The staff were so nice and welcoming considering the times right now. Each and everyone of them were so warm. My toddler made such a huge popcorn mess and as I apologized the gestures expressed genuinely were no big deal. Thank you so much, we had a great time.

Always packed because its cheap but soft leather reclining seats are the best. You can order online but still have to wait in line to get yr tickets. On discount days, you better go early since the lines are so long and most times it’s just one cashier.

A pretty good place for a movie. First run movies, Not crowded. Good snack bar, fresh popcorn. The soda machine is great with countless options with free refills. Reclining seats are decent but not as good as some of the other movie houses in the area. Ticket prices about $1 lower than others in the area. Friendly, helpful staff.

Nice theater looks older outside the theater but once inside the seats are huge and recline. The prices were also good. If you buy online you can get a deal with drink popcorn and ticket.

Not the nicest or most modern looking lobby, but they just added comfy new power reclining seats in a lot of their theaters and the picture quality doesnt really leave anything to be desired.

Cozy and family friendly atmosphere. Lines are rarely long and food options are average. Seats recline and are pretty comfortable. Seats can be reserved before and during the movie. Bathrooms could use an updated, and very few arcade games.

If I could give it a zero I would. The theater was filthy, the food was overpriced and stale. There were no lights before or after the movie to see where to walk. The chairs in theater 9 were incredibly uncomfortable. I didnt want to touch anything it was so filthy in there. There was also a faint beeping noise through the whole movie. Definitely will not be going back.

Great movie theater in Waterbury, CT. Specials everyday Tuesday and Sunday. Very good movie prices regardless of the day. Recliner seats in the theaters. You can get a combo drink, popcorn, and a movie for a great price. You can season your popcorn anyway you like it next to the butter machines.

Apple Cinema located near the Waterbury Walmart is a bit of a diamond in the rough. The seating was upgraded to comfortable recliners not too long ago which enhances comfort and keeps the theater relevant in a competitive market place.Apple is somewhat lacking in many other amenities such as its snack bar but its the movie we have come to see and not the over priced snack bar. Staffing is sparse which is only an issue if there are discourteous patrons (which seems to be the norm) that need to be reminded that cell phone use and other annoyances are not to be tolerated.

I love their Sunday and Tuesday deals. Its always clean. Its was recently remodeled. Has comfortable recliners.

Have made great improvements in the last few years, but still run discount days. I really appreciate that, as we dont go out to the movies very often and really love to hit up discount matinees when we do. I also love that you can get a coffee in there. I didnt get one today since it was somewhere over 90° outside, but I love getting it in the wintertime!

What could easily have been a 4-5 star rating is instead marred by its location. I took my 12 year old son to see Sonic tonight and we were immediately troubled by our seats not working and then noticed that it was the whole row. The staff wasnt helpful and didnt know how to do menial tasks like switch our seats so I did it myself. Needing to use the restroom, I walked into a stall that had more excrement around the bowl then in it and above the toilet paper dispenser stood a Fifth of Vodka. During the movie not one usher walked through the theatre to see how things were operating. A group of people had snuck in and the toddler that accompanied them ran back and forth down the back row whilst screaming and throwing things. The best part of the theater was walking out the front door..

The deals are good. They have all the newest movies but the ladies rest rooms are still disgusting. They still have nasty toilet water on the floors. Not sure if that is something that they will ever fix.

Love coming here with the family. Inexpensive, kid friendly and clean. The chairs need a little improvement but cant complain for the value.

Online combo is $9.75 for an adult ticket with a reg. popcorn and reg. soda, went with the bf so our total was $21.50, for 10 cents less you ONLY get two tickets at Regal, no combo deal. Plus the theatre is a lot cozier. Well worth it.

