This park will be beautiful when the trees are mature and they reseed some grass around the area. Very neat that they planted prairie grass.
Pickleball courts a mess. Need tiling to control water.
This is a great park! Most notable is the unique set of equipment. The older childs side is terrific for children who like climbing and balancing. There are 2 different styles of monkey bars, a tall rope structure, a surfboard/hammock, a broad swing, 2 other balance obstacles, and slides. The younger childs area has several built-in activities within the structure itself like mazes, music makers, spinners, and more! It also has swings. Though it currently lacks much shade on the equipment, there is a nice shelter with picnic tables for respite. As of this writing, it also has interpretive signs explaining the bioretension cells, native plants, & permeable pavers which we liked, too! So enjoyable we spent 3 hours there in 90+ degree weather. We didnt use the tennis or basketball courts or restrooms as there were workers with heavy equipment for earthmoving & grading on that side of the park.
