Always beautiful, always friendly people enjoying the park. Its just amazing that theres a place so beautiful thats literally a hop, skip and a jump away from such a busy area. I love this place and love to see people and families enjoying it. Its so clean and well kept always see beautiful wildlife as well. Countless species of Birds, deer, little groundhogs, turtles. I just LOVE IT HERE!
It was always confusing to me that Greenfield Park is in West Allis and not Greenfield but my husband told me that West Allis basically used to be considered inside Greenfield but not sure if that is true. There is a nice pond to walk around and think about nature and enjoy time by yourself or with loved ones.
Such a beautiful park! Perfect for a stroll with the family
Amazing park, wonderful trail to walk. Great parks for kids. The parks have infant swings!(:
This park is beautiful and has ample seating for picnics. It also has some nice walking trails Im excited to explore more.
Always just relaxing to be here. Enjoy the scenery and fresh air.
Paved and wooded trails. Nice little play ground. Etc.
Port-a-pottys where so messy!!! I know so many people trash them. But they would be better taking them out.
Fishing for small sunfish was fun. Bullfrogs too. Free parking lot. Good place for a walk with kids, or a jog.
This park is known for having a large pond in the center and the Cool Waters water park on the west edge of the lake. There are two main picnic areas with playgrounds, it is a great place for family gatherings. Make sure to contact the Milwaukee County Parks Office to reserve either of these picnic areas for any private events.
Very family friendly you can just walk around or if you feel more adventurous, hey into the not to deep forestry, super nice for birders
The golf course is nice the park is very clean and many bars and places to stop for food for takeout to go sit in the park and enjoy
Love it here! So peaceful
Nice, picturesque park with private picnic table areas for a nice picnic.
This is a magnificent park associated with the Milwaukee County Park System. In my opinion, it is among my three favorite parks in Southeastern Wisconsin. There is such an abundance of wildlife, especially birds. They have double-crested cormorant, green/black-crowned night/great blue herons, wood ducks, common mallards, and an abundance of small birds (warblers and such). There are white-tailed deer, common snapping turtles, american bullfrogs, raccoons, and various insects. The inlaid trails of the forest are amazing and almost majestic. I cant wait to re-visit and take landscape photos for the audience. There are four major bodies of water on the west, north, and northeast regions of the park. Some of these surrounding trails are a bit overgrown with foliage, so if you want to really hike it bring long clothes and bug spray/vaporub. You may hear some noise from Cool Waters, but its calm most of the time. Enjoy your visit, and I hope my review will assist you!
The golf course is in fabulous condition.
Nice, walkable course. Great tree lined fairways that can test you.
Good spot to walk and access bike trails.
Not much time spent in the park but the bike trail access is great.
Very nice scenery with playgrounds, fishing, golf and plenty of walking trails
Nice walking and biking paths. People fishing in the pond.
Its a wonderful part, gives me an opportunity to take my grandson fishing.
Pathways, picnic areas, woods, deer, fishing, golf & swimming in the summer (when allowed).
Wonderful park with great trails & lagoons. They should add a dog park within & I would me there even more. Going to be my new go to for weekend walks!
Great park. Also the launch point of two biking/hiking trails!
Great place to go running. Also a beautiful pool. Well maintained.
Little to no littering, its clean and enjoyable to walk and explore in
Vary nice waking paths
A great park with a paved path around the medium sized pond, which has a couple little Islands. Theres a man-made waterfall coming off the lake, leading down to a little Hidden Pond where waterfowl can be found hanging out. Playground and picnic area, and benches so you can stop and rest or taking the scenery. Lots of great waterfowl have been spotted here!
Love taking the dog for walks there
I love the oak leaf trail. Great place to walk and it is easy to trackYour distance.
My favorite park! So much open space, woods and a pond you can fish in. Theres so much land that you dont even notice youre in the middle of a city. Also has access to cool waters
Great place to do some Pokémon hunting lolIt’s also a well maintained park! Cool waters is right inside it, so keep an eye out for the kiddos if you choose to visit!
FIND someway to ticket dirtbags that dont pick up after there dogs!!
Baby ShowerClean liked the white chair setupOnly down fall is the parking handicap is to far from the pavillion.
Seemed like a nice park. Came for a cross country meet. My younger children played on the playground and were very entertained. Wide open spaces to run and play
Access to the Oak Leaf trail and the kids got a chance to play at the playground.
Beautiful park, fun things for the whole family
I love walking in this park. I grew up in west allis. I caught my first fish her . Swimming is also fun here. My mother always had to pry me out of the pool. Lots of picnics in this park. I was never any good at golfing but hey its heathy and it keeps ya skinny
Beautiful park where you can feel safe and bring your family. Our company rents the pavilion every year for picnic/party. There is a really nice swimming area and even accessible fishing areas for handicapped/disabled people. Lots of shade trees for hot days!
