This community offers premier golf, tennis, pickle ball and other activities. There is a variety of home styles to consider, each offering unique architecture and theme. The cuisine is offered at four locations and is excellent. I have owned a home here for over 15 years and really appreciate this lifestyle.
If you compare Clubs, Real Estate, the care taken on common acreage, the Golf, Tennis and beauty of the property in the environment it is located in Im not sure you could find a better place to live if you are looking for a Country Club Environment. We live at Ibis and we would give it 5 stars but for a few things. The Pool Area with all the money they spent is not large enough and not impressive enough. I dont know who approved the design and size for the money they spent. The area you can sit down and eat or drink something is just not nice enough, large enough and they generally fell short with all the money they spent. Im not sure how many residents actually utilize that area. I have to imagine on holidays with families visiting the place must feel crowded. The food we think is quite good no complaints there. The Club House was re-done and looks very nice. They could do with a face lift to the main dining room and even though they are expanding what I think is the Pub or something at the Club House the entire facility for the size of the place should be bigger still. Compare Boca West to Ibis. Both are large places and Boca West has impressive facilities with no assessments. For the size of Ibis the facilities should be bigger and more impressive. The upside of Ibis is the Real Estate is beyond better then a place like Boca West. I compare both clubs based upon the size. We believe affordability for what you get is better then the other two Clubs in the area, BallenIsles and Mirasol. Its also about the people. Most we have met are very nice. The POA is on top of what occurs at the Club and is very responsive. I wish there was more Communication with The POA and the HOAs so that if there are disagreements the POA can step in and help the homeowner. I would say investigate the communities and determine before you buy if you want some of the services included in the HOA fees like Landscaping or you would prefer to live in a community where you can pick your own Landscaper. If we had it to do over again we would have wanted to pick our own Landscaper and one still can but you would still have to pay for the Community Landscaper in your HOA dues which in realty is not something we agree with and homeowners should be given the choice with a prorated fee schedule. Some are concerned about the distance from things outside the gate. The traffic is better and moves quicker then lets say Boca Raton and Delray and when you get use to the distance to things its really not bad. With the traffic around the locations above it probably takes the same time or just a little longer to get where you want to go in West Palm Beach/Palm Beach Gardens. I must say though the Boca / Delray area is more upscale. Its a little different feel there. We think the beauty of the place is really hard to beat. Its very nice. So when we decided to choose Ibis we took it all in to account and on balance its hard to beat.
Lived there for years and it is really nice but moved on to new construction outside of PB County.Really enjoyed it but we made a mistake on our part because we dont do enough activities to spend the big yearly bill and the.cost of eating there.Had a great time but moved on
