I like this spot very much! Its a perfect place to go to skate small or big ledges, its big and open, its painted so it slides and grinds really well, all the local skaters there are really laid back. Its got a little bit of everything, I suggest going if you get a chance. Its free and no helmets required.
There is no shade and it needs repairs on the skating part, I almost killed myself skating on the broken, missing pieces of the ground.
A fantastic skatepark with lots of space and well laid out obstacles. Something for all skill levels here. It sort of feels like a proper SLS competition style skatepark. For some reason though everything (including the floor) has been painted with bright contrasting geometric shapes and colours. It makes it very difficult to see the edge of ledges and drops and stairs.A bit far out but theres paid parking.
Thought this park was pretty sweet, especially if you love ledges.
Awesome skate Plaza! A bit outside the city but easy enough to drive to, not sure if public transport goes that way. The parking lot attendant let us in for free since I told him we just wanted to skate for 20-30 mins. It has a quarter pipe on one side and the rest is manual pads, grind ledges, and cement kickers. A massive stair set and handrail and then a little 3 set for fun. Right near the highway too so if your going past or leaving DC its not really out if your way!
Skatepark is super sick if you love ledges!! Medium to high ledges mostly.
I hate the painted surfaces. There is no contrast on obstacle edges
Excellent skatepark
The best!
Very nice park
Usually not crowded
The bomb,but not literally.
Bmx is now allowed here!