The seats were comfy but for couples who want to cuddle theres no chance of that. The arms of the chair were too high in between us. The popcorn is self serve which is nice and the candy selection was decent. They could clean up in between movies better if at all. There was a lot of trash around. And spilled drinks on the chairs. Great sound. Option of 3D and IMAX

The theater was clean and the people were nice enough.HoweverYou can tell the theater used to be a lot nicer. There is a lot of things with out of order signs. It was nice but has it been well up cab or deep cleaned.AndI went to a 11:30 showing on a Sunday. When I purchase my ticket at the door I was shown what seats were quote available and it was only 10% of the theater only on the edges and very front of the theater. After I purchase my tickets set in my assigned seat and watch the movie I was one out of six people in the whole theater.Why was I not allowed to get a seat in the middle?They didnt try to upsell me into any kind of club membership or anything to get the ability to have the better seats. I guess next time Ill just buy any seat and move to where I want once Im in the theater. I would have given my review five stars if it hadnt been for this.

Poor management. I poured water from the soda machine and had a cup filled with I don’t know what . The soda nozzles apparently aren’t cleaned ! Restrooms are dirty as well . Popcorn condiment area dirty, counters and floors aren’t cleaned, it wasn’t busy so it seems like they just don’t keep the establishment clean.

Decent theater comfortable seating relatively clean. Lounge chair seating, decent popcorn, and sodas all self serve. Make sure you order your tickets through their website for the best deal which is $10 including tickets popcorn and soda. Staff always comes across as new and amateurish but friendly and the manager seems competent.

Love the remodel of the theater. Its a refreshed and contemporary look. The reclining movie seats are comfy. Feels like family recliner.I like the week day movie deals and staff are helpful. Definitely recommend if youre in the mood for a film.

Its 2 minutes away from me. The place is clean,prices are decent. And when the movie is about to start, youre not sitting thru 30 minutes of previews (which I love) but 3 previews @ 5 minutes total.

Christmas day, and a full theater. My seat was broken, and there wasn’t any chance to change my seat. I had purchased it hours earlier online with a group of 3. Requested a discount or a refund because i’m not given the same service everyone else receives, the lady up front was rude and offered no assistance. Adding that she would pay me back if I didn’t watch the movie in a snarky attitude. Didn’t even offer to have a worker look at the chair! Keep in mind, I went to the counter about 15-20 minutes before the movie started.On top of all this, throughout the whole movie there was a continuous faint beeping noise from the film room that wouldn’t go away, extremely hard to enjoy a movie with noises and a broken chair.

This is a great theatre. Super comfortable seats. Reasonable price. Be aware its assigned seating, so choose wisely, but even when Ive gotten there late and had to sit in the front, with the reclining seats you can still see the whole screen and still be comfortable.

It was ruined by several people trying to sit in seats that they didnt purchase, children in the theater running around and babies crying. Several mothers tried to calm their children down by playing videos on their phones and singing to them.If you have an infant, dont bring them to the movies. They wont remember it at all, and youre ruining the experience for everyone else.The staff I encountered when I stormed out of the theater was very helpful, courteous and understanding. I was offered not a refund (bought ticket through ATOM) but to see it whenever I wanted to. This was acceptable and I plan on seeing it again soon.

Went with my kids to see toy story, 5 min into the movie the fire alarm goes off. So we go out the side door. Then we are outside for about 25 minutes, you see all the workers laughing and joking and we’re wondering what’s going on.The fire trucks come etc then we go back inside. Now I spent $45 on snacks that are ALL cold. So my daughter asked for new items and they refused to give it to her . So not only where they mad about the snacks, we get into the theater and they are messing with the movie script, they let it play for 5 min then rewinded it, the forwarded it. Never ever would I go here again

Although it is cheap the workers are very rude and the manager immature even if they make a mistake they wont refund your money. Many of the people are very rude and there are times you here people screaming at eachother overall it sucks only thing keeping the place from closing is the cheap prices. Cheap prices for bad service.

