Amazing place. Enjoyed the birds chirping all the time we were there. The guides were very informative and the folks at the front were a joy to visit with. Will definitely visit again.Very natural and relaxing atmosphere.

Some the Activities were covered with boards. They need a more up to date swing and jungle gym area.

Playground set is definitely the biggest one located in Weslaco, TX. My kids love this place! Nice artistic Weslaco mural is great for pictures too!!! They have enough patios of different sizes to have an event such as a birthday party or baby shower! Barbecue pits are located all around the property. Makes it perfect for a family outing! We will definitely be back!

I love that the Gibson park has been looking better. Before I used to prefer going to Harlem, but now I like Gibson better

Valley nature center is amazing, take your children they will love it.

Cute little park that is next to the valley nature center. It has swing sets, slides, a basket ball court, other little game setups under the tarp and I think it even has a pool. Great place, and Ive seen people hold events there.Also, its a hotspot for Pokemon GO players, as it has a gym and two stops.

Nice nature center with an interpretive center and trails outdoors for walking and bird watching.

Restroom is kinda scary. Loved that theres an electric outlet and lighted area under picnic area

Very nice park just wished people would pick up after themselves. The trash bins are not that far people. I go early before workers go in for maintenance so I know its being taken care of during the day.

Great place to take my son. He moves the swing and the play sets there. The flooring is specially padded for injury prevention with falls. The park seems clean as well.

This park is a fun place for the kids to play and if you get a chance go and visit the Valley Nature Center nearby.

Always peaceful and enjoyable to take my son out to the park in the evenings so he can play for a while.

This is a place for kids to play and adults to play basketball (best park ever).

While the park itself is only half decent it also hosts the valley nature center which is the areas real draw. There is an entrance fee if you want to walk arround but they also have a native plant nursery which you can access without A fee. The nature center features a wide variety of plant insect and animal life and hosts a turtle pond and a fairly big artificial waterfall for the birds

Looks like someone had a party the day before, super dirty. I understand on behalf of the workers its sunday, day off.. But the people that rented out should be responsible for cleaning their mess.

Not even sure if it is still open, but this place was great. You could rent the pool for a party. Very secluded behind Valley Nature Center on the East side of Gibson Park.
