open from 12-5pm. They also had a gift shop with t-shirts, canvas wraps and books for sale. Only a $5 donation to get in and has enough gallery panels with stories and information that takes about 5 hours to read it all if interested.
Make this a must...great people!!
Just love the nostalgia of this place and and the knowledge of staff
