POISON IVY! If you are going to visit and do not know how to identify poison ivy, youll want to research that. There is quite a lot along the trails.Besides that, the trails are nice for walks, bike riding and may even be smooth enough in most spots for skating. Do watch out when approaching areas that allow access to the river as many fish there and lost/misplaced fishing hooks can be hazards for pets and small children. The newly paved trail going Easternly from the park is also a perk.
It was really pretty, scenery wise, but there was garbage everywhere. Im not sure who is in charge of cleanup, but they are slacking.
Great place to take the kids for some fresh air and walk the dog.
Beautiful park to visit on the Black River
Small park, but has such charm. Its a great place for a dog walk, to just eat lunch, or escape the heat in the shade
Great trail to feel as though youre actually in the woods along the river.
Great place for a walk and a picnic. And hear and see the water falls
Nice park. Snow and ice made some of the trails inaccessible. It will probably be beautiful in another month.
Nice trail for a short walk by the river.
Great for quick views of river and the park offers picnic tables with grills near by but this area is lacking in trails.
Kept up nicely and nice bathrooms and camp sites
Its a beautiful place for walking by the water or biking on trail. My only wish is it was longer. Very peaceful place.
Pleasant place for a winter walk. Paved walkways and a small waterfall nearby. Its of picnic tables with bbqs. Whole lot of buckthorn though, clean your shoes before you visit other parks.
Beautiful park no matter what season it is. Nice walking paths and picnic areas.
Scenic during the day
Small park, good trails, plenty to explore if you take the time to.
It has some nice scenery along the river.
Good place
Please help keep this park clean...if you carry it in, carry it out, or at least use the trash cans.
