Lived here for 4 years and had a great time and good friends.Moved to central Florida.Dont understand all the bad reviews lots of people were their only review on Google.Great place and highly recommend it. I think most recent bad reviews of the golf course are fake as you have to be a member or a guest to play.No mention of all the restaurants or other facilities.Looks like a gang of idiots got together to hit Ibis.

Absolutely, a must see. Karla in membership is awesome and her enthusiasm for the community is contagious. Visiting the property everyone, staff and residents were smiling and helpful. Im a Realtor and will be bringing my customers here for sure.

Horrible, they forgot our tee time. When we got out our cart died. Tried to call pro shop went to voicemail every time. Had to walk in. Did not have any carts left. Round took 6 hours. No rangers to help. Worst experience ever. Never play there if you can help it.

The pool has big yellow stains on the bottom, most of the time the leaves are there . Now there has been created a stock with unnecessary sun beds, maybe they don’t have anywhere else to keep them other than where we are supposed to rest. Water drinking station is rusted, the flowers and the flowers pots are not looked after- all this creates a feeling of disgust. You can see what needs fixing, replacement or at least cleaning.

Course was in ok shape but the mosquitos were so brutal. Can’t even tell you how bad it was. Our foursome and everyone we saw got absolutely crushed. bug spray for a reason...you are going to need it. We went through a whole can. Also the worst turkey sandwich I’ve ever had.

To say The Club at Ibis is a residential golf community is a gross understatement; it’s a community that relishes in a lifestyle that has it all. Behind the secure gates of this West Palm Beach community are 33 neighborhoods with over 1850 homes. Ibis is a mandatory membership community which boasts some of the finest conditioned golf courses, and recreational facilities in South Florida. Members must purchase at minimum a social Membership level, but when a golf Membership grants you access to three championship Nicklaus family-designed courses by Jack himself as well as sons Jack Jr. and Steve, why would you consider anything less? The Club at Ibis has also been recognized as one of Americas Healthiest Clubs by Prevo Health Solutions, and in 2017 Ibis received the highest numeric score the company has ever awarded. The centerpiece of the community are the three Nicklaus golf courses, which all play out of the same Clubhouse and seem to draw people together. As a Member, there is no need to get in your car and drive off property to play golf. Just hop in your own private golf cart, drive to the Clubhouse and play. It’s that simple…and convenient. The Legend Course was designed by the Golden Bear himself, while the Heritage Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus II and the Tradition Course was designed by son Steve. If you’re new to the game or are looking to improve, the professional staff at the Ibis Golf Academy can help put your game on the right path.In addition to fantastic golf, The Club at Ibis also has a world-class tennis operation. Their 16 Har-Tru tennis courts are designed with a sub-surface irrigation system and are fast-drying; they were specifically designed for senior players with comfort and playability in mind. The Club also features four new pickleball courts. The Club’s fitness center is stocked with a large selection of cardio equipment, strength building machines, and fitness classes; everything a Member needs to maintain a healthy body, mind, and spirit. When it comes to dining, The Club at Ibis offers Members and their guests a number of options, from casual to elegant. The Bistro offers comfortable seating inside and out and poolside dining is a Member favorite. The Bistro features an open kitchen design and is a popular choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you like to watch fellow Members play golf, The Atrium offers panoramic views of The Legend Course. The Pub has proven to be the go-to gathering place for Members and is the ultimate sports bar. The Pub features a full-length bar, multiple TVs, and table seating either inside or on their, 2,500-square-foot terrace. Should you choose to dine outside, The Pub Terrace overlooks the 10th and 18th holes of The Legend Course. If you’re looking to take your significant other somewhere special, Panache offers Members and their guests a fine dining experience similar to acclaimed restaurants in South Florida. If you’re looking for the opportunity to spread your cultural wings, the Club’s Cultural Association (ICA) offers 21 diverse clubs designed to enrich the lives of both Members and their invited guests. The Club at Ibis is also a great place to host your next family gathering or event and has the perfect space with accommodations for groups of 10 - 480.As I mentioned earlier, the Club at Ibis is a mandatory Membership community meaning new residents must join the club at one level or another. The club offers new residents four Membership categories to choose from; all built to suit their individual lifestyle needs. All Memberships include unlimited access to the fitness facilities, four unique dining venues, the spa, pool complex, pickleball, and a full calendar of social events. The club’s most popular Membership is their Premier Golf Membership and offers unlimited access to 54 holes of Nicklaus golf, the 20-acre practice facility, and 16 Har-Tru tennis courts. Other options include the Signature Golf, Tennis, and Social Sports Memberships. With this much to choose from, there is something for everyone.

