We bought this for our daughter to display her art for sale, and it works perfectly. It looks very professional. It was easy to install. It is incredibly sturdy. One tip: Buy the spacers.We are planning to buy the wooden set to hang at the bottom of our crown moldings throughout our house. I wish I had known about these types of systems years ago. This is how I plan to hang artwork in my home for the rest of my life.

I put a rail system in my art studio and a chair rail system in the hallway. Both work FABULOUSLY!!! The STAS rail is slim and sleek and the hooks inside slide side to side like a breeze. The zip bits that you hang your pictures on slide up and down with great ease. Its damn tough, too. I hang multiple pictures and nothing bends or breaks. LOVE this system and recommend to anyone.

Our home has a hall with wood reclaimed from a 200 year old barn. I purchased STAS Minirail and hanger accessories to allow us to fill the wall with art and only make minimal holes hight on the wall. It has been great and I am ordering additional rails for other rooms in the house. The rail was straightforward to install, and the flexibility for positioning the art is great. Customer service was very helpful and everything arrived very securely packaged as scheduled.

I have ordered from Stas three times. I have always had great service and received the product in great shape and in a timely manner. The product is wonderful; I use the hangers to display my artwork and keep it safe from scratches. I also use the paper rail to hold contact sheets so I can easily look at what Im about to print. First introduced to the STAS product through a restaurant who installed it to showcase our HS students artwork on a rotating basis. Worked great and very versatile so could change the artwork periodically. We bought the new STAS drywallXpress rails and they are great. Super fast delivery, and so easy to put up. They provide a tool that helps you push the teeth into the drywall with the power of your thumbs, its possible, but difficult trying to do it over your head near the ceiling. But we switched to a hammer with the plastic tool to protect it, and it was so fast and easy getting up and down the ladder took more time then installing the hooks. The rail snapped into place solidly, and we have hung art and mirrors from it with no fear that it was going to fall. Great product.

PROS: The system is elegant, very functional, and prevents drilling a bunch of random holes in the walls to hang art. Moving/swapping pieces is simple. Customer service from STAS is outstanding.CONS: It is very expensive to do the whole house. I hung the rails myself, which saved a lot of money but is a very challenging/time -consuming job... and you have to drill a bunch of non-random holes in the walls. There is one odd unpleasant side-effect -- the rails bang a bit when the heat kicks on, because the metal expands. Minor annoyance.OVERALL: We are happy with the decision to go with STAS and the annoyance/cost factor will become less relevant over time. And the art looks great.

This is the best picture hanging solution Ive ever bought. Weve lived in a many different houses, condos, and apartments all over the country and once we found STAS weve never bought anything else. Weve turned into art collectors because of the the the STAS picture rail! Watch the videos on the website, but dont be intimidated. It really is as easy as they make it look. And if youre really not handy at all, you could easily find a neighbor whos good with a screw gun and a level or hire a task rabbit. The whole installation took us maybe an hour at most. I bought the STAS mini rail picture hanging system to make a gallery wall on an exposed brick wall. Even though my brick is very old and uneven I was able to successfully install the system without too much difficulty. Hanging the pictures once installed was easy, and it was great to be able to move things around and see how I wanted it to look. I love this system because it let me put up a ton of art without putting a ton of holes in my 100+ year old brick wall. This product is a a great value and arrived quickly.

The product and starter set is terrific and provides a lot of flexibility without banging a lot of holes in the wall for multiple pictures. The drop down ceiling hook is also great and provides a lot a flexibility for small areas or if you cannot install the brackets. I love their mineral system and cords. However, I am not happy that my credit card was charged with foreign transaction fee simply because STASs payment system is outside of US (in Europe, no way any online buyers like me couldve known). I paid in US dollars and the product was shipped from Massachusetts. STAS shouldve at least told us that in advance so that we could use a proper credit card for the purchase.[Updated 8 hours later. Changed from 3-star to 4-star]STAS contacted me and refunded the double amount of the fee. According to them (Matthew), its their practice to refund this charge whenever it is brought to our attention. Although time was wasted, I am happy STAS was willing to take care of this properly for their customers.By the way, their product is really fantastic. Highly recommended.

Very happy I chose STAS picture hanging system. This is the first time I have tried a hanging system and I am very please with how easy it was and how good it looks. I used the Cliprail MAX with 8 cords. I hung two rows of 4 pictures, so each picture is supported by two clips on two different cords. Each pair of cords holds two pictures...one above the other. Even though the cliprail is installed at the top of a 14 wall, it was fairly easy to get the cords spaced evenly

I have hung a lot of artwork, and usually doing it solo is difficult. This was by far the easiest time I have ever had! The install instructions are deceptively skimpy. When I went to install my mini-rail I discovered why. The 30-second company video shows a hand easily sliding picture rail hooks into position - it doesnt show how to first thread the vertical cord through the hooks. That (not shown) step is impossible to do without first disassembling the hook. If you have infinite patience the manual dexterity of a watch-maker you can do it. Otherwise . . . good luck.

Im switching out the standard Stas hooks on my gallery walls with Stas zipper pro security hooks - as part of my earthquake preparation. These will securely hold my artwork when things start shaking. I love the Stas picture hanging system!

My contractor installed a STAS system on a two story staircase wall in our store where I display large paintings. We were planing to attach the paintings to the cables at the top of the stairs where its easier to reach, then slide them across the space to where they would hang. The cables came out of the track and the ones that stayed in wouldnt go past the seams in the tracks. Im very disappointed and out the money for the system and installation + a track at the top of the wall I dont want to look at.
