Nice park. Absolutely stunning community garden. Fly fishing was biteless and quiet, but nice day to be out on the river anyway.

Didnt hate it, just not open to everyone. Apparently, its ok for small children to have a soccer camp there but, not ok for children to play on their play structures. Also ok for young adult men to play basketball on the courts there but, again play sttuctures taped off. I left a voicemail regarding these discrepancies a month ago on the park & recs voicemail, you guessed it, no return call to explain the conflicting policies. Maybe the soccer camp pays a fee to the city????Oh, and locking the bathrooms, not smart City of West Linn. Place at least 1 porta potty there. Do the right thing. We as city citizens are still paying for city services, provide them!

It was so hot today we went looking for somewhere we could cool off and ended up here. It was better than I expected, including running water in the restroom. We had a blast and definitely cooled off!

A great family park. The first think you see is the two baseball diamonds, but dont stop there! There is a basketball court, a very nice playground with separate areas for older and younger kids, a community garden, a pier for fishing in the river, and a lovely wide paved walk with educational displays about a meteorite discovered in the area. Most facilities are wheelchair accessible, including a nice restroom facility near the ball fields, but not the playground. Two free parking areas. Dogs should be on a leash.

Diverse park for the whole family. Clean playground and bathrooms, beautiful riverside paved trails, and benches with scenic views throughout the park. Two well maintained baseball/softball fields and a community garden round out the park amenities. I will visit this tucked away gem again!

Quiet place to go for a walk, or to just get away with nature. You can tube, kayak, or canoe and catch some small rapids along the way. This park is for all ages with plenty picnic tables and places to chill all around.

Nice little park. My husband and I had time to kill before an appointment last spring, so we decided to check it out as we had passed it numerous times. Great walkways. The trail is pretty short so we continued on all around the perimeter through the playground, along the river, through the second parking lot and surrounded behind the baseball fields. We did the trail loop one more time and it rounded out a nice walk. Restrooms were clean and kept up with supplies. It is a very peaceful and scenic area with history.

It was a nice little walk for my pups.several benches to rest but no view of the water. The growth was so heavy you could no longer see the river! There were a lot of bugs flying in the heavy shaded areas you need to hurry through. Once around was about 15 minutes from the car starting point. We went twice for a good walk.

Bring a leash if youre bringing your dog... a lot of kids (especially if there are baseball games) and no shortage of overly-protective West Linn parents that will be sure to inform you that leashes are required and their use strictly enforced

It was the shortest hike. It was like one strip too walk. There was sewer water that looked nasty AF. All there berry bushes were dead as you walked pass some of the water!! There were benches to sit down over looking bushes ! Try cutting some bush down !!! I was not impressed! The best places are MacGyver. Meldrum bar. Eagle creek !!! Parmar park ! More towards clackamas!!!! Damascus!!!! Estacada!!!!

Stay the heck out of West Linn as you will be harrassed by the local thug cops! They do everything they can to be deceatful and, raise revenue at your expense. They lie on reports as well as to the judges who by the way own the local jails. Clackamas county is a damn trash hole of less than honest so called public servants. Not one of them that I have met know or follow the law. None of them take the oath of office serious as I can tell. Do you and, everyone you know a favor, stay away its not safe because those in power are abusive.

Im giving this park 10 stars ya just cant see the others, lol. It has the ball fields, a decent size playground, the walking trails all around it, picnic tables and a basketball court.Bathrooms, and the grounds people do a GREAT job with keeping it all clean. I see a lot of kiddos and kids litter so I think parents, because they use this area a LOT- could teach the kiddos to be mindful of picking up their trash. Dont get bent parents but there can be too much trash all around after games and its a park you use and like to enjoy. Water can move pretty swiftly and it seems to be a GREAT fishing place. And a long, long...long,long, LONG time ago a meteorite struct somewhere in the area and theres large informative boards with lots of pictures - would be a cool place for school field trips. All of the people Ive ever seen there are friendly. Excellent place to walk your pets