I was a member and lived at Ibis last year. I moved out because I found the people there to be terrible and rude. Every time I would go out to the course I would get nasty looks from most people I drove by, even though I would wave and smile. Probably because I am younger than all the members. I lived there with my girlfriend, and she had a similar experience. They keep the golf course in good shape and the landscaping is fantastic. They clearly have plenty of money, however, the course was never as good as it should have been. Greens never got above a 9, and the fairways were always kept way too long. If you want a nice community to play golf with nice people, dont join ibis, trust me. Im a young professional golfer, and there is a reason why me and the other 3 young pro golfers got out of there. On the other hand I really liked a lot of the staff there, and they were very helpful. Ibis is geared toward a very specific kind of person, and its member owned and they dont want it any other way. This a fancy retirement home not a country club.

A Florida SweetheartThe Heritage golf course at the IBIS Golf & Country Club was voted the most women friendly golf course in America. This private country club is a wonderful legacy to Nicklaus, who designed it. Having played the course I found it to be ageless, beautiful, and fun, with a hint of sophistication and maturity. I played the course under ideal conditions. The temperature was in the mid 70s with very little wind. The Heritage has 5 sets of tee boxes. I played the Blue tees which has a slope rating of 70.4/131 at 6241 yards. The Black tees are the tips and its slope rating is 74.2/145 at 7062 yards. The Heritage is known for its substantial bunkers, and formidable water hazards. The fairways are plush, and the greens are relatively fast. I started on the tenth tee and gazing down its fairway the excitement was building, but I remained calm. The 10th tee has water coming into play on the left, and there are a few mounds and sand traps on the far right just before the OB stakes. The fairways are wide and manicured, so hitting them should be easy. I found it easier to lose focus and concentration on this course by admiring the luxurious homes and the tranquility of the course.  A par or birdie on 10 and 11 are a real confidence builder that I expected to last the rest of the round. Staying alert and be patient are your keys to success here. What I liked about playing this course is the pace of play, and that all the trouble is right in front of you. There are no hidden hazards or blind shots.  My favorite holes are 5, 12, and 17. For me they were the most beautiful as well as difficult. Playing 6241 yards is short by my standards, which means using a driver on every tee shot is not a good option. Therefore, long ball hitters should be comfortable using long irons, hybrids, and woods, or else move back one tee box based on handicap. I found that playing this course to be a fair test of my golfing skills. This sweetheart of a golf course rewards those who can keep the ball in the fairway and have a good short game. For me the most challenging part of the course was adapting to the long undulating, but short in depth greens, which were well protected by water and bunkers. On the par 4s you will have to make an accurate assessment of how far to hit your tee shot in order to avoid running into the water off the tee and being comfortable with your 2nd shot over water into the green. Finally, the bunkers are full of soft fluffy sand, which will bring out the best in your sand game or expose a serious weakness in your golfing skills. Be careful. After playing 18 holes I wanted to play more, but I also wanted to enjoy the fabulous clubhouse, and sampke one of its amazing dining facilities. Once your meal is complete make sure you get a tour of the clubhouse, pro shop, exercise room, sauna, swimming pool and hot tub. Be advised, there are several more amenities that makeup this marvelous active country club lifestyle. I really enjoyed The Heritage golf course at the IBIS Golf & Country Club and its my new sweetheart. One Happy GolferH Bell (Golf Enthusiast )

I wish I lived in Ibis country club !but I have been cleaning homes in there since 04My parents have a Home improvement company also there since 98 . Majority of the ppl Ive come across are European or Northerners but you will run into a celebrity or two . Alot of people live in ibis in season as there winter home and as they get older they settle there .for the most part there alot of younger couples also all depends on what part of Ibis you live in. Ibis also has there own apartments if you take the back entry you will see it to the right and that place is great and affordable and the apartments are beautiful.