What I would ask corporate is why didnt your staff let the waiting patrons know they were working on a technical difficulty. I sat with my granddaughter and great nephew for approximately 30 minutes beyond the posted movie start time and only knew about the problem because another patron had to leave his seat and go ask! This experience was not fun! Again the staff never came into the theater or anounced there would be a delay due to technical difficulties!

Dont go to movies often but when I do, I go to Apple.Way cheaper than the Waterbury Mall. They have made a ton of updates. Really enjoy coming here.

This place was a one point not that bad to go to but I recently just watched the lion king there and once the movie was over the whole building looked trashed. Every single garbage bin was beyond its limits full and it wasnt just in the theater I was in. The lobby even looked like a toronado came through. My spouse also said that the ladies bathroom wasnt sanitary at all. Not a single worker was in around even attempting to clean anything. Its a shame because the customer service wasnt the issue prior to seeing the movie but the lack of care on up- keep is ultimately why Ill probably wont go back or even recommend going to this place.

Went to see Far From Home for a party, and let me tell you, it was one heck of an experience. The child sized refreshments were kinda disappointing, but the movie and everything else was great, so I cant complain.

Cheapest movie ticket prices in Waterbury. The theather are small but the seating area is very comfortable. You dont even need to get up if someone is trying to pass by to their seats. Food prices are good too.

The cinema was very clean and well stocked. The staff was cheery and helpful. I went to see beach bums. I thought the movie was terrible. There are a few other movies playing there that would be better... going by the actors in the movie, I thought it would be really funny, but to my surprise, it was boring and I fell asleep half way through it.

I wanted to share my experience about this place a while ago, but I didnt want to post on Google review, I wanted to speak in person with the lady. About a month ago, I was at the theaters with a couple of my friends, to see a early movie when we overheard the short lady with black hair talking to a young lady who I believe is the cleaner. I dont know if shes employed by them or a independent contractor. The young lady was asking a question to the lady with black hair and she talked to her as if shes no one. A little while later I seen the young lady grab a broom and a mop to clean. I seen her actions as to shoo the young lady away as if she were a dog. My mouth dropped in disbelief that were living in 2018 and we still treat people as if theyre beneath us. The lady with black hair didnt even have the decency to pull the young lady aside from the customer to have a professional discussion with her. I have been going back to find her to help her get a better job but, I am unable to locate her. This lady with black hair doesnt need to be in the profession that shes in if she doesnt know how to remain professional at all times. And from what Im reading its seems as if this isnt the first time she has been rude to people even the customers. I am very surprised that she still withholds the position that she does.

I never have to compete for a seat. The prices are great, especially for students who are on a budget. The recliner seats have a lot of room. The staff have great interpersonal skills and customer service integrity. The showtimes are always up to date. AND theyre the only movie theater in the area that have a variety of seasoning for the popcorn that isnt an additional cost. Wayyyy better than any other movie theater. In fact its my favorite of all time.

Lets hope you never have an issue occur at this movie theater, if you work in a movie theather you should try to resolve conflicts with your customers not add fuel to the fire. I have never heard a general manage defend their store manager the way i just experienced. Usually a general manager will resolve conflicts when you have an issue with their employee but not here. I guess their always right and your wrong. will never again attend this theater, am absolutely disgusted by the treatment received here.

Recent remodeling has made this facility a state-of-the-art, clean and efficient movie theater. The staff is also refreshingly courteous and professional given the current state of service professionals lately. Their pricing and reserved seating make for comfortable and economical entertainment choice.

The movie theater is great when it comes to prices. The recliners are sometimes broken, people try to take your seats, there is never any toilet paper in the womens bathroom, the bathrooms overall are gross, and people are always talking or on their phones causing the room to light up at times.The staff should try to inspect the seats or have rotuine bathroom checks to ensure its presentable and with a stock of toilet paper and strongly inphase the no usage of phones while movie is playing.

Well some of the theaters are not cleaned and the seats were very dirty in the cup holders and the arms of the seats and some of the seats were broken but the theatere was very clean before when they first got recliners!! great place tho!
