A sign near the charms declared a 50% off the second item I chose accordingly. At the completion of the sale the cost was over my expected amount and I questioned it. He entertained the idea of me retrieving the sign. I was right about the discount, but the sale was over. He honored the sale price, allowed me to use a coupon too! Crafting during COVID-19 a way cope!

This is one of the best places in the Tri-state area, Unless you go to Maine for seafood.

Although they didnt have a wide selection on candle making supplies, I was able to find a good sale on the Christmas decor. The store was very neet and clean,and I didnt have to wait in line forever!

I can understand that because of Covid-19 the usual process has changed. But what I dont understand is, how customer service is such a big failure. I place an order for curbside pickup, and despite getting emails saying the order is being processed I still wait two hours later. Normally I wouldnt I mind, but after calling the store for an idea of how long I could be waiting for I get the just wait for the completion email. Really?... Thats not very useful. So I decided to call the company to figure out how it usually takes but guess what? Dont bother calling the customer service line because itll tell you to go online to their chat system. Only problem is it doesnt work! I spent 15 min just connecting to an agent. Point of this review is if you expect to get anything done in a timely manner dont bother coming to this store or rely on the company for answers.

As Ive stated before I love shopping at Michaels. Always find what Im looking for when Im crafting something. They have great offers, classes, and I love the convenience of buy online, pick up in store.

Its Michaels so of course it is a wonderland of stamps and paints and pens. Another link in a chain of crafters paradises. Im honestly surprised how the staff can memorize where every little thing is, down to which end of the aisle. Lovely people in a lovely store.

I love Michaels. If I want to put color in a coloring book or create jewelry they have all I need.

So, I am a faithful joann fabric customer. Unfortunately the one in my area is closing, so I figured I would go Michaels and see if I could be converted. Instead I was completely turned off by my experience. There was little selection of different materials. I was very unimpressed by thr yarn selection. I found an item marked 14.99, brought to counter to purchase and it rang up 26.64. I told the cashier it was marked on self as 14.99, she then told me that is was not. Another cashier heard what was going on and called over walkie for someone to check the price. I decided I did not want the item and told the cashier to take it off, I had to tell her this four times before she rolled her eyes and took it off. I was then informed that the sign was for a sale that ended the 1st of the month, I visited on the 9th. I said well maybe someone should take the sign down, to which she shrugged her shoulders and handed me my change. After seeing the lack of selection and the attitude of the cashiers I will travel almost an hour to the closest joanns

Excellent selection of various crafting supplies. Best when you can hit a good sale. Sales personnel were knowledgeable. Seasonal merchandise selection was pretty extensive.

Always welcoming, neat and tidy, and aisles labeled clearly. This store almost always has what I need in stock. I gave only 3 stars because the employees are always around to help but dont always have the answers you need. I always go shopping here with a list and a good idea of what I want and need but sometimes an expert is still needed. In my honest opinion, based on my experiences in THIS particular store, a lot of the employees dont seem to have the necessary training and/or skills to be working in an arts and crafts store.

My daughter is into the arts and this store carries all things needed to explore different arts and crafts. We also had her bday party here and it was a blast. They let us bring in food and cake then had a activity planner/ hostess guide the kids through different projects which they all got to take home as favors.

The employees are always so rude here when I ask for help.! Overall it’s a good store but some of the few employees here don’t really help at all and just end up giving you an attitude when you ask where a location of something is. The other day I was asking about a where a specific paint medium was and she responds with the most rudest attitude, “IF WE DID HAVE IT IT’D BE IN THE PAINT SECTION”.

Good overall especially considering the location. Has mostly everything they should have. Good staff as well. Beware of the parking lot. Plenty of waterbury if you follow.

Dicey location aside...literally in love with this place. I makes my inner gay man all warm and fuzzy. I dont craft or anything, I just go with my wife for HER craft stuff and help her pick stuff out. Love this place. Just either avoid after dark or carry a gun, one of those 2 things.

Very good selection for regular crafts items. Terrible wifi. Almost impossible to pull up their emails in the store if you need a coupon so que them up before hand or youll get frustrated. You can catch decent Pokemon inside too LOL if you play Pokemon GO

This is definitely my go to store if I need art materials

A messier, less friendly Michaels than other stores Ive visited. Too many employees working the floor and uninterested in helping customers, neve enough at the registers. Registers are also set up for lefties which I found strange, and uncomfortable for paying and baggin my items. Parking lot is sketchy both for traffic patterns and security. Be alert.

My daughter & i love this place all year round & especially around the holiday season xmas time they have great finds for kids for gifts,self gifts,for others. Also great decorations,can make your own jewelry and craft things. Helped a friends make some center pieces for her gathering came out beautiful. Tjey have alot of different tjings art stuff which my daughters big in to. Place is pretty bug with lot of selection.

I bought a clear stamp set and when i got it home i relized that it had been opened.didnt think anything of it until i really OPENED the package and foundout that one of the stamps was missing!they need to check the packages really good before refunding a return item.
