George E. Lommel Park

The park is one of the best I have went to. My girls love the park. It had all kids of different equipment for the kids to play in. A sidewalk went all the way around it and I was able to walk while the girls played.

They have playground equipment for both younger and older children. I appreciate the swinging chairs that surround the playground to give the parents a place. I would have liked to have a restroom facility, but they do have a water fountain. They could also use some garbage cans. It seems to be well maintained.

We always have a great time here and meet wonderful people.

Conveniently located in a residential area. This park has play equipment for kids, a gazebo with tables for picnicking, and a wide open field for playing catch, frisbee, soccer, or whatever else takes more room than a back yard. Biggest limitation: no bathrooms.

My daughter loves this park. A lot of space for the kids to move around and enjoy themselves.

Options for different age groups. My 15 month old had fun. We had a play group there and the youngest was 9 months, the oldest 3 years and we all had things to do. And there were options for older than that also.

We love our park, always a chance to meet some new neighbor and many families come from all around Lafayette/West Lafayette. The playground is awesome and many shaded areas with seatings for parents. Our family is thankful for the park and our great neighborhood!

This park is great, with two different play structures for different age groups. The only downside is that the park does not have bathroom facilities. It has water fountains for adults, children and dogs. Also on the park premises are a little lending library and a West Lafayette Public Library drop box.

The pavilion and bbq are first-come-first-served which is good/bad. You cant make reservations, but you dont have to pay for a reservation.
