I like this place a lot. Service is great and great pricing. The crowd was cool and so was the atmosphere. We were there Saturday night and the DJ was above average. Sarah was just great. I recommend this place.
If you guys need any waitresses hmu
I have not been to the factory yet, but was watching old school Johnny Carson (1981) and Shelley Winters was telling Johnny a story of when they had a private party at the factory back in the day ;)
A little hectic and over-rated, but a good spot!
Factory has been the largest night club in West Hollywood since back in 1974 when it landed on scene as Studio One (no, I was not present for that grand opening but I do still have a 10th anniversary button from 1984). It was West Hollywoods longest ruining night club and since then it has under gone a few make overs and owners. From Axis to Factory the club has scene it all. Some things do not change even with new owners though. The general layout of the club will never change. It is still a very large rectangular shaped dance floor anchored at two ends by two different bars and sitting areas. The front bar is the quieter of the two since it is protected from the noise from the dance floor by a wall that has two different entrance points to the dance floor. The back bar has a smaller sitting area and no such thing as a wall between it and the dance floor so it is loud at the back bar. There is a halfway of of the north side wall that leads to large mens and womens bathrooms. I can only speak for the mens room but for the amount of traffic that goes through it, the staff does a pretty good job of keeping it clean. There is also a separate smaller club space known as the Penthouse behind the east wall of the dance floor and back bar. If the Penthouse does not have its own thing happening on any given weekend you will find two large double doors open to allow pass through between the two spaces with the Penthouse offering more sit down areas and a small dance floor with a different DJ. All in all, Factory gets a good crowd and the weekends are generally festive. The dance floor is actually on the second floor of the building and had always moved up and down when large crowds are dancing on it (at least it has been since I was going there since the early 80s) so dont let that throw you and just have a good time.
This place is horrible. They took my friends ID and gave it to someone else. We have a flight today, but now she has no form of identification. We told them how awful it was theyd do that, they responded by kicking us out. The staff is rude and the management is worse. Save your time and never come here. They did nothing for us even though they literally gave an ID to a random person. They dont care about their clients, and are horrible to you. Dont ever come here.
Which night club any where forces you to down your drink or dump it before 2am? What nightclub ever forces you to do that ever regardless of what time it is? This was probably the worst experience I have ever had at a night club. I went for Fantasy Fridays for the first time since they moved to this venue and I will definitely never come here again.Around 1:30-50 the club had not called last call yet and my friend and I went to buy our last round of drinks. After coming back to the dance floor, two of the bouncers were walking around with a bucket telling people to down their drinks or dump them in the bucket. The bouncer finally got to me and just said hurry up, lets go. I looked at him like he was crazy. I had just bought my drink and they want me to throw it away. I mean the drinks there were like $12-$15 each. The club wasnt even closed yet. What club actually does that? Why would you force people to down alcohol right before they are about to leave and go home? Does that make any sense to you?Any ways, I didnt give them my drink. I told them I paid for this so Im going to drink it and I am not going to down it. The dude moved on from me and the other bouncer went to my friend. Without even saying a word to her, the bouncer grabbed my friends drink, which was full btw, and dumped it into the bucket. The bouncer started saying how it was their policy to dump drinks after 2am. I pulled out my phone to see what time it was and it was 1:55am. So I confronted the bouncer about it and I asked her is she gonna get my friends money back since she dumped her drink. The bouncer then called in her other bouncer dudes and kicked me and my friends out.None of this made any sense. I dont even know if a policy like that is legal. Trust me, I will definitely be spreading the word about this for sure. The place is super overpriced for what it is. Expect to get kicked out for the stupidest reasons here.
This place is great, if you get there early! Celebs love making cameos here. Saw Cher here rocking out a few times looking fabulous. Again it GETS CROWDED. Semi good music, strong drinks, but they need to invest in a strong A/C.
Bouncer gave my ID to somebody else without checking and kicked us out when everybody else was gone. We didn’t even get to speak to the management. They weren’t being helpful at all.
Never coming back hereOne of the people here used my card and added their own amount and tip
They lost my friends ID and did absolutely nothing to help her, it was not her fault as she gave the ID to the boy and he gave it to someone else and then all the security and the manager put us out as we were wrong.
Not bad, not bad at all!I came here back when it was called The Factory, and now its revamped itself with a lady with live snake and glass room with some S&M girl on girl make out sesh. On top of that the Spice guy with a mermaid for sparkle glitter in replacement for seashell bra! Thats enough to catch anyones attention !!Aside from those extra features the music is pretty awesome! The main room had a great EDM mixes and the following room pass the bathroom is the Hip hop room!We all had a pretty great time, despite the far ass drive to we ho!
Nice
Can be fun early.
