We loved Rage. All seven of us. Inventive flavors. Great service. Alluring ambiance. The childless with sorrily were to die for. Frittatas, amazing. Fritters, could eat them all day. Really fantastic all around.
Drinks were good and strong! Cash bar only. Great crowd of people. Music was HELLA weird.
We went to bootie CA on Saturday night.Music was good however we had very bad experience of thefts. My friends phone got stolen from her purse and another person that we met there was looking for her wallet . Beware of pick pockets. Bottom line when your phone is stolen all fun is gone :(
My first gay bar experience! Turns out its exactly like a non-gay bar but just more awesome! Very chill and welcoming bar. Musical Mondays/Karaoke night was a lot of fun! ^_^ Excellent and thoughtful customer service. Will definitely be returning.
Rage is a club and performance space located in the industrial SOMA neighborhood of Los Angeles. This place wasnt around when I lived in Los Angeles, so I was glad to have the local SF friends suggest it.
Sad to hear it closing after 38 years. Opened in 1983. Its Coronavirus casualty
Great vacation! It was a lot of fun, good groovy music, a diverse audience. Promotions are passing, I got free drinks and a private room for an hour. To do this, registered on 909gay,com created a profile, and showed it to the administrator. It was very nice for such unexpected gifts.
Fun, even for a straight dude....Rage is probably the most Iconic bar in West Hollywood.Dudes kept buying me drinks, whats not to love.Music is great here, people are really friendly. service is spectacular.
Now, I’ve been here MANY TIMES and I’ve enjoyed myself. I’m CURRENTLY waiting to get inside and I’m being ignored. No one comes to say ANYTHING TO ME. I sat there for 5 minutes yes short but by that time I also could’ve gotten an answer whether or not it was open. The kind security guard finally came back to answer my question about the club being open. I WISH I COULD ADD MY VIDEOS but
Nice staff, good dance floor, and fun energy.
I used to come here when I was 18 which was a decade ago. The place hasnt change a lot since then. I recently went here for my friends little brothers 21st birthday and we actually had a blast. Dance floor was full and the drinks were strong. I would totally come here again now that everyone is out of that whole Emo/ Scene kid phase lol !
Great place good vibes. Hreat music. Dance floor, Bar and many fun people and great staff
Gay scene, diverse nightclub. If youre of the ethic background best day to go is Sunday nights the crowd is lit. $10 cover charge. Thursday night is Karaoke
Daytime is not a dance bars best time, But.. everyone was great, help full, and hot-boy dancers... Sweet.
The dj upstairs sucked tonight. Otherwise, great and good vibed place to be!
Nice place, I went on saturday, Latino night,Was awesome!
Very good place to enjoy with few friends, straight or gays obviously...
Not a fan of bars that allow 18 and over in a highly populated area. Ive only been a few times and the drinks are pretty affordable but a lot of crowd that gathers there are younger hipster people.
Saturday night is Latin Night, and it wasnt too disappointing. The DJ kept the dance floor packed, but the music got a little too poppy (for me). But, they have cute go-go boys, clean restrooms. When Im ever back in LA, I would visit again.
We were there on St Patricks day early ish and the service was good up until it started to get crowded. It didnt seem like there were enough bar tenders on hand to handle the crowd. Overall a cool place to grab a drink and chill outside or watch dudes dance on tables if thats your cup of tea.
$5 bottled water and no small tap options for a crowded little box club is unacceptable. Bartenders snap at the mere mention of it, after paying my $5 for an arrowhead the bartender said If you dont have money, you should stay home. Nice!
BEST PLACE EVER. SO MUCH FUN! Great music & excellent place to dance! Its a wonderful safe space for us LGBT+.
I personally love the Loco Loco bowl, its brown rice with egg, grilled turkey, almonds and avocado with their signature (dairy free) sauce!!! Try this place out, they are very friendly.
I had a great experience at this place. Met my guy best friend here that Ive now know for 5 yrs. Thank you Rage
Music was very good on a Thursday night and the dance floor was full but everywhere else in the bar was empty. I like that they show videos of the music that they play. It looked like they have an upstairs area but it was closed that night.
Musical Mondays is my favorite night at Ragé. Fun and friendly people and Ishka and Darin (Bartenders) are the best! LIVE SHOW at 10pm plus two Happy Hours (6pm-8pm and again after the LIVE SHOW! Must do night...