Great park, nice beer garden
Beautiful park for a walk around the lake and trails cut through the woods.
Thai new years party had a great time. Awesome the park pavilion could be used for thi
Beautiful place for a walk. The wildlife is always awake and active!
Nice place. You can usually see a few ppl fishing on the lagoon or walking the track around the lagoon. The picnic areas are usually clean. The pool (Cool Waters) is pretty busy especially on hot days.
Greenfield park is in a large slice Love greenspace heaven within a otherwise sparse county of the Milwaukee area. It is nestled in an areaare you forget for a moment as you spend your day there that youre even in Milwaukee county to begin with. the park has some very nice decently maintained picnic areas that are great for holding weddings or company picnics. Plenty of activities to enjoy on the grounds .
The pool is perfect for smaller kids mostly. There is a cool area for big Kids/adults. I appreciate the staffing of the many lifeguards and the fact that they stay on top of kids running or causing any problems. This makes it safer for the babies and toddlers to enjoy the wading areas. The pool and area surrounding it is clean. The bathrooms are not so clean and the changing areas are so terribly disgusting I thought I might come home with a disease by touching anything! So if youre planning to go, plan on NOT using the dirty diaper changing station or changing rooms. I also think there should be a discount for a second adult coming with a kid. I saw a lot of grandmas not swimming but there to just watch belongings or the baby not swimming. Seems rather stupid they have to pay 5 to 7 dollars to do this.
A great place for just about everybody. Picnic areas with flushing toilets, playground equipment, a water park, paved walking and bike paths. There are hiking trails also. The lagoon has fish and beautiful water fowl. Lots of photo opportunities!
I will go back soon
I had a great time at the birthday party I went to there. Except the bugs but no one can stop nature :] so, yeah. It was great.
Although it rained an drizzled throughout the day this past Saturday my 6yr old granddaughter birthday we all had a BALL!!! The water was warm as well as the staffit was like a Private Pool Party just a handful of people there. Would go again for sure!
Lovely scenery. Great fun for the kids and work parties.
Its a nice park with good trails plus the pond.
A good place to walk or bike. Plenty of park benches strategically placed. Meet friendly people along the way!
Grew up near this park. Has a decent water park, man made lagoon that looks reasonably natural, hiking/biking trails in the forests. Clean. Fire pits and playgrounds and soccer fields. Probably more too
Not my favorite but decent
Huge park. Very nicely groomed and safe location. Water park and trails in the woods give you a feeling of truly being out of the city
Beautiful park. Sad to see by swimming area people just throw their trash all over the parking lot. I appreciate the people that take care of the park and try to keep it nice.
The park was good sized and had nice walking trails. It was nice and clean. I ran into several very friendly people while i was there. My only reason for going honestly was to fish the pond. I saw a few smaller trout caught by others while i was there. I caught and released 15-20 largemouth bass ranging from 9-14 inches. The weeds are nasty though and the water clarity is poor. Not an easy place to fish but my time there paid off. Ill probably bring my family one day to check out the rest of the park
Nice half mile walk around the lagoon, great public pool and playsets for kids on both sides of the park. I love to walk the paths in the woods. Youll find deer in here too!
I love taking my 21 month old on strolls through the park. They have a couple of playgrounds that we usually stop by on our walks. I love the nature in this park. You always see geese, ducks and there is a heron that makes its home here most years.
Nice city park
Nice paved trails with a vast variety of wildlife!
Geared towards family. Nice playground for kids, paths for hiking with well placed benches along the way. There is an enclosed swimming pool for the little tikes up to teens. Softball field, pond. Can hold family get together, reunions. Easy access to the bus route
Well kepted park. Love the animals.
I visited this place for the purpose of establishing appropriate Landing sites for the upcoming alien invasion. While there is plenty of open space, unfortunately it is entirely too small to accommodate a class 3 planet destroyer such as the Mothership. I am uncertain why the voice has led me here, it is much too small. Perhaps this site would be appropriate for a handful of insectoid ground slayers but they tend to enjoy chasing humans through more populated and complex areas such as downtown.
Fun walking park!
Great park for a safe dip in the pool
Always a pleasure to meet up with family and friends at this park. Well attended to and seldom and negative experience with other events.
Great park lots of gorgeous areas and nice place to walk
Great place for familys picnic or event... kids friendly we love going there.
Great place for the JDRF event... very wet... but otherwise, amazing location.
Saw the pic of geese at Greenfield Park 16 days ago. Those geese had better been migrating thru.
Gorgeous place to take a walk!
This park is a treasure in the city.
Ive been to this park many times. It is always clean and maintained.
Nice walking paths
Love the peaceful walk, but needed to use the restroom, it was closed.
My uncle Ottos repast.
Perfect for The Family
Still very nice, even in the winter months.