Definitely was one of my favorite places to frequent as a young gay man at 18. I would use to go every weekend and would always meet great people and have a great time. I have many fond memories associated with Rage. Secure parking behind the building.
Damn! This place is lit!!!! Im here every weekend Everyone is super nice and fun!! Great music great everything !
Gay bar/restaurant with great happy hour. Musical Mondays with live performances. Asain night Fridays and latin night Saturdays!
Dancefloor is just way too small. Especially with the dancers at the center of it.
Saturdays latino nights. Love it
I have a friend who would love this place his nickname is big pumpkin
Worst experience ever! don’t waste ur money for something worse! tonight I was being harassed and discriminated by a long hair blonde middle age white guy who I didn’t care to know name of when I was lining up. he was checking my ID and then he started morning with different tones and saying ohhh Chinese, it was absolutely disgusting and discriminated! he harassed me was only bc I looked Asian and I was 19! after I came to the ticket office asking for help and they said GO! CALL THE POLICE IF U WANT! never thought Rage would be like this would give a ZERO star if I could!
One of the best gay bars and clubs in West Hollywood. Always a fun place to go dancing at.
Markus and Rene find there together best wishes good luck
Fun Place, Great Drinks, Great selection of music. Friday nights are for 18 year olds and its a chill place. You wont be harassed by drunk guys like at OHM.
Good drinks and music! One fight broke out but the party continued lol
Great drinks, great patio, music is good! Great for a night out in L.A.
Rage first opened its doors in the mid 80s and I was actually at its grand opening. Before it was Rage there was a market (Arrow market to be exact) sitting at its location so the opening of a new dance club in the heart of WeHo was an exciting event. Since then the excitement that has surrounded Rage has greatly diminished. The club has gone through a major renovation but still feels somewhat dated. Furthermore, Rage mainly caters to promoters that stage their promoted event at the club on different nights each week. Some of these promotions such as Gameboi, a weekly gay Asian night have been quite successful. Others have not been that successful and that not only hurts the club money wise but it also hurts the clubs overall reputation. Before Mickys caught on fire back in 2007, the talk around town was that Rage was very close to going out of business. They simply could not generate any excitement anymore and both Factory and Mickys were slowly killing them. The fire at Mickys saved Rage. It took close to two years for Mickys to get its act together and rebuild and reopen. During those two years those who did not want to wait in very long lines to get into Factory found themselves at Rage. You would think that the owners and management of Rage would have taken advantage of that time and would have tried anything (or at least something) to turn around the fortunes of the club. They didnt. A better and stronger Mickys eventually reopened and it looks like history Id going to repeat itself. Rage simply cannot generate the excitement that both Factory and Mickys can. If overpriced drinks, dated decor and overly aggressive crowds are your thing, the Rage just might be the place for you. If not, there are quite a few other clubs within walking distance of Rage that will offer you a greater night out experience.
Good cheap drinks but the club had definitely lost its luster Im sorry to say .
I enjoyed myself. Wish they played more hip hop.
I loved working there people were great Co workers even greater love this place
Good music, although some of the patrons are a lil non socialable, but not everyone was like that. So make sure u go with some friends or you might end up dancing alone.
Always a great time to be at Rage for Gameboi!!
There for my birthday i had a great time folks was very nice
My cousins fav WeHo bar. Lots of fun...
Sunday night hip hop nights are always fun.
Im not gonna lie the place is fun, good music, but the people are a little to harassing. Still had a good time
I when to this club and the experience I got from the bartender was horrible, I think maybe wasnt enough the $5 I gave him on tips for 2 beers I got. He rudely answered me wheres my tip? when I just asked him for a lemon for my beer. I was out of this club for while cuz of this reason but apparently they hired more ppl with the same problem. I would never come back to this place again. Sorry but not .
Great place to dance with friends and meet new people.
#PARTY #SHOTSHOTSHOTS #SEXYDRINKING #CHILLNDRINKLOVE&RESPECT ALCOHOLICS
Rage is a bar that is full of asians...ASIAN RAGE that is. But the bar atmosphere is fun just get there before 9:30 to advoid cover charge. The Bartenders are very attenative.

Love this place!!!!!! I always have so much fun :)
Rude employees, very low business skills, lacks ability to answer questions, makes assumptions when dealing with issues, bad business and employees all around.
Prissy 18-year-olds trying way too hard to fit in to the scene. Shame.
Drag show is awful Thursday & Saturday theme is dis tasteful & a Night Mare
I love this place!!
Always a good standby.
